The hostel is quite close to the old quarter which is a must visit on your trip to Hanoi. It is close to other places too in Hanoi like the Hoàn kiem lake, mausoleum, st. Joseph Cathedral

The check-in was smooth and easy. We had booked a room for the night for us. The front desk will ask to keep your passports as security or you can also pay a small fee of 100K VND towards security, we chose the later

The room was clean and had all the required aminities in place.

The hostel has lot of activities both inhouse and outdoor activity like pub hopping, excursions etc which can be availed via contacting the front desk

They have a Beer happy hour where you will get unlimited free beer for an hour every evening. The beer happy hour is concluded with a round of shots on the house 🍻

The bar is housed at the 8th floor and gives some good night time views of the city.

Taxi can be booked from the front desk for airport at reasonable rates and the staff was helpful with it

This hostel was very fun and lively. Good place to meet people who were all very friendly.
Staff were great, big shout out to Harleigh (I hope I remembered to spell it currently). Was a fantastic staff member who was always willing to give us some tips and advice and has some incredible stories to tell. Ask him about the poems.

All staff were pretty helpful and willing, they also now have the hostel puppy which obviously makes all the difference!

Food here is great, free breakfast and they do a pub crawl every night which is great fun, plus you get free beer.
The walking tour is great fun.

Rooms were cleaned everyday including the bathroom so very hygienic.

Great overall hostel

The location of the hostel was great and offered a wide range of free activities! The walking tour is a must, Lucy and Rosie were really good and bought laughter and a great buzz to the tour. The sky bar area is great also for a mingle.

Some of the reception and bar staff were very rude, before arriving we read that staff would be free to give their time to go through a map that they offer of the local area and what are must see's and do's. Upon doing this the young lad at reception just waved us off and said it was all written on the back... not the service we expected after great services from other hostels who offered the same along our way... Breakfast was also very average!

I had a really good time at this hostel! It’s a big place (8 floors) but doesn’t really feel it. The beds are ridiculously comfortable with a big duvet and AC. The shower are hot and soothing, and with free beers at night, free pub crawl and free breakfast you can’t really go wrong. This is a true backpacker hostel. The staff are a riot and make you feel at home, and they really give you a sense of the place with the free walking tour. I made life long friends on that tour and Cave and Jack were a huge riot and a massive help, they deserve mad props. Overall great experience. I’ll be back!

This hostel had one of the comfiest beds and pillows I encountered at a hostel while in Asia. I arrived exhausted and late on a friday evening, went upstairs to the bar to see what it was like, and it was a very young party crowd. They were selling balloons at the bar prepping for a bar crawl and you could hear the music billowing down the stair case from the 8th floor roof in the lobby. The social scene was too young for me. However, the music did completely stop at 11 pm.

The hostel did offer a free walking tour the next day with a hilarious and adorable tour guide, a free breakfast, great location, and very comfortable beds.

Depends on what you're looking for to whether this hostel would be a good fit or not.

Stayed here 3-4 days on separate occasions while making the trip to Ha Long Bay and Ha Giang. 10/10 would recommend... staff are great and super helpful, plus a ton of convenient services like 24 hr laundry wash & fold, bus tickets and organized tours. Oh and did i mention the beds are super comfortable?? Stop reading and book your stay before they fill up :)

P.S. went on the Hideaway Island tour (near Cat Ba / Ha Long Bay)... was a great experience as you get to stay on a private island and enjoy the amazing scenery with new friends. Btw there is a single monkey that somehow ended up on Hideaway Island... be careful or he will drink your beer when youre not looking!

Just wanted to say thought this was a great little place to spend a couple of days before catching my flight onward. Morning buffet nice, good bread and catering for vegetarian and vegans a like as well as you omnivores out there. Took part in the free walking tour which is what caused me to pick this hostel in the first place and had a great laugh being led by our great and fearless leader Jack (for those of you new to Asia you'll see what I mean when being taught how to cross a road properly haha). Granted a few places were closed but nothing he could do about that but still allowed us to see where all the places are should we wish to visit again in our own time and includes a lot of extra stop offs then you'd think. Great experience. Thanks Jack.

Good hostel with basic amenities in the heart of the Old Quarter. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Free beer every evening was great for meeting other travelers.

Our highlight was definitely the walking tour led by Alex Cave. He was joined by Alex and Lucy and as a whole they were a fantastic team. They showed us all the highlights in the area, introduced us to locals and gave amazing tips on how to spend the rest of our time in Hanoi. Would highly recommend joining this tour to everyone.
