Our trip to Hue was a very pleasant surprise! And for 2 main reasons: Silk Path Grand Hue Hotel and the very place of Hue itself. Much as I wanted to post our review right after our Hue experience to show our appreciation with how we were treated in Silk Path Grand Hue Hotel, I got sick and had to catch up on chores to do. My daughter and I were welcomed quite warmly starting from Mr. Thien Tran and to the reception with Mr. Kha Nguyen. Our cup of Blue Tea in the well curated and elegant lounge made a very good first impression that lasted all throughout our stay. The garden, the pool we passed leading to our room was a refreshing respite. Our room with a view of the Perfume River promised a comforting rest which they thoughtfully provide with delightful snacks to savor. And you can smell the cleanliness throughout the whole Silk Path Grand. They even patiently assisted us to choose the Vietnamese garb we can wear for our visit to the historical places for free. I’m sorry I missed the name of the staff in charge. The breakfast buffet was laden with scrumptious and varied food to our content. We were pampered by the excellent service of Nhan, Phu Pham, Trung Phan, Thien Tran. We were truly touched by their genuine and sincere hospitality that we felt we were family.
The only regret we had is that we only stayed for a night. However, it is knowing that we can always go back and see our friends in Silk Path Grand and of course, explore more the historical charm of Hue!

We booked the hotel room through an agent and haven't researched about this hotel a lot. Upon arrival, we are surprised how beautiful and clean the hotel is. We are a family with two kids, the kids can play for hours in the Kids room and swim in the swimming pool, while we can also swim and do gym. Hotel room are super clean and well equipped with luxury furnitures. A la carte breakfast offered for free every morning makes it a pleasant experience, we can sleep until 9am and wake up, and can still order food for breakfast. Breakfast is well served with a lot of traditional Hue food, plus Western recipes. Hotel location is on the most beautiful street in Hue, and is close to all the attractions. I will definitely recommend my friends to stay in this hotel to experience the great Hue city. Hope to see you soon.

This is my 4th/5th time to Hue since my early childhood, you could say I have witnessed the transformation of Hue through the years.
This time is the first time I try a 5 stars hotel to stay, due to Covid, everything seems possible : )
Before SilkPath Grand Hue, I spent a day at Four Points Da Nang, I can say, both hotels offer a great experience and it worth every penny.
SilkPath Grand Hue is much more like a boutique hotel to me, the design is truly stunning, you feel the warmth and royalty at first sight. The room was quiet, spacious and feature all the amenities I needed for my business trip.
The next morning, I tried the gym and had breakfast at Nam Phuong restaurant, which I think, is so well furnished and served. It was regret not to enjoy the pool due to bad weather.
My booking was handle by Ms. Hoa Pham and Ms. Loan, I would say they brought out the hospitality of Hue people that meets all my needs.
It was a remarkable stay at the heart of the imperial city, I would definitely come back for another stay.

This hotel was overwhelmingly grand and beautiful. Huge entrance and reception, gorgeous attention to detail, and a beautiful design scheme. We came just after busy season, so had the hotel almost to ourselves! Excellent service and cocktails, and breakfast was a delight each day. The staff were wonderful and really made us feel welcome. It is walking distance from the Imperial Citadel, and so convenient in general- walking back to the the hotel along the river banks was lush each evening. Also, the pool is chlorinated, not an ozone pool, so I felt slightly more comfortable in it. We will definitely return, should we go back to Hue!

I stayed at the hotel during my short trip in Hue and I must say that I wish I could stay there longer and I will definitely come back.
The Wow:
What impressed me was the concept and the chic, artistic, creative and yet super practical of the hotel. I really enjoyed the vibe there with chilled music while looking at the collections of pictures, flowers and artworks. If you love art and would like a chilled yet calm place, this is the right place to stay in Hue.
The rooms were very clean, spacious and very comfortable. I must say everything was attention to the smallest details.
I would like to say special thanks to the team, including Ms. Loan who took care of my booking requests, Ms. Anh, Ms. Hien, Ms. Huong, Mr. Thanh , Ms. Nga and Ms. Uyen, who assisted during my stay, providing me with all of the information and service when I asked about Hue, the hotel design and so on. Breakfast was freshly served, recommend the egg Benedict. Lunch was delicious with a diverse variety of choices for both local Hue, Vietnamese dishes and western dishes. I did not expect that much during this covid time. And what surprised me was the afternoon tea time for 4 persons with super delicious cakes, pastries and buns.
I wish the weather was better so that I could enjoy the pool.

