This is a large multi-storey hotel finished in a boutique, minimalist style and occupying a good location close to the night market, bars and a selection of places to eat.

Our room was clean with a large fridge and a safe, finished in "lime wash". Wifi was fine.

On arrival we were taken to our room but had to get staff back 3 times - once to replace batteries in the air conditioning remote control, then to replace batteries in the safe, and finally to fix a problem with the safe. Although these were rectified quickly, we felt these things should have been checked in advance.

Breakfast was cooked to order from a menu plus a rather limited help yourself buffet (the orange juice tasted "off").

Overall, although there was nothing significantly wrong with the hotel (and it would be unfair to score it "average") we would not particularly recommend it for the price.

Reached hotel around 1.30am on 7 Mar 2020. Front desk staff are friendly. Whenever they see me coming back to hotel, they will greet and hold the door for me. Even the cleaning lady will rush to open the access door to lift when they saw me with the shopping bags.
Room is clean, toilet clean. Was recommended by my friend to book this hotel.
Location wise is pretty good, walking distance to pratunam market, erawan shrine, central world, big C.
The hotel even provides recycle bag for tourist (most of the shoppong centres including 7-11 have stop giving the plastic bag when u shop).
There are portable powerbank on loan too.

We first noticed this hotel in Jan 2020 before Covid 19 pandemic. Decided to book this hotel for this 5 days 4 nights trip as it is also SHA plus hotel. Hotel property surrounding is well managed and maintained. Staffs are friendly and experienced. Speak good English. Collected a refundable cash deposit 1000 Baht. We were allocated a corner room King bed and a balcony (Balcony is a separate non aircon room with open view). Quiet room and comfy bed. Comes with kettle, hair dryer, toiletries but no hand soap and tissue box. Pls get your own hand soap and tissue from the 7 eleven beside hotel. Room was clean and neat. Aircon powerful. shower was small but enough for an average size person. We had some issue with the TV. Cable TV can access Nextflix and Youtube. Don't have soccer channels. If you are going to watch Movies or other channels, need to subscribe. We requested for extra pillows and adapters. Housekeeping fast to response, we got it shortly. Hotel location is fantastic. Many cheap and good Massage along the road to the Main road facing Platinum Mall and also the road to Pratunam Market. Small andbusy roads with many tuk tuk and taxis coming from both sides. Careful when walking at the side of roads. Hotel provide book in advance Taxi to airport as well. Big 7 Eleven beside hotel. You can get anything from there. We did not eat hotel breakfast. There are many local foods at Pratunam market with dine in options. Overall, it was a pleasant stay except for the tv issue.

I did not actually stay at Lemontea Hotel. I had booked it as a sandbox hotel for January 2022. As you will know Thailand changed the sandbox rules in December 2021 and you can only quarantine in Bangkok. Lemontea is not a quarantine hotel. We changed our plans and have now booked a Phuket sandbox hotel. We asked Lemontea to cancel our reservation and they refunded the money on the same day. Khun Lily is a great person and the next time I am in Bangkok will definitely stay there.

This little best hotel in Bangkok was absolutely amazing. We arrived and was delighted by Ae at reception with a cup of lemontea and awesome serbice.
The hotel is located right next to pratunam market in the Bangkok shopping district.
The rooms and attention to detail is really good, with even the shower gell and shampoo having a lemontea smell!
Definitely the place to stay when in Bangkok.

I found Lemontea hotel while I was looking a a SHA hotel to stay.

As one of Thai government requirements for all travel who come to Thailand, they need to stay in one of SHA hotels on the first day of arrival while waiting for the covid_19 test result to comeback.

SHA hotels are the hotel that have been certified by Thai government that they will follow all the rule and regulations that Thai government requires , regarding covid-19 protocols. And Lemon tea hotel surly live up to this Standard.

Not only they were very helpful during the booking process but also professional, friendly, very clean and safe during my entire staying.

Plus the hotel is located at the heart of Bangkok. It’s such a great location. It’s so easy and convenient to travel to anywhere fro
Thai location.

I can not recommend Lemon tea hotel enough for anyone who is looking for in a SHA hotel in Bangkok.

The room was spacious enough for 2 adults. It has a balcony too. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast choices are limited.. U can toast your bread and there's sandwiches. U can also order 1 choice of breakfast set. I had a nice stay and would definitely return. Oh the hotel is walking distance to mrt Station and to the morning Market.

