My family spent our entire stay in Hanoi at this lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the old quarters during the Christmas holiday. With the locations of some of the western hotel brands a bit too inconvenient for us, we found this gem. We were initially a bit wary that it had so few reviews but found out that it was a new hotel, which explained the relative low number of reviews. We’re glad we decided to book and stay for five nights.

We booked a junior suite but was initially a little bit disappointed at the size since we kind of expected another room. I guess their meaning of a junior suite is that it’s a bit larger than their standard rooms. But we quickly got over it and fell in love with the room. The shower stall had a little bit of mildew/mold which I found a bit interesting since it was a new hotel but got over that as well. The weather in Hanoi the week we were there was rainy, cool, and humid so the room constantly felt damp. But the air conditioner worked great when we turned it on.

The staff was very professional and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They convinced us to do at least a one-day tour of halong bay (we weren’t sure we wanted to do it with a 3-year old at first); they arranged the perfect tour package and we totally but would have regretted not going. They made reservations for us and got cabs for us. The breakfast was pretty good, although we didn’t eat a lot of the local dishes. But we ate the delicious beef pho every morning before we started our daily activities. They arranged for us to have a late check-out so that we could pack and have one last morning in the old quarter before heading to the airport for a flight down to Ho Chi Minh City that afternoon. We took their hotel private car to the airport; a little bit steep ($18 one way) but worth the convenience.

All in all, a wonderful stay and would totally recommend it for anyone looking for a boutique hotel in a very convenient location!

This is a small boutique hotel in the old quarter, walking distance to the lake and lots of restaurants/bars/shops. The hotel itself does not have a restaurant other than for breakfast but there are many places to eat nearby and the staff even ordered take out for our kids one night because they were too tired to go out! The rooms are very comfortable. We had the King suite and it was very nicely decorated, spacious, and very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a great place to stay in Hanoi old quarter.

I search a lot, to find the perfect spot for my 4 day Hanoi trip. I always read a lot of reviews too. The decor of this place stole my heart at first glance and since the reviews were good toI I booked my stay. I was traveling solo and I’m extremely happy with this hotel:). I made a mistake to order a deluxe room with 2 beds and they were very kind and change the room for me to another room where there was one queen bed, I really appreciated that. It’s a quite new hotel and all the pics on the site is represents reality! The decor the staff the breakfast and the location is fantastic! Everybody who works here is really helpful as smiley. It was easy for tours and grabs to find the place and when I wanted to stroll around it was plenty of coffees, stores, massage places around and the night market is really close too.
The room service was excellent too, they made up the room every day like I was just checking in:) it was nice to get back after a long day to a “brand new room” every single day. I plan to come back this year and I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended it! Thank you Grande Collection!

Wide range of breakfast choices, delicious food and very accommodating, friendly staff. Location is great, near most restaurants and key attractions like Hoan Kiem Lake, Beer Street and Train Street. A few minute walking distance to local coffee, souvenir and massage shops. I’d give the hotel’s location a 10/10. But as for the cleanliness of the room, I’d rate it a 4/10. The moment we checked in to our room I was sneezing and coughing a lot. I opened the light and already saw reflections of dust flying around. I looked around and noticed big clumps of dust behind the table and tv area, on the table lamp and also behind the wall decorations which is above our bed headrests. There was also a left behind foot sock inside the cabinet. An opened empty pack of green tea on our coffee table. A guest’s airline boarding pass tucked inside the room booklet. Meaning the housekeeping does not pay attention in tidying up the room and checking the items inside the cabinets, fridge, etc. The bed is soft but squeaky. Pillows are soft and clean. The light inside the cabinet is broken so we had to use flashlight to see inside because the cabinet itself is black and the light inside the room is dim, plus the walls are dark green so it’s kind of hard to see because the ambiance inside is overall dark. The bidet water pressure was too strong and kind of hurts you when you use it. The bath towels are obviously old because they are already grey in color. Hotel lobby has a unique and inviting style. We booked a wrong checkout date so the housekeeping packed our stuff and put them in their storage. We came back from a full day tour and found out all our stuff was already packed. The staff was kind enough to check an availability for extension of stay and we got the same room, then transfer to a city view room the next day for a fair cheap price. We unpacked our things and they were all packed nicely, in individual plastic bags to separate bath items, clothes, personal items. No items were missing. Staff are accommodating and fluent in english. They give you tips on where to go and already anticipates your needs, like when we checked out they already offered an airport transfer and offered to have our luggage left with them so we can walk around outside first before we head to the airport. Overall the stay was nice, just needs to improve on the cleanliness.

We stayed here as a treat for one evening. The location is great, walking distance to most places and plenty of restaurants and bars around. We stayed in the junior suite with a balcony on the 6th floor, largely the sound proofing worked as its a busy street.
The decor of the hotel and room was lush, such a comfy bed and very clean.
The breakfast exceeded expectations, great selection and the option of cooked eggs.
All the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Only downside was not being able to pay in advance, so we got hit by the bank charges for using our card as well as my bank card fees for being abroad.

The Grande Collection Hotel & Spa in Hanoi boasts an excellent location that provides easy access to various attractions.

The staff members are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. Although the absence of a swimming pool may disappoint some guests, the positives of the hotel manage to overshadow this.

However, for vegetarian guests, the breakfast options may not be as satisfying, lacking variety and quality.

Despite encountering ants in the room, the hotel's overall performance in that area remains commendable.

The standout feature of this establishment is undoubtedly its convenient location, which offers proximity to a range of amenities and attractions, making it a practical choice for travelers.

This hotel had helpful staff, a very nice breakfast with buffet and to order eggs as well. The bed was very comfortable and the room is set with an A/C and heater. We used the heater as it was cold weather. They also helped us organize tours and a ride to Halong Bay.

This boutique hotel is tucked away a little from the most busiest area in the Old Quarter yet able to reach by a short walk. The staff here are very friendly and spoke great English so feel free to ask them about recommendations of things to do around town. Got the junior suite this time which is located on higher floor with its own balcony. The room and balcony are both spacious. Breakfast area is comfortable and the small yet adequate breakfast items will well prepare you for the day. The spa does not have individual rooms and the beds are divided by curtains if you are particular. Luckily there was no one else at the same time so got the place to myself. Spa lady is very kind and professional. Book with the reception to get an in-house guest special. Overall this is a great place and would recommend it!

My family and I with 7 pax, including children tremendously enjoyed our stay at Grande Hotel Collection & Spa at 46-48 Bắt sự. The hotel is located at a very convenient location. The hotel manager and service staff were awesome. I did a lot of research and readings on the various reviews of other hotels but decided to book one with Grande Collection Hotel and Spa at 46-48 Bắt Sự. Mỹ rating for the hotel will be 5.0/5.0. A special shout out to David, and Stella, they were so hospitable and friendly, right from the 1st day we’ve arrived at hotel. They prepared and had a room ready for us to check in first even though we were early by about 1.5 hrs.

The cleanliness is great as well. The breakfast spread was superb, and the food were yummy. A good start to our day tours. David even introduced us some local tours which the hotel could also arrange, and gave a discount for me and family.

The hotel is walking distance to the night market and the many nice eateries nearby.

We definitely will recommend this hotel to our friends or if we visit Hanoi again!

We wish the hotel staff an advance festive greetings this season may bring and a happy new year!
