Schoon, behulpzaam, goed ontbijt. Prima prijs kwaliteit. Het was mogelijk om een 3 persoonskamer te regelen en medicatie kon koel worden bewaard. wij vonden de ligging in een volksbuurt heel leuk. Veel te zien en prima restaurantjes in de buurt op de weg langs de rivier.
We arrived at the riverside boutique hotel at 3am like planned, we had already sent an email to the staff to inform them that we will be checking in very late. We were looking forward to sleeping in our superior room, the largest room they have available. When we arrived the clerk at the desk was sleeping, we woke him up and gave him our passports. He looked really confused. Apparently we didn't have a room. After some google translate he finally gave us a room.. we went upstairs to find that it wasn't the room that we had booked, it was the smallest and cheapest room. My husband went back downstairs to find out why we were given the wrong room. After half an hour I went to check what was happening. Because the clerk couldn't speak English he couldn't understand what was the problem. He told us to go upstairs and wait for the manager 2 hours later. He told us to go and take a rest. Now keep in mind we just flew overnight to get to vietnam from Japan. We were in the room taking a rest, I couldn't really sleep as it wasn't really our room. At 6am men and women were outside our door talking loudly and running / stomping around. I hope this doesn't happen every morning because it was really horrible. We went down at 6:30 to meet the manager he seemed much more helpful. We were told again that they had none of our room, which means they gave our room to someone else. The manager had to call his boss (maybe) to keep asking what to do, my husband kept calling them on their lies and seems like they didn't really have any answer, just they stuffed up and still expected us to pay the full price. Remember at this point we haven't even put a foot inside the room which we booked and they still expected us to pay for 2 full nights of the expensive room. We are waiting again from 6:30 - 8am for the next manager to come to sort this out. We haven't slept and we are super grumpy and upset at this point. The manager came at 8:30. He didn't say sorry. He said the superior was the smallest room, but by the Agoda site it was the largest. Finally after more than 5 hours he gave us the first night free which is right because we didn't even have a room and we paid for the one night only. He asked for paying later but my husband wanted to pay now. Giving him exact money which I saw was right they later asked one more dollar saying that he didn't give him enough. LOL Yeah enjoy your $1 scam money. So far my impression of this hotel is bad. After them saying please wait 30 mins to clean and then having to wait another 10 mins .. finally we went to our room. FINALLY. We had planned to go out around 10am that morning but because it was already 10am by the time we got our room.. we decided to sleep since we hadn't slept yet. The room was the one we booked but it smelt weird in the room and in the bathroom. The room wasn't properly sealed I think because after sleeping that night I woke up cold and feeling sick. (Sore throat/runny nose) This hotel has been the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.. We are currently on our honeymoon and I feel that this experience really upset my mood. I would never recommend this hotel and I would never go there again. Thankyou for reading this.…
