We have had an incredible time at the San Palace Hotel! From the beginning the staff have been amazing and made our stay the best we could ask for. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived, special mention must go to Nam, Tracy and Lily who were all wonderful, always happy and welcoming and incredibly helpful with any questions we had. Nam and Tracy are who we met first with Nam greeting us at the taxi and taking our luggage to our room and Tracy greeted us at reception where we were offered a welcome drink and were informed about the hotel and handed information regarding places to see and go, as well as information on the hotel services. They were both so friendly and welcoming and our room was fantastic. On our second day we met Lily on reception, Lily provided us both with a SIM card each to use and also booked us in for our massages which we both thoroughly enjoyed!!

Any questions we asked were always answered really well and every staff member we met were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Before even arriving at the hotel we had been in contact to ask if they would be able to assist us with booking a taxi to collect us from the airport which they did and went very smoothly.

The breakfast each morning was very tasty and there was ample choice, I don't eat meat and there was plenty each day for me to enjoy. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar and small pool to cool down after a busy day sightseeing. We made good use of the special deals they have at this hotel, happy hour is 3 for 2 on drinks (I highly recommend the cocktails!) and between 9am-12pm there is a discount for massages too! Truly good value for money. We very much enjoyed our full body massages and both our masseuses were lovely.

The housekeeping staff were friendly and the hotel was spotless, we also made use of the laundry service as we had been travelling for some time and had accumulated a fair bit of laundry! The price was good value and the turnaround was very quick.

Our room was also fantastic, the size was good and the balcony was a great addition. We felt so relaxed and I really appreciated how comfortable the room was and I managed to catch up on some much needed sleep!

Location wise the hotel is perfect, everything was walking distance and we really enjoyed exploring Hanoi each day.

We thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel and if we are fortunate enough to be able to come back to Hanoi in the future we know where we will be staying!!

Thank you again to everyone for making our time in Hanoi so special, your hard work and dedication to providing an outstanding service to guests is faultless.

Best wishes for the future, Sarah and Dan.

Very nice hotel! The best service we experienced in Vietnam, travelling for a month. The room was nice and clean. We had to go back to Hanoi after we went on a cruise, and they even let us place our luggage there, even though we didnt have a room. The receptionist was very kind, and let us use the shower and even gave us a small package with mosquito spray etc. because she knew we were going to need it when going to Ha Giang. All in all amazing service, better than you could dream of! 10/10 fron here

Great hotel! Such a great value for money. The people are so lovely. Rooms are spacious enough and clean. The pool on the roof is a great way to cool off during the day or in the evening. Breakfast is great. Eggs made fresh per person. Highly recommend.

Small hotel near Hanoi Train Street. There are 3 rooms on each floor. Please do not stay at rooms with balcony as sound proofing isn’t good and you can hear honking through the night.

Breakfast area is small which can seat up to 12 people at any one time. Kudos to the staff as they are very warm and welcoming.

One of the best hotel experiences ever. So affordable to live like “royalty”. Visited with 2 best friends and shared a premium room, was perfect size and all of the amenities were great.

The best part of the hotel was the staff, I will genuinely miss them. Shout out to Lily and Daff. We were here for 4-5 nights and wanted to do a day trip to Nin Binh. We spoke to them about it and they gave us the best recommendation, and even packed us watermelon to take on the road.

Our flight back home was at midnight, so we paid a bit extra to check out at 4pm and they allowed us to use the facilities on rooftop and ground level while we waited. When we checked out, they printed photos for us from our trip to keep as memories, I nearly cried in happiness they are just the sweetest people ever.

Love love love 5/5 stars.

The staff is extremely polite and nice, they will make your day. Breakfast is great for the price and they have a bar and pool on the rooftop which is open 24/7. They even made special arrangements for us. Levi and the hotel manager charlie are extremely nice

Marvelous services from this small boutique styled hotel. Very personalized attendance from all the staff on our traveling needs within the old quarter. Special thank to Camellia, the cheerful receptionist who welcomed us, placed us in a quiet room and arranged for the transportation n making recommendations to the popular local cuisines . The hotel provide good breakfast despite its limited size . Will definitely stay again

Very nice hotel, the customer service went above and beyond to help us during our stay. All the staff were extremely helpful especially Lili who happily assisted us with any query we had. The hotel is in a very central location so it’s very easy to get around to the main attractions in Hanoi

This is the best value hotel I’ve stayed at near the old quarter. And I’ve stayed at a few in my visits to Hanoi! The service is the best I’ve experienced in Vietnam.

The staff are very friendly and really do their best - their English is a good standard for Hanoi. The premium balcony room is well worth any extra price you pay. Comfy bed and everything in the room works to a high standard. Breakfast is good quality and rooftop pool being 24hour is an added bonus. The only negative is the lack of a gym, although you get 24 hour access to a nearby hotel ‘gym’ it’s not got much in it.

I have to compliment the staff specifically for how they dealt with some abusive German guests that were being extremely rude to them and complaining about something utterly ridiculous (in my opinion). We all had to witnessed this during a breakfast time which was rather awkward. The receptionists were very patient and kind in the circumstances (I would personally kicked those guests out on the street if it was me!)
