I thought I had left a review already, and realised I did not ! so here we go. I stayed at Atlas B&B twice, once in August 2018 and once in November 2018, for a work trip. I loved Tajikistan (Dushanbe) and my stay at Atlas. The environment is so homely, warm, welcoming and gives you a good idea of the Tajik aesthetic and way of furnishing homes. The whole B&B is super clean and comfortable, there is air con for the super hot summer as well as good heating for winter. The bed I remember was very comfortable. The food at the hotel (breakfast) is amazing. every time I would wake up super happy to go for breakfast. The staff super attentive, friendly and nice. Good spaces all around to work, on your own and with colleagues. Also, you can go to the nearby other Atlas hotel, which is bigger and has an indoor swimming pool, and use their facilities for free (coffee, tables, I think also swimming pool). the hotel is a small walk to Dushanbe downtown, in a very quiet area. nearby there are small corner shops and some amazing bakeries for bread. Tajik food is soo good, there are no words for it and the bread is to die for.

The Atlas B & B Guesthouse is a small, but very luxurious guest house. Every room has all modern conveniences including a powerful, Internet-connected computer. Excellent breakfast included in moderate price. Hotel driver will meet you at airport and will take you to local restaurants for dinner and bring you back. Friendly staff speaks English, Russian, and Tajik.

I stay at Atlas based on my colleague's recommendation. It has very clean, large, well appointed rooms.

The staff is very helpful. Due to a snafu of airport consulate visa issuance, the owner's son waited patiently for almost two hours to pick me up. This was a pleasant surprise, as I no longer expect he would stay that long.

This B & B is a favorite of many business visitors to Dushanbe. I met quite a few aid workers during breakfast, and they are all very pleased with the lodging, service and value.

This is a small, homely, well presented hotel that offers all the amenities a business traveller (or anyone else) might need. It provides a range of services from umbrellas to free drives to dinner and back, free internet and breakfast. A comfortable place refreshingly free of the corporate cloned style of international chains. The manager, Firuz, is a star and goes to unlimited lengths to help his guests and to keep them happy. The rooms are large and have all the facilities needed keep his guests happy. There can't be many hotels on the planet that drive you to dinner in a BMW. There may be better hotels around but I haven't found them.

Firuz, the owner's son, makes this special - he is extremely accommodating with providing transport both to and from the airport and in the morning to work and evening to a restaurant.
The rooms are well appointed, with hi speed wi-fi, and the breakfast is good, apart from the lack of filter coffee.

I am not usually inclined to write reviews but felt I should let people know that based on Trip Advisor reviews of Atlas I decided to skip the hotels and give this B & B a try. I stayed more than a week and loved my time at Atlas. The staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating. Their English is perfect and you feel as if you are at home. The amount of space per room is incredible and you will find all of the hotel amenities (many toiletries, slippers and a bathrobe). The Internet connection is not bad and local calls are free and the heater is great and they have AC for summer. I definitely recommend giving it a try. Yes, you will see that Dushanbe has some very fancy hotels but they do not provide the warm atmosphere of Atlas.

I was in Dushanbe in July and was looking for a place to stay for a few nights. I was planning to stay at the Hyatt Regency Hotel (which charges around $245/night), but was then given the recommendation of the Atlas Guesthouse. I am so glad I chose to stay at Atlas -- and at 1/3 the price ($80/night)! This is a real gem in the city; the rooms are very comfortable and well-equipped. There was a computer with internet access in my room, a TV with different satellite channels (although most were in Russian), and a modern bathroom with hot water and great water pressure. They also offer a nice breakfast every morning, as well as transportation to anywhere in the city and back (as long as it is arranged with the owners the night prior). My only complaint was that the weather in July was terribly hot, and the air conditioning took a long while to cool my room down (I don't know if this was true for the other rooms). I would recommend the Atlas Guesthouse over the Hyatt any day! However, the location is hard to find (as it is located in a residential neighborhood), so be sure you have a map!

The Atlas is a B&B with about 12 or so rooms over 3 floors. The rooms are really huge, and all have a computer with (slow but free) internet, fridge and TV, are spotlessly clean and decorated in a quirky kitsch motif. All guests must wear slippers inside the hotel so it's kept really clean. The breakfast is really great: Abundant fruit, eggs to order, cold cuts, cereal... whatever you want made fresh by the owner. Beds are of the REALLY firm orthopedic kind. The location is a bit out of the way, on a small street that's hard to find, and getting there by taxi is quite iffy. The downside is that occasionally there will be groups of younger people who stay there and make a lot of noise, and the rooms have virtually no sound isolation. If you go, try to get room 11, it faces the small garden and has a lot of light. There are rooms inside that have no windows and can be a bit depressing.

I have to say that if you are a Westerner traveler, your first five minutes at Atlas B&B you will be shocked by the place - the decoration of the rooms, the labyrinth structure of the place and even the location will look kind of weird. But that's it and after five minutes you realize you are in the best place to be in Dushanbe.

For me, the best way to summarize my experience is by using two words: hospitality and service. When you are travelling you want your hotel to be a replacement for home. And the owners, Feruz and Ferdous put all their best efforts to make you feel at home. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is varied and healthy. Internet connection good and the courtyard is a very pleasant place to relax or work. But by far is the service provided by the owners. Whatever you may need, they will provide - from food to free lifts in their car to whatever place you want in Dushanbe. That's for me simply priceless. As I said in the title of the review, some five stars hotels should learn to treat their clients from guys like those running the Atlas. Without any doubt, I will come back next time I am in Dushanbe.

I just spent a week at Atlas B and B. I have stayed at Hotel Mercure and Marion's on previous visits and this is by far the best option. Firoz the owner/manager is extremely accomodating for all your reqeusts, has excellent English skills and will drive you to your work destination and to dinnner in the evening. Great North American/European style bathrooms, dependable air-conditioning, and nice diverse offerings at breakfast. All around a great B and B in Dushanbe.