Our stay at Silk Path Grand was from 29 Dec 2022 until 6 Jan 2023. Our plan to stay at the Silk Path Resort Hotel was in fact only for 4 nights, but after staying 1 night we changed our plan and stayed for 8 nights because the Hotel was so beautiful and our stay was so comfortable and happy. All staff were very friendly and tried to help us in every way. Silk Path Grand is hotel is the jewel of Hue city. Every painting, furniture and color of the floor etc are decorated in a really elegant way to every nook and cranny. Foods in the hotel restaurant are very delicious and the breakfast buffet changes daily with a variety of options. We really enjoyed our stay and will undoubtedly visit this hotel again. Often we were greeted by General Manager Ms. Liew and she made sure that everything was okay and if anything more needed. Front office manager Ms. Nguyen T. T. L. gave us always good tips and advise which was very helpful for us. We already miss our stay at Silk Path Grand and looking forward to visit again as soon as possible.

The Silk Path Hue is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in during my travel across Vietnam. This hotel offers a wide range of services more than you could use, such as sauna, gym, and even a reading area and a well-equipped business center. I came here on a business trip and stayed at the Classic room. The room was exceptionally comfortable with such utility you can think of in a hotel room. I had some difficulties with the TV and the employees but the staff was extremely helpful and attentive so the problem was solved in no time. My conference took place in their Grand Ballroom, this conference hall is well-equipped and the participants even got complementary sweets and drinks. Overall, my experience was more than satisfaction and I highly recommend this hotel for others.

The staff are worthy of a 7 star rating down from the general manager, Tarnie, to Loan, the Customer Service Manager, to the Executive Chef, staff in the restaurant , drivers, room staff, staff greeting guests & staff in the Spa. Everyone I came across was very helpful and made me feel so special.
What an amazing hotel. The room I was in overlooked the river and I caught an amazing sunset.
The hotel dries their own Butterfly Pea Flowers for their restaurant. I managed to see kitchen staff collecting the flowers on my last morning, which added to my experience.
They organised tours for me, which really added to my superlative stay. I ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. I had chef specialities and recommendations by staff. The Hue Crispy Pancake was sensational. The Tiramisu was a very generous serve.
Wonderful treatments in the spa helped me recover from a big day on my tour taking in the sights.
I felt that all the staff cared about their guests and went above and beyond to everyone.
The gym and pool look wonderful but I didn’t have time to try them out. High teas seem to be offered in the main reception room as I often saw groups of young women enjoying cakes and teas.

Disclaimer: we did not spend our stay at Silk Path since we were completely unaware of its existence before we came to Hue. But once we discovered this magnificent hotel ideally located on the best street of Hue, we needed to come in to try the restaurants. And we kept coming back the next day, and the next. The hotel itself is flawlessly beautiful, so grand but still exudes warmth and comfort. The staff was invariably polite, courteous, and truly kind in a quintessentially "old capital" way. We even went there for one last afternoon tea before heading to the airport.
This was all last year and I did not think to post this review before, but now after a very difficult year, not only for me personally but also for my fellow countrymen and people working in the hospitality industry, I think I should offer an encouraging word to people of Silk Path Hue. I have had the most wonderful stay at the Silk Path Sapa with my family in 2018 and from the pictures and glowing reviews, I am sure this sister property will be just as good in terms of quality. And you cannot beat the price. If Silk Path Hue was located in any other metropolitan cities, the prices could be 5 times as high and no one would bat an eye.
So all in all, I hope the hotel maintains its high standards and stays in business for a long, prosperous time. I will surely come back, preferably soon. Ms. Hoai Anh.

We stayed at the Silk Path for 4 nights in a deluxe twin room. We ABSOLUTELY loved everything about this hotel. This is one of my top 5 ever favorite hotels. The hotel itself is simply gorgeous. It has been beautifully maintained and is in fabulous condition. The pool and surrounding garden areas are beautiful. We ate at the main restaurant and also in the lobby cafe and both food and service are outstanding. The staff are very helpful and friendly. My one slight criticism is that we had to find someone to get food and drink service at the pool. The location is very close to the train station, but a good 20 minute walk, or short taxi ride to the center of town. There are not many western/tourist friendly restaurants in the vicinity, but there is the fantastic Memoire Cafe for the best coffee in the area just behind the hotel. We ate dinner each night in the center of town and loved walking back to the hotel along the riverfront after dinner. I highly recommend this hotel.