We did pay visit to Bangkok many times for visit friends and holiday previously. This is the one & only TERRIBLE experience had over our bottom line.

- different room type of full paid booking
- no customer service
- messy arrangement
- creepy room
- Wifi always failure
- No kettle, toothbrush & toothpaste provided
- Far from train station

We had booked and paid for 2 nights stay. When we check in, reception was unable to provide TWIN BED room which as our booking which had been fully paid. However, we try to show printed booking slip and highlighted to her. They failed to provide any solution but just mentioned that the day had been fully booked and many guests. Seem this is our fault to choose and stay in this most popular hotel in Bangkok, huh?! They just show us poker face; whether we accept the double room type or NOT is none of their business. Furthermore NO apologies from the reception staffs too.

With no choice we forced to stay in double room for first night. For the next day we try our luck to request a TWIN room as booked. The reception staff told that TWIN room is available on the second day; but… yes, it is with term & conditions. Only if we accept and stay in double room same floor which lower floor with no view at first night; the reason is for them easy and more convenience to shift our luggage on the next day. For god sake, we tolerant those arrangement as all luggage will be packed and leave in the room plus return room key on morning session. Oops! This is just s starter, nightmare never end.

When the staff guides us to the room, he had knocked the door before entering the room. Not only this room and this time, they practice the same on the next day for our second room. As we knew this is a way to avoid spirit when staying in hotel even we are both atheist.

The room is small units flat around 300sq meter with a back door exist to balcony area with washing basin and air-conditioner compressor. This is an unusual structure as in hotel room and both doors are classic manual key lock. It more as university dorm or self-service apartment and below hotel standard. All lightings in room are warm colour; except only white light in bath room. The dresser is next to the wardrobes and behind the door without lighting. This is not user friendly at all; plus with no option and only able to do reading and writing in bath room. Frankly speaking, sleep quality is awful, the wall deco is dusty and WiFi is always failure. Hence uncomfortable to stay in room as horror film atmosphere, both of us most spend time at outside and 7-11 next door. God bless that the location is not bad and near to Pratunam market as still crowded till mid night.

The next morning, during we handover the room key to reception staff; we had tried our best to remind them for the TWIN room arrangement. The 1st answer is no such arrangement; upon recheck and recheck again. The TWIN room had been confirmed, but… yes, this is another nightmare. The staff was informed us to move down all luggage to concierge area and check in again to the opposite room which same floor by ourselves at 2pm. Yes, obviously we are strong enough and too free to shift all luggages for a hotel concierge tour. Extremely despiteful arrangement as two rooms is only less than 3 steps distance. Anyway, we have no choice but to accept unless to squander more and more holiday time on it. This hotel ONLY try defraud you to book in afterward aside the guests.

Totally regretted booking this hotel and not recommended, absolutely overrated! Once book, nightmare will begin with no ending.

- Enquired about airport transfer, was quoted 1100B! I assumed Lemontea will provide a full limo service with champagne for such exorbitant rate, since a comfortable metered public cab to Pratunam costs about 300 baht. A sincere hotel owner wouldn't go all out to do such mark ups, imho.
- Lemon tea upon arrival? No such service during my check in.
- No toothbrush/paste.
- Deposit of 1000baht for room key. Again, it's all about money, I guess.
- Called front desk to check for availability for late check out on the morning of 23 May. Male staff replied sarcastically, "Late check out? Can.... at 1000B." 1st, room is clearly available (if not he would have rejected the request). All other hotels I've been to extend checkout hours out of goodwill. Again, going all out to get your $$. 2nd, does he need to be so sarcastic?
- One of our cabin bag's zip came off completely while packing, we asked for stationery clips from front desk to help tide through the day as we need to rush to the airport and have no time to source from outside. Female staff in ponytail reluctantly gave us 3 miserable clips after much pleading. When we returned from the last day's activity to pick up our luggage, male staff took them away again. As we're really short of time, we offered to buy 3 paper clips at 50B, but female staff blatantly accused us of already keeping the earlier 3 clips, and cannot help us any more! Seriously, such efforts to deny help, over 3 clips!! The unwillingness to help really contradicts all other reviews we read about this hotel. As we need to rush for flight, we can't be bothered to enter a debate with her and went ahead to the airport. Because we had to go round finding the clips to zip up our bag, we almost missed our flight

So unless you are sure to avoid speaking to their staff to ruin your trip, you should seriously consider putting up at some other nicer hotels. White Palace, a stone’s throw away, offered at half their rate with less agony on your pocket and holiday
