On arrival, they upgraded us from the Superior Twin for free. On departure, they readily packed a breakfast for us knowing we had an early flight without being told to do so.
Everything in between was nothing short of hospitable and professional. From the door man asking us if we knew how to get to our next location to the rooms exuding a quiet subtle beauty about them.
11/10 definitely a satisfied customer ^_^
All of us were particularly surprised by the breakfast at the hotel. Compared to the states, this blows all of the regular continental breakfasts out of the water. There were a large variety of food items to choose from, a variety of drinks, and tons of different Vietnamese items to try. The che changes day to day so I highly recommend trying it out. You can also ask them to fill up your water container before you head out on your day!
Special shout out to Hằng as she kept track of our 4D3N itinerary and gave great advice on how to structure our trips. She helped us find restaurants that locals typically would go to as well as gave us a list of places in both Ha Noi and our next location (Hoi An) for us to refer to during our trip. We felt extremely well taken care of thanks to her and the rest of the hotel staff. We would easily stay again during our next trip to Ha Noi. Thanks so much!
We were able to make a reservation for the Halong Bay tour, which was very kind of them. There was a different menu for breakfast every day, and the bread, side dishes, and cakes were all delicious. The beds were made every day, so they were perfectly comfortable and I was able to enjoy each day without feeling tired. The bus for the Halong Bay tour came right in front of the hotel, and the staff guided me to the bus, so I was able to get on without getting lost. This was a very satisfying hotel from start to finish.

Dinner in the restaurant is also highly recommended, the dishes are all very tasty and attractively prepared and can also be brought to your room on request. The rooftop bar is also definitely worth a visit, but unfortunately you also pay for the fantastic view. The restaurant on the ground floor is much cheaper.
Technically everything was flawless, WiFi, air conditioning, shower etc. all worked perfectly, which is often worse in Germany.
Overall a perfect location to explore Hanoi. I would be happy to go back anytime!

I chose this hotel because I was having an event at their Moonlight rooftop bar. Since I was going to be in the old quarter I chose an Executive room as they are higher up and can drown out the noise of the motorbikes.
The room was cozy but nicely appointed. Note that the sink was outside of the bathroom. It was fine since I was alone but could be an issue for couples. Room had everything and plenty of sockets for my electronics. I was on the top floor (908) of the elevator and there was floor 10 and then the rooftop bar.
Fairly soundproofed but some nights I could hear the music of the bar but it was ok.
Great blackout drapes and nice rooftop views of the old quarter including a distant view of the Long Bien Bridge (Gustave Eiffel!)
Breakfast had a vast spread, appreciated the additional hot made to order meal (pho, omelettes, etc) and the special order coffee.Staff were nice specially Ms. Hang Pham who always remembered my name in the morning. She works way too hard and needs to have more days off in the week hahaha. Appreciated her conversations with me.
The Moonlight rooftop bar worked out fine for my event however contrary to the Twilight bar in Saigon, the Moonlight atmosphere was more hipster and music louder which actually didn't work for my event. It was hard to hear the clients so we needed to move elsewhere in town. Mind you if you want a skybar atmosphere, the Moonlight is for you. I needed something a little more chill like the Twilight. No points to take away but I could have spent way more money on the clients if I had a chill corner with lower volume. Rooftop views were great though! My housekeeper was very nice too, always made the room up quickly, replenished the supplies and ALWAYS said hello to me whenever she saw me. Only complaint I had was that the hotel only has one elevator, I took the stairs down many a time but it was fine as I needed the steps anyways due to all the bahn mis I was eating. Again, the hotel is smack in the heart of the crowds and energy of the old quarter and easily walkable to everything inlcuding the lake. Plenty of grab bikes to be found for longer distances. Thanks La Siesta Ma May for a nice stay, especially Ms Hang Pham (hope you get more days off for all the hard work you do) PS: the hotel has access to rent a motorbike to you, maybe next time I'll for sure rent one to go to Ba Vi National Park.
The location was good, so it was easy to get to famous places in the Old Quarter, and picking up the Ninh Binh tour was also easy.
All of the staff were friendly, and I was especially impressed with the response of my friend and my staff member, Hang Pham. They checked every day to see if there were any inconveniences while using it, and continued to care about us until the day we returned home! :)
The ability to store luggage and shower even after check-out was a huge advantage of this hotel, and no one seemed to be inconvenienced and willingly accommodated our requests.
Breakfast had a lot to eat and tasted good. I used room service and the hotel restaurant during my 3 nights, and the banh xeo was especially delicious. (It wasn't on the menu, but there was a sign in the hotel elevator, so I inquired at the restaurant and they made it for me)
The spa in the hotel was a bit more expensive than other massage shops, but it was the most satisfying of the four massages I received during my trip. It was so good that I regret not being able to tip the masseuse because it was the last day and I didn't have any cash!

