What i really liked about this hotel were super spacious, clean and comfortable rooms! I felt like I was staying in a five star hotel for a 2 star hotel price. They are just beautifully decorated, spotless and quite quiet. The staff was also friendly, they helped us with booking us train tickets etc. The breakfast was on the top floor with nice views and big variety of foods, there was plenty to choose from.
What I didnt like that much: the indoor swimming pool was ice-cold and not very clean, there was a dead fly floating around. I also booked a massage from the spa and it didnt feel professional at all - especially when in the end the massager lady was waiting for to get an extra tip which felt very awkward. Also the location is not the best as there's quite a big walking distance to all the attractions and there's a big noisy traffic all around the hotel.

Brand new hotel, so new the sticker hasn’t even come off yet. Loved the location away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk anywhere. The small street behind it was our favorite in Hue. Local residences and small businesses — so chill and charming. Got my hair done at a salon around the corner called Toc May and soaked in the hum and drum of local life of Hue while sitting there. The pool and spa area is really nice, and the sun filled patio was fantastic after breakfast. The breakfast buffet was too big and too much food. Fewer options with higher quality would be better — like fresh squeezed juices. Rooms are beautiful and traditional style, pay more for the larger layout with more windows. The floor to ceiling windows offer great views and makes the rooms feel really sunny and airy. It’s all so spic and span clean, hope they keep that up. Lobby is ok but smells like food near the elevators. Overall though, would not recommend any other hotel in Hue.

Our experience at this hotel was amazing, we arrived about 10pm on Tuesday after a very long flight and stayed 7 nights. We were upgraded to a signature suite, a beautiful corner suite on the 10th floor. The room was spotless, well appointed and the (huge) bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a seperate lounge area and the views were fantastic.
We booked our incoming transfer from Danang airport and our outgoing transfer to Hoi An via the Van Pass thru the hotel and the drivers were excellent.
The buffet breakfast was a great mixture between Vietnamese and western, if you can’t see what you want on the buffet, just ask and the staff will do their very best to accommodate you.
As with most places in Vietnam since COVID, the restaurants and bars in this hotel were not yet opened. This was ok with us as Mr Cuong (Guest Relation Manager) recommended some excellent restaurants and the staff even organised pizza delivery for us a couple of nights when we were too tired to wander out. Taxis are very cheap, a couple of dollars in a cab will get you to most places in Hue.
We would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful family at the Than Linch Boutique Hotel. All of the staff were amazing but special mention goes to Mr Cuong, who could not do anything more to ensure our stay was amazing. Also to Ms Thi Hoa who took care of us at Breakfast, Ms Thanh Tuyen (Receptionist), Ms Phuong Anh (Front Office Manager), Mr Min Tam (Bellman) and the lovely Ms Nguyet who ran the kitchen.
Thank you so much, we had a wonderful stay and we hope to see you all again soon.

This hotel is close to a lot of Hue's tourist attractions and for a few dollars, you can take a short taxi ride there. The hotel reception will arrange a taxi, especially if it's hot like it is in August. You can walk too, as we did some days. Our room was a fantastic 9th floor Signature Suite 905, with a full lounge and sitting area, a corner suite with floor to ceiling windows. Wonderful to come back to after sightseeing.
There's a great restaurant near by called Gao (across the road from the hotel and just 50 metres down to the left). Very clean, with freshly cooked and reasonably priced local food. Thanh Lich Royal Hotel, like many in Vietnam have just opened recently after covid, so the 12th floor restaurant only opened for breakfast. This didn't worry us as we ate out for other meals.
The hotel is doing a little renovating right now, but the noise was okay, nothing too much at all. The hotels are all trying to get ready for when more tourists arrive, so understand their renovating a bit.
The reception staff are fantastic. Coung is very friendly and helpful and is the Guest Relations Person. He will try to help you in every way. We wanted a corkscrew and he arranged for this and bought some wine for us at the right price in Hue. He suggested some authentic restaurants to eat at, so we could try the many wonderful unique Hue dishes. Hang Me Me was a locals place, very cheap and worth it.
Across the road rom Hang Me Me is Madame Thu. This is full of Westerners only, and you line up to get a table. Great food, english speaking staff, amazing food but a little dearer than others.
Thi Hoa was our waitress in the morning for breakfast..extremely helpful and spoke good English. She is a great asset to this hotel and goes above and beyond for many things to help us.
The best of the staff were especially Thanh Tuyen and Thao Nguyen. Their English is exceptional and they made our visit so very special, telling us info and helping with suggestions to make our stay great and our entire Hue experience.

Very luxurious hotel with beautiful aesthetics throughout. Staff are very attentive, rooms are well-equiped and breakfast has the biggest spread we’ve ever seen in Vietnam. Great views from the breakfast buffet on 12th floor and has so much variety.

We stayed in this hotel and were having a lovely time when the local authorities effectively quarantined us as part of their anti-Covid actions. Although we subsequently tested negative having been moved to another remote hotel, we had to stay in our room at this hotel for a couple of days.
The staff were understandably nervous that we may be ill but nonetheless looked after us wonderfully and made sure we had regular deliveries of great food and drinks. They also checked on us regularly.
Our stay was most inconvenient for the hotel at a very difficult time and I would like to say a massive thank you to the staff and management for looking after us so well.
This is a very nice hotel and our room was lovely, and well equipped. We hope the hotel is very busy with returning guests very shortly - the staff deserve it

We visited this hotel on our tour of Vietnam, we only stayed for one night while we visited the Citidel. Great location and beautiful hotel with super reception team Check in was smooth and the room allocated to us was a huge corner suite on the 11th floor...impressive Pool and spar on 5th floor Never tried the spa but saw a few coming out and they looked impressed Pool was immaculate with towels provided I usually give very positive views with top marks however wish only to offer an insight to improve the super hotel 1 Used the 12th Floor restaurant on the first night and the young lady serving was unable to speak English Order was taken incorrectly despite pointing to our specific choices My red wine turned up towards the end of the main course. White wine was previously brought The main course turned up before I was finished my starter, seafood soup which was very bland My Wife had ribs which were fatty and touch. My Stir fry Chicken and Veg was good Food was just ok in general
Our room though very impressive was noisy on a morning with the breakfast area being on the floor above We could here the chairs being moved
Great huge bath but low water pressure would make filling it a long process
Just a few points that the Management would take onboard not as criticism but rather as positive comments to improve On the whole we were very happy with our stay and would return again The best things about the hotel were the staff, the decor and the initial vibe

Best breakfast we'd thus far in La Paix Bistro Restaurant. Very useful as well as staff that is friendly actually provided us with a shock dinner box to undertake the train at night. Really great rooms! The manager was extremely helpful! excellent location too. Endorse!

We were delighted that our hotel was located so proximate to local attractions, restaurants and services. Our room was large, with excellent bathroom facilities, an enormous bed and a separate lounge area. We situated our two children (8 & 10) in the room next door with an interconnecting door which made things more comfortable. There was a serviceable buffet breakfast included and a pool on the 6th floor. The real bonus was English speaking concierge staff who were able to book restaurants, airport connections and tours. Hue offered a relaxed vibe after the mayhem of Da Nang and this establishment certainly added value to the experience.

Pas de problème pour visiter la ville à pied : durant tout notre voyage au Vietnam et au Cambodge nous n'avons jamais pris de transport en ville. Nous marchons bien mais nous ne sommes plus tout jeune (dans la moyenne).
