Located in the Old Quarter with new world charms. We had a room located on the 10th floor which had a great view overlooking the city. Even though our room (1005) was on the entrance street we did not hear the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was great. Staff had fantastic customer service. The afternoon tea and ... was a great respite. We also had a great meal at night on the 8th floor in the Red Bean Restaurant.
My wife and I arrived at La Siesta Trendy after a 6 hour drive from Sapa and we couldn't have asked for a better welcome. Upon entering the hotel, we were led to a large couch where we were presented with snacks and fruit. The hotel had also arranged for their bartender to come down and put together a passion fruit mocktail, which we loved (and that's saying something considering I don't really like fruit). The surprises didn't stop there. When we got to our room we were told that the hotel had upgraded us to their best room, and I've got to say it was fantastic. Huge, stylish, and comfortable all at the same time. These guys really understand hospitality and how to take care of guests. They even gave us a coupon for 2 free drinks at their bar, and another one for a seafood lunch buffet the next day. We were honestly blown away by the service. The personalised welcome card from the hotel's GM was also a nice touch. Since we were tired after the long drive, we decided to order room service and turn in early. It took just 15 minutes for our dinner to be wheeled into our room, and not only that, it was delicious. In my experience, room service food has never tasted so good. Just to give you an idea as to how efficient and on-the-ball these guys are, it took literally 45 to 60 seconds from me calling room service, for them to show up and clear the plates. Everything about Hanoi La Siesta Hotel Trendy screams class. From the minute you walk in, the care and effort put into designing the hotel is so evident. I've stayed at all sorts of hotels, but never before has style met substance so well. These guys back up the style with sensational customer service. I need to make a special mention of the receptionist, Tung Doan. He checked us in late in the evening, and was also the first person we saw at breakfast the next morning. Always attentive and ready to help you, Tung made our stay (which was already fantastic) even better. Overall, the hotel don't treat their customers like guests but like family, and this was summed up the next day when we checked out, where 6 to 7 staff members gathered to wave goodbye whilst we headed off in a taxi. I can't speak highly enough of La Siesta Trendy. If you choose to stay here, you won't regret it. For my part it's not a goodbye, but see you later, cause the next time I'm in Hanoi, there's no place I'd rather stay.…
The hotel was in a great central location in the old quarter. The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. The hotel itself was modern and eco-friendly. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast every morning was delicious. If I visit Hanoi again, I would stay at this hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at La Siesta Trendy. It was perfectly located in the old quarter and close to the train road and good restaurants. The staff were very friendly, Trung and Hieu were two of the staff that we got to know during our stay. They greeted us for breakfast each morning and provided good recommendations throughout our trip. However, every staff we met greeted us with a smile, whether it was in the hallways or at the front door. The staff went above and beyond to help accommodate us. The breakfast buffet had good options of North American and Vietnamese foods and we started our day each morning with a Vietnamese coffee. There's also a good view of the city from the breakfast room. We then proceeded to stay at the La Siesta in Hoi An and our friends at the Hanoi location hooked us up with drinks at the Hoi An bar. The service is top notch and we highly recommend the La Siesta chain when traveling Vietnam. …
We stayed for 3 nights our booking was for a Trendy Deluxe. Wasn't exactly my idea of deluxe, quite small with a small window overlooking roofs and walls. Night 1 we were so tired after travelling that we slept really well, I don't think an earthquake would have woken either of us, bed was very comfortable. 2nd night was not good, every half anhour we were woken by the sound fo toilets flushing so must of looked a bit worse for wear at breakfast because one of the staff asked if we had slept well. I said unfortunately not, she immediately asked if we would like to move, I said if you have somehwere quieter yes that would be great. We were told to ensure thateverything was packed up and come to reception when we returned from our sight seeing which we duly did. We were escorted out of the main building next door, through the spa entrance to what is designated the quiet zone and to Suite 615 which was lovely, at least twice the size of the deluxe with a balcony, pity we weren't in there to start with, you live and learn. As for the rest of the hotel it was lovely, the breakfast was everything you could ever think of, the restaurant food was excellent, the bar relaxing and the cocktails great. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Excellent base for walking around Hanoi.…