Location is great, love the roof top bar & the Red Bean restaurant is exceptional. We ate there for both of our nights & chose the feast for 4 both times as it was so so good.
All staff were very friendly & helpful.
My only criticism were the towels provided in our room were small & thin .
Laundry service was good & reasonably priced.
We booked directly with the hotel & got money off food, beverages , spa & laundry as well as getting a good room price .
We loved this hotel and it completed the trio of La Siesta hotels we stayed in during our holiday in Vietnam.
The staff were so attentive the rooms were spotless with amenities second to none.
The furnishings traditional and very classy the towels soft and sparkling white the pillows and bed were so comfy it was like sleeping on a cloud after a busy day of sightseeing.
Considering this is a city hotel inside is a haven of tranquility our room had a beautiful balcony and a huge window and was so quiet we slept like logs.
The hotel restaurant served beautiful breakfasts and evening meals. On our first night we were lucky enough to have traditional Vietnamese musicians playing while we enjoyed our meal. A huge thank you to all the staff who were so very welcoming. A special mention to Hang who was amazing translating our special dietary needs on the phone so we could use the phrases on our days out.
We will definitely return in the future.
My wife and I went for our anniversary and I asked in the reservation if they could do something nice in the room, and they did! They put rose petals and a towel folded like a swan, it was so sweet.
The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are comfortable, the value is exceptional. This location is perfect too because it's just close enough to walk to the lake and everything else, and just far enough and around the corner not to hear the live night music on the weekends, if you're hoping to get to bed early for the next day's plans.
You have to book just for the friendliness of the staff alone, really! My wife and I truly treasure what a joy it was to interact with them. Make sure you try to learn a few common phrases such as hello, thank you, good morning, and how are you, I think it goes a long way to building a memorable rapport with the super kind people who work there.
I only have one tiny note and I won't even let it adjust my rating, as it appears to be a common thing in Hanoi hotels and not specific to this one: if you want a large bed, make sure to ask for one that is *one* mattress, not two mattresses put together! Hopefully as the hotels get more business they can afford to put full mattresses in all of their rooms, because the 2 mattresses put together strategy is not very comfortable. But they do indeed have rooms with full size mattresses, so just ask!
Breakfast had a lot of selections and the staffs were always happy and helpful with fulfilling special requests. The bartender on the first floor made some amazing cocktails with special attention to the tiniest of details.
Can't go wrong with choosing to stay here. Communication was never a problem. All the staffs were always carrying a smile and would go above and beyond to take care of any request. The girls and guys at the front desk seemed to drop everything just to answer our questions and always with a big smile. The spa was great for massages, went many times. The main person who would check me in, sorry that I forgot your name but she recommended a few restaurants and that's how we ended up eating cat fish ( cha ca) at a Michelin star place that did not appear on google maps. I don't like cat fish but this was something else that defied my preconceptions of cat fish.
Also special shoutout to Hang from front desk, always helpful, providing recommendations and lending an ear to hear our many questions. She saved us so much time with her knowledge of the area.
