When booking in at the hotel they messaged us through booking.com to offer us an airport shuttle which was really helpful when we hadn't been to Vietnam before.
When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist sat down with us and went through key areas nearby and answered all our questions around Hanoi.
This is the first time a hotel has done this and was excellent service!
Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Room was in good shape, really clean and tidy, bed comfortable, plugs in good locations, decent channels on TV, good aircon.
The porter showed us where a cheap laundry service was (we paid around £6 for 4.5kg of washing) and was dried and folded when we came back in 6 hours.
They arranged a scooter for us to use which cost £5 for 24 hours which was ready in 15 mins.
Arranged a private bus (she rang round multiple companies to try and sort) for our trip to Ba Be Lake.
Arranged a boat tour to halong Bay for us and when the company they usually used were full they organised another one for us.
All in all fantastic service from this hotel with a good room.

We stayed in the Hang ga location twice during our one week stay in the picturesque country of Vietnam. Not only is it easy on the pocket, but provides a scenic view in an otherwise cramped, overpopulated Old Quarter area. Make sure you request a stay on the fifth floor or above to experience the view. Their breakfast buffet is a splendid mix between both regional and international cuisines, be it Vietnamese or American, the food will satiate your taste buds making you want more. On our first visit, we were provided a physical map of Old Quarter to experience th culinary and tourist delights the region has to offer, the receptionist was kind enough to attend to all of our queries with persistent patience, which reduced our time spent on searching for tourist spots. They also offered us a airport transfer at the Grab (SEA Uber) price, which is unheard of in a region where prices are inflated due to high tourist demand. Overall, as a honeymoon couple we HIGHLY Recommend this hotel for Hanoi Old Quarter stay.

We booked a Hanoi Heritage Hotel for 2 nights. Just prior to arrival they contacted us to say they were closed for repairs but moved us to a sister hotel and provided a free upgrade so we stayed in a top quality room on top floor with private balcony overlooking the street. This allowed us premier viewing of the marvelous thunder and lightening storm on our first night! Everything was top quality in the room and ensuite. Very good breakfast. Right in the old quarter and also close to the lake.

The hotel was extremely accommodating and helped us with booking good bars, arranging transport to the airport. Even the room service was on time and the breakfast was well prepared for an early 6:30 am tour. The location is close to train street, good bars, and shopping areas and it’s a bit busy outside but you don’t hear much in the room.

Arrived and was warmly welcomed by the staff and given a welcome drink. We had to wait to check into out room which was fine as check in was only at 2.00pm. After check in we were shown our room and were disappointed. The photos on the internet are definitely either photo shopped or from when it was built. The bathroom had mould on the blind and the spa bath needs to be replaced or revamped. Looks very shabby on the inside. The bedroom/sitting area plus the bathroom both need a good paint and makeover. Breakfast was only so so and could be improved a lot. But all that said the staff were fantastic. They make the place. Very helpful with any queries and arranged a day city tour, Halong Bay and Ninh Binh tours. All were long days but fabulous so thank you to the staff member who arranged these tours for us. Sorry I can’t remember names but all the staff were fantastic and a big thank you to you all! You certainly made our stay extremely enjoyable.

I booked this hotel last minute and was impressed by the prompt response from Mr. Fin, who assisted with reservations even late at night.

The hotel has a fantastic location in Hanoi's Old Quarter, offering a peaceful retreat away from street noise while still being just a four-minute walk from Beer Street.

The breakfast served on the top floor was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond by proactively arranging to pack food for us when we had to rush for our cruise.

Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by various amenities such as restaurants, coffee shops, money exchange services, and mini-marts, all conveniently located within a two-minute walk.

Arrived very early in the morning on the train and paid for an early check in which is half the room price. Also able to have breakfast.
Booked the junior suite and initially shown to a room that didn't have a balcony which it was supposed to but luckily we were able to change rooms. Room itself wasn't big, definitely not what I'd describe as a suite but two decent sized beds, large walk in shower and a balcony with table and chair outside which gave a great view down over the street and I sat there a lot just watching the locals at the corner restaurant and all the motorbikes whizzing by. The location is good as in old quarter but on a quieter side compared to the manic area around the lake and beer street but still only a short walk away. Staff helpful and I also made use of the spa facilities which were reasonably priced. The breakfast room on the top floor has good views over the roof tops and there was a good choice of breakfast items including pastries and salads and the usual egg choices
This is not a large luxury hotel but a good option for midrange especially if you like a bit of outside space rather than just a window.

We just finished a 2 week trip throughout Vietnam and Hanoi was the last stop on the trip. We did the city for a few days before Ha Long Bay then back to Hanoi to end the trip. We stayed at L’Heritage hotel and everything from the minute we booked was amazing.

My Bui, the manager in charge, went so far out of the way to make sure our stay was perfect, even helping organizing my bus to and from Ha Long Bay before we were even at their hotel. From recommendations on where to eat, great knowledge about the city, and always waiting to see if we need any help at all the stay in L’Heritage was perfect.

In addition to amazing staff, the room was perfect. Spacious rooms, big comfy beds, massive windows with great views, a smart TV for if you want your Netflix, etc. The breakfast was great too, with a good mix of typical Vietnamese and Asian dishes but also some western staples (and food made to order) for those who might prefer food to what they’re used to. Lastly, as for the location - it is centrally located within walking distance to just about anything you’d want to do or see, and even when walking home in the middle of the night we always felt safe. All in all, we didn’t have a single complaint.

Thank you so much to the L’Heritage staff for an awesome stay to close out a crazy trip through a new country. You all embody the kindness of so many Vietnamese we have met these few weeks and for anyone reading 100% recommend staying here if you drop through Hanoi. I know if we ever come back we certainly will. Maybe we’ll even try the spa next time!

Thanks again My Bui and the rest of the staff!

We stayed at the Hanoi L'Heritage for 5 nights. It was a really nice hotel at an unbeatable pricepoint for the location and quality. The rooms were small but well insulated from noise, with good air conditioning and curtains to protect from light (for sleep ins!). The breakfast buffet was really good with a great selection, and some new offerings each morning. In particular, the omlettes and pho (which they prepare by order) was extremely tasty.
In particular, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
