You will find a touch of Marriott all around this Slick hotel be it Marble, Bathroom amenities, fittings, mattress, pillows, Water in large size bathroom is very soft warm and soothing, I didn't have time to use the beautiful Tub inside the bathroom. The mirror has a touch control power button which is unique. Air-con has heater upto 30º which is an added benefit. Room are 100% noise free though the hustle and bustle happening just outside your full size window. The curtains are fully blackout. Breakfast spread is good and all staff with beautiful smile and always ready to assist, The moment you touch the lobby level everyone stand-up giving you a king like gesture, though not required but welcoming, Very modern, very clean, very conveniently located around old quarter, 200 meter from rail track, every city tourist spots are well within walkable distance, even if you drop down from airport shuttle bus at Hanoi railway station the hotel is exactly 700 meter away and a very comfortable and soothing evening walk will lead you to this hotel which is right on the junction. Many delicious local food restaurants are at stone throw distance. The currency exchange shops are very very near and the hotel staff will leave no stone unturned to guide you. There is a convenience store next store and Gurdian. You must be wondering why I am giving 4* with so much of sweet tongue, Read below the cons

1. I stayed at Suite room, the most expensive one for 4 nights and asked for late check out at 2pm which was turned down while no guest were about to check in. I was allowed only upto 12:30 pm. (BTW thanks for 30 minutes consideration and your waving off hands coming out of hotel lobby on my departure was a very personalised touch)
2. There is no 5X vanity mirror at Bathroom which was a let down for me.
3. The room & balcony was smaller than shown in picture (Though The bathroom was huge)

I will come back again to this hotel for sure, and my 4* was just an indication that in hospitality and service industry there is always scope for improvement .

Dear Mr. MansurM148, 'Xin chào' from Soleil Boutique Hotel Hanoi! First of all, we would like to thank you very much for choosing Soleil as your accomodation during time in Hanoi city. It was our great pleasure to serve you as our guests. From our deepest mind, we understand that Soleil is still just a newbie during hundreds of hotel. Regarding the late check out issue that mentioned above, we knew you had a long stay with us and we really wished to give you more time to stay in the room until the departure time. This hotel is in the middle of bustling Hanoi. It has a great location as it's practically walking distance to a lot of the interesting parts of Hanoi's tourist districts. The rooms are small but it's not like you came to Hanoi to hang in your hotel room, right?

The minute you enter this hotel, you'll feel like you're in an enclave of peace. Somehow, their construction is solid enough that they're able to block out most of the traffic from Hanoi. The rooms are a little less sound-resistant but open a window and you're quickly realize how much noise pollution is NOT making it in.

The hotel staff was very helpful and they did an honest job of trying to make our stay a memorable one. The receptionist pointed us to some great, authentic restaurants. I couldn't find a post box to mail some letters and post cards and left them with the receptionist and they were able to promptly drop them off the following business day. The staff was attentive and there to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

The only improvement or tip that I would say is that the deposit is held in cash and there's no mention of this in advance. This posed a problem because now we were leaving with Vietnam with an extra 500K VND and literally no time to spend it - and we could have used this cash during our stay for shopping and eating.

If you are looking at Vietnam hotels, look no further. We booked on booking.com and paid $50/night. This hotel gives impeccable service. They always open the door for you and stand as you enter to welcome you. They put out a nice thing on the bed for my wife and I on our honeymoon and hand delivered a cake for her birthday when we were in the room. The hotel was very clean and all the water was clean too. We got water everyday, the snacks in the mini bar were cheap, and the location was close to everything in old town. Ms Chloe was so helpful over email as well when we wanted to book a massage and asked them to help us in the room while we were gone for the day. We felt safe and taken care of the whole time.

Don’t try to go cheap and just book here!

