Detailed Reviews
Hotel used by our airline for long stay. Really well located with amazing views to the new city. Rooms are aceptable , bit old , really nice spa and gym.
Workers are always helpful and profesional. And the sky bar is a must.
Room service can be better in terms of food quality and quantity.
Recommended for business trips

The location is great as its near many touristic attractions like the Opera, Baiterek tower, Khan Shatyr and others.
The view from the room was great, staff was super
friendly and helpful and the overall quality was excellent.
Breakfast choices are limited though.

Hotel is good but the most impressive thing was the staff helps me for everything during my stay. The reseptionist girl Aygerim helped me to find veterinary clinic and I found my cat’s medicine with her help. Thank you very much Aygerim!

The standard rooms are very small and lacking amenities. Just a lonely instant coffee and hot water kettle. The wifi was terribly slow and lost connection frequently. The room was always too hot, even with AC set to maximum. I slept poorly every night because it was too hot and the bed too saggy. The view was uninspiring, looking out to the construction zone next door. The location is not good, seemingly just a bit too far from everything you'd want to do or see. The breakfast very basic and lacking flavor. The room service menu every basic and lacking flavor. The restaurant served us a sloppy tasteless burger. They had in stock only 1 of the 7 or so beers on their menu... and it was surely the least exciting option. I definitely will not stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights during a business trip. Hotel is a standard 5-star hotel for its level, nice rooms with nice city view.
However, when one pays this much money to a global chain, expects a bit more.
The restaurant on roof top (27th floor I believe) was closed for both nights for private events. How can you not allow your guests use the facility, if that is one of the attractions of your hotel? A lady let me look around nonetheless, but told me the place was booked for private events on both nights, so I could not dine.
Furthermore, I asked for a taxi to the airport, and the driver tried to rip me off. Having the language challenge, I tried to contact the hotel to help at least with translation, and no answer. I would expect a taxi booked through the hotel concierge not to rip me off! Driver was also driving recklessly, speeding and racing with other vehicles, so much so that I had to shout at the driver to stop if he was to drive like that. You are better to use ride share apps for any trip in this country.
Reception staff were kind, even the bellboy spoke decent English (welcome change in the country).
You probably better off with another establishment when you stay in this city.

Minus 5 stars) the hotel is in disrepair, the service is at the level of a rural hostel. It has a good location near the Khan Shatyr shopping center, but that’s where all the good things end. Dirty, very “worn out” rooms, stained lampshades, stains of unknown origin in the bathtub, stains on the headboard of the bed, ash and dirt on the bathroom floor. The reception service is so slow and not up to par with the hotel that I wonder how they even passed the certification. From the shower, boiling water will pour on you without warning, and from the windows at night it will blow so much that you can only sleep in warm socks and a robe. The elevators don't work. You can wait 20 minutes locked in their rooftop restaurant because on the ground floor, someone opened the door and the elevators from the Hall cannot go up. You will wait a very long time for the elevator from the first floor to start moving up to your rooms. Overall, if you have other options, don't stay here. Collective farm!

We came for lunch as a family of 4. It took over 20 minutes before we managed to get the waiter’s attention, even though the local customers who arrived after us were served immediately. It was clear they were ignoring us.
When we finally managed to get the waitress she said we could have gone and found her if we needed to.
bizarre, sloppy and somewhat expected at a Soviet outfit.
For an international hotel charging London prices, it’s not acceptable.
We got drinks and left to get lunch elsewhere.

Very bed managed.
Did not come to change towels, simply explaining too much clients.
No one smiling at reception.
No gluten free and lactose free.
Poor breakfast.
Look likes no one committed to managed the hotel.
Old style forniture.
You can find something better in the town

Another Marriott that is probably five star in rating but I find to be uninspiring in practice. However the staff are pleasant and English speaking. One noticeable outstanding achievement are the incredibly soft bed sheets.

Hi to you
It's a very friendly city and the people go out of there way to help foreigners .
I would say on a scale of 1/10 for females it's an 8/10 for safety ,streets are well lite and most times police are on the streets .
But like any big city just be aware of your surroundings
Enjoy your visit
Best
