Detailed Reviews
This hotel is a hidden gem in Dushanbe. It is quite new, and I discovered it when some colleagues, recommended it while on business in Dushanbe a few weeks ago. We arrived in Dushanbe in the beginning of the heat wave end of July, and we were a little worried whether the hotel was cool enough during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find a cosy complex with two buildings, more like two big villas connected in the middle by the reception and restaurant and surrounded by greenery and water fountains.
The hotel is family owned, and all staff from the gardener, guards, receptionists and service personnel at the breakfast table cannot do it enough to make us feel at home - we were welcomed as if we were family. The owner's son picked us up at the airport in the family car and brought us back again, when we left for the airport, so from start to finish we felt cared for.
The rooms are spacious, and contain everything you need: coffee maker, the first filling of the bar is free and consisted of a big bottle of water, 4 bottles of soft drinks. There is also a computer at your disposal and a safety deposit, which is big enough also for your laptop. Laundry services are quick and excellent. There is a small indoor pool in each building, Turkish bath etc. which we unfortunately did not have time to try.
The beddings were perfect, and the pillows are probably the softest, which I have tried in a long time. One of the highlights was the air conditioner, which worked silently and efficiently. The room, which was non-smoking was truly non-smoking. In many Former Soviet Union Countries, non smoking rooms, still smell of cigarette smoke, so this was greatly appreciated.
The rooms and facilities are probably the cleanest, which I have tried in a long time. There is a restaurant serving breakfast, which is included in the price. Although, the hotel does not have a restaurant which cater for lunch and dinner, the staff are very helpful in ordering food from restaurants nearby. The hotel is centrally located in a quiet residential area, not far from the center and government offices. It is also a few minutes to the green bazar, so several times we requested the staff to buy some water melons for us, which they served upon request in the garden.
All in all, a great experience, which can be recommended to all kinds of travelers. Why pay more for luxury, when you can get everything at the Twins Hotel without busting your budget?
Thank you once again Twins Hotel for your hospitality and for making our stay in Dushanbe memorable. More power to you!

From our very first contact this hotel was excellent.
Immediate response from Rustam to emails and kind as well.
We arrived in the dark and were welcomed by Umed.
When I realized our room was on the top floor I requested a change to the lower floor. He said he needed to check with his manager and returned with a smile saying “no problem”
This was the attitude to everything we needed while we were there.
We were travelling from London to Beijing and from storing our mattresses to providing a pressure washer for the Land Rover to making copies for us our GBAO documents to filling flasks!
The hotel has a lovely aspect which I have not encountered before
Tea and coffee are available all day and night and included in the price as are items of washing while there!
The room was spotless , air con worked fabulously, and a really comfortable bed.
It really is a beautiful old building with a courtyard to sit in. Breakfast was lovely!
Firdavs ( I hope I have the spelling correct) helped us from our arrival to our departure.
To Rustam, Umed, Firdavs and Abdullo, we thank you and will always remember our stay with you!
It was superb!

I stayed for a week at Twins in May 2015. Cost was about USD 90 per night, which is neither cream nor expensive. It is a nice hotel. Very clean. Very quiet area, the only noise will be coming from the neighboring rooms (and the insulation is not great). Good breakfast. Good wifi. Nice garden. Very caring staff. Good bedding. The shower in my room was a bit worn out but nothing really serious. In summary a good experience and a hotel that can be recommended for those on business who cannot afford the Serena or the Hyatt, which are the two international hotels in Dushanbe, obviously much more expensive unless you benefit from a discounted rate of some sort.

A spotless and friendly hotel in a residential area of Dushanbe (which guarantees a quiet evening, and good night's rest). Friendly and attentive staff, including the multilingual staff at reception and the caring cleaning staff (Malika - thank you for your humor:). A charming library (mostly Russian and Tajik books, including some historical treasures) at reception. Air conditioning, wifi, tea and coffee in the room. A charming courtyard, and very gracious owners - who had originally built this as their family residence - which adds local color and charm to your stay. Completely safe, with staff paying careful attention to make sure everyone is comfortable. A nice example of Central Asian hospitality and warmth. Would recommend to anyone coming to Dushanbe for the first time, or for frequent visitors. A little outside the city center - so in hot weather better to take the (very affordable and safe) taxi to/from the city center (5 min ride). Will be looking forward to staying with them again in the future.

Clean, efficient, friendly and not too expensive.
On a back street, not too far from the green market and opera house. Felt very safe walking in the afternoon and evening. Breakfast included and it reasonable but not much variety Omelettes are good, but get a bit boring after five days.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel a lot. If you expect something royal, this is not your place, but for a casual hotel it is extremely good. Considering prices around, it matches other similar options but has by far better service. People here are very nice and positive, any reasonable request is met right away by the team. People who directly manage the hotel, reception guys, guards and their breakfast cook are all amazingly responsive. Rooms are well equipped with simple things one needs at a hotel. I didn't have to call to ask for anything extra while my stay.
The only big minus is Internet connection when the hotel is full. It seems they need some upgrade of hardware or hire a better provider. Every single thing except for this made me very happy!

It happened to me that I booked this Hotel for my colleague who would visit Dushanbe for business trip. And it turned out that the inviting organization arranged another hotel for him and he forgot to notify me about the change of plans. And as a result my booking.com account showed "No Show"....which meant I would lose money. Nevertheless, I contacted the hotel staff, and they IMMEDIATELY SOLVED THE ISSUE WITHOUT CHARGING ANYTHING! I really appreciate this attitude towards clients and express my deepest gratitude for that. I would definitely recommend this Hotel Twins to everybody!

Unfortunately we just had the chance to stay one night in this exceptional hotel. Rooms and service are incredible. Courtyard and reception are a bit old fashioned so we were afraid to see the rooms. But what a surprise. Clean, big, Very modern with even a Computer And a huge flat screen and really quiet. Yes, even the bathroom is pretty big. We have seen the new Sheraton, the Hyatt too. The twins doesn't need to hide at all. Breakfast was rich and yummy. Thanks.