Amazing service.
I was pleasantly surprised by the helpful nature of all the receptionists who went out of their way to help us book the best day tour packages within our budget.
We had go check out at 6am and even though we had only mentioned a sandwich upon request the receptionist had kept our breakfast ready with multiple options.
On top of this the location is right in the heart of Hanoi.
Loved every aspect of our stay here

Soleil hotel was a great place to stay in Hanoi, My partner and I stayed from 4th to 11th June 2023 and really enjoyed the service and hospitality of the kind staff at Soleil. On arrival we were greeted by one of our favourite’s Mia, who went out of her way to helps us with anything we needed while at the hotel. Including advise on food and activities near by, we connected with her on WhatsApp so it was easy to communicate if we were out of the hotel for the day. The staff helped us book night buses to SAPA and our other favourite staff member Luis let us in at 5am after we returned from Sapa which is even early for the Vietnamese who seem to start there day at 5.30 am. The hotel room we stayed in 301 was small but provided a great shower and bathroom plus a very comfortable bed and pillows (need to find out where they buy their pillows) to rest in in the middle of the hot day or after a long night. Soleil is located about a 10 minute walk from the heart of the busiest part of old quarter bia corner. The room had a skylight window which allowed the natural light to filter in but kept out the busy street noise. We really enjoyed our stay at Soleil boutique and would stay again if we travel to Hanoi in future.

My first time in Vietnam, solo travelling, I chose Soleil boutique hotel as it has good reviews. I enjoyed my stay, the hotel is clean, the room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the TV had Netflix, which was great for my jet lag!
The breakfast is good, different choice. They have a rooftop bar with great views of Hanoi and the swimming pool. The cocktail was good and super pretty!
The location is great, 8 mn walk to the lake, lots of cafes around and very easy to get to anywhere.
Sandy was very helpful, I requested early check in and late check out (you have to pay a percentage of the room rate) but we’ll worth it when waiting on international flight ☺️

The room and bed were very comfortable and there was minimal noise from the busy streets below. The room and bathroom are spacious. There is a bathtub and shower. The hotel is in a central location within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. I had two separate one night stays without sufficient time to enjoy the rooftop, pool or gym. We did eat at the breakfast buffet and it was abundant and good quality. Eggs were made to order, the baguettes were fresh, and the fruit was ripe and sweet. There are Asian and Western breakfast items. I enjoyed fresh cut passion fruit each morning. My husband enjoyed pho each morning. Our friends, who are vegetarian, had special fried rice and noodles prepared without meat.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay here. I give this hotel 5 stars since all our expectations were met. Beds were comfy, A/C worked well, shower was hot and strong, breakfast was good and varied (Western
and Asian options), staff was welcoming and professional, and the location was walkable to the Old Quarter but in a slightly quieter area. The hotel is fairly new and beautiful in a modern, French style with a definite small, boutique feel. The tiny rooftop bar area is adorable and we felt comfortable leaving our pre-teen kid in the room by himself while we went upstairs for a nightcap with a view. We had a Suite Balcony room and it was surprisingly spacious even with the extra bed for our kid added. The bathroom doors are frosted glass so if you have older kids it’s not 100% private but for us was fine. I would stay here again.

I stayed at Soleil Boutique Hotel in June and arrived really early after a long flight from London. I was upgraded on arrival and allowed to check in early.

From the moment we arrived the staff were fantastic. Sandy in particular was exceptional. She helped us get a grab taxi through Whatsapp and greeted us at the hotel. She explained the surrounding areas and where to get the best Bun Cha (a must try in Hanoi). All the reception staff were great and always smiling and helpful.

The beds are extremely comfortable and the air conditioning is perfect after being outside in the heat. The hotel's rooftop pool and bar are brilliant with great views of the city. The hotel is a 3 minute walk away from Hanoi train street and is surrounded with good restaurants and cafes.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked another night before we left Vietnam. With 11 hours after checkout until we left for the airport, we were allowed to use the pool and rooftop and have a shower before leaving. This was perfect for us and allowed us to enjoy our last afternoon in Hanoi.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi and i'll definitely stay again. Thanks to Sandy and all the staff for a memorable trip!

Had a very bad experience in another hotel in Hanoi and saw this on online.

Decided to pay a bit extra and found this, first of all room standards are a very high spec and spacious. The breakfast, as an Irishman I always am very used to being disappointed by any form of breakfast at hotels abroad. The spread for breakfast at this hotel was great, some really unique options that tasted amazing. One of those great breakfast experiences where you only need to include a light lunch to your budget for the rest of your day.

Beds are very comfortable and the noise is non-existent which is very rare in Hanoi.

The staff even helped me send a postcard back to Ireland, god only knows where that is now.
