Detailed Reviews
Lonely Planet recommends this hotel at 30 $ per person a night. But the woman in charge starts at 50 $ per person a night. Then you have to negotiate ...
The rooms are small suites, very nice, with AC and Wifi, although like in all Soviet type hotels some features are damaged or do not work.
If you walk 5 or 10 minutes towards the center, there is a cheap and actually quite good self service restaurant on the other side of Rudaki.

The location is easy to find and located beatifuly in the hart of the city. It is surrounded by parks - great to go for a walk after a long day in car. The hotel itself impresses by its charme and newly renovated rooms. Great service for great value!

Not only is this hotel terrible in every way but also they took all our ypassport information and stalked our entire group online and posted a bunch of pictures of us without our knowledge or consent and even shared some of our personal information. Also almost everything is not working in the rooms... from some plugs, air-conditioning, kettle. Just avoid

This hotel looks like it may have been nice many years ago. The rooms are spacious and superficially clean but musty. The matresses aren't very good (same as the other places i stayed in Tajikistan). The biggest problem was the bathroom. The first night i stayed the toilet didn't flush. Even after asking at the front desk multiple times it didn't get fixed. The second night i stayed (about a week later) i was in a room with a leaky and dripping shower. And then as i was taking a shower, the hose to the shower head broke apart.
The asking price of 50dollars seems much too high.
