After three weeks travelling across Vietnam I did not expect the hotel that will receive top marks from me)) This one was outstanding! It is located close to all sights in the Old Quarter. This is a very old and busy area with crazy traffic. BUT the moment you step into the stylish lobby you are sheltered from all the street noise. The rooms are fresh, well equiped, sparkling clean with crisp linen. The internet never had cause for complaints. The breakfast was plenty. The stuff makes your feel genuinely welcome and cared for. They give you "survival" tips and take your temperature) As a sole traveller I felt very safe and cared for. Thank you so much.

I highly recommend the Babylon Premium Hotel. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. They also have good recommendations for activities to do while in Hanoi. Breakfast is great with delicious local cuisine. The rooms were very clean and comfortable to stay in. Comfy beds also made for a good nights sleep. I also liked how the shampoo and soap bottles were cleaned and reused helping look after our environment.

Stayed in this brand new hotel for 14 days until the 6 1.20. It is the chain's newest 4-star hotel and everything was just fantastic. Henry and his team are wonderful from the moment one checks in, during the days, and when one leaves the hotel. The rooms are tastefully furnished, the breakfast and its staff from the kitchen to the service are excellent. The location in the Old Quarter is buzzing with activities during the day but quiet during the night. The lake is within a 8 minutes stroll and other areas and sights are either within easy walking distance or by cyclo for max 100,000 Dong. I will most certainly stay there again when I return to Hanoi mid 2020. Courtesy car picked me up from the airport and dropped me off to. Furthermore, great trips were organised by the hotel - I highly recommend that service!!!

I stayed here for 4 nights with my partner in February of 2020.
First things first the hotel is brand new, therefore everything is in very good condition and the hotel is kept very clean and tidy. It is a very modern hotel with a very stylish theme.
Everything in the rooms are very high quality. From the doors to the beds it is clear they spent alot of money, and did not cut any corners when building and designing the hotel.
The breakfast was very good. High quality food and lots of choice. Rose couldn't do enough to make sure we were well fed and happy with our breakfast. They have the buffet and they also offer to cook you other items fresh for you. The pancakes and fried noodles are very tasty. My partner also said the egg was very good.
The rooms are very spacious and well designed. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is also very good. They give you complimentary water, crisps and crackers everyday which is a nice touch. The TV's are smart TVs which is nice for watching netflix.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We had some problems getting our transfer, and the reception staff were very eager to assist us by calling the bus and trying to sort it for us, even though we booked it privately.
I have to mention how amazing the hotel manager Henry was. He greeted us when we checked in and told us about what to go see in Hanoi, what was popular with tourists and what to go see when we were here. He showed us to our room and because there was a better room spare (and maybe because he liked us so much) he gave us a free upgrade to a even nicer room. This was very kind of him as it made our stay even better. Every day he spoke to us by name and was very friendly in making our stay as comfortable as possible.
I would recommend this hotel even if it was terrible because the staff are so good. However, the hotel is fantastic just like the staff.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Hanoi. It's in a great location. You can walk to all the landmarks around Hanoi from here. There is also plenty of bars and restaurants nearby as well as some really good markets.
Hopefully I travel to Hanoi again as I will be staying here.

Had a chance to stay at this amazing hotel in Old Quarter Hanoi for 3 nights and it was beyond our expectation. The location is great, walkable distance from pretty much every highlight in Hanoi, the Hoan Kiem lake, Beer corner, Bus stops (from and to the airport). The staffs are very very nice, friendly and attentive and polite, with positive vibe and service mind. 10/10 would come back to visit when we have another chance to visit Hanoi.

As a Swiss family who travels a lot, we have high expectations and a rather critical opinion.
Well, the Babylon Premium Hotel is really great, at a reasonable price. Extremely well located in the center of Hanoi's old quarter, this hotel is close to everything (look on Gooxxx Map). We had a large, spacious and very clean family room for 5 people (2 adults, 2 teenagers and an 8-year-old child) on the 2nd floor. Virtually no noise from the side street in the evening, so sleep was no problem. Exceptional quality of bedding. Impeccably clean bedroom and large bathroom with shower and bathtub. Small extra fridge in room.
I agree with many of the previous glowing comments on TripAdv: the staff are simply fantastic, attentive, welcoming and dedicated. They arranged for us to be picked up on arrival at the airport (300K VND) as well as the possibility of keeping our luggage on the last day and taking a shower for all our family before taking a night train at 22:00 to Sapa. And for those who hesitate with another hotels with rooftops (this one doesn't have one), there's nothing to stop you having a drink at sunset on one of the many other rooftops in nearby hotels (which we did 2 evenings in a row), but it's not necessarily better, and for sure it will be more expensive. As for the lack of a swimming pool, we didn't think it was necessary during our stay, as we were only staying one night in Hanoi and will have the opportunity to have plenty more during our trip to Asia (the pools in the other hotels in Hanoi are small, despite the misleading wide-angle pictures).
In short, a hotel that richly deserves to climb even higher in the Hanoi hotel rankings. I unreservedly recommend it. Don't hesitate (by the way, the photos on TripAdv should help convince you).

We stayed here just as Covid-19 started in Hanoi. The hotel staff were quick and accurate in their information to us about what risks there were, and when two men had to be tested for the virus (negative, thank god!) they immediately moved us to their sister hotel. As we were away on a day trip on that day, they packed up everything in the room and it met us in the other hotel as we arrived there. They could not have been more friendly or helpful, and our experience throughout the entire stay was fantastic. The hotel rooms were amazing, clean, stylish, and the location of both hotels were also great - super close to the lake, perfectly positioned in the Old Quarter, and the staff were helpful in suggesting things to see and places to eat. The breakfast was also super. Will return in the future for sure!

We absolutely loved our 6 days at the Babylon Hotel, the staff are so efficient and helpful. We arrived early in the morning after flying all night, they gave us breakfast and we were allowed to check in early. They helped us with money exchange, booking tours. We highly recommended this hotel, it’s also very central to everything. One more thing a very very big thank you to Rose at breakfast time. Everyday day greeting us with a big smile 🤗

We had such a wonderful experience staying here. A shuttle from the airport was arranged on arrival by the hotel, and we were warmly welcomed by exceptional staff. We ended up referring to the hotel as 'Home', so much so, that we rebooked here after venturing to Sa Pa. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place. Great location. The room was a bit small, however considering that all of the buildings are really narrow in Hanoi, that is understandable. The room was tidy and clean, cleaned everyday, check in was fast. Housekeeping was also on top of their responsibilities, we had an issue with clocking of the toilet which was resolved in a really quick manner. Breakfast was also nice, wide selection, and you could also get different dishes in an a la cart way e.g. pho soup. We also received breakfast box for our departure day as we had to leave really early. The hotel organised two trips for us, Halong bay tour and Ninh binh tour, both of them were great. Staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, especially Tony. Would recommend this hotel to stay at in Hanoi.
