Okay hotel for its reasonable rates and Silom location. Had its 2 star moments. Does not pretend to be a fancy 4 star establishment like some places. The room was a bit dated, especially noticed by the stained carpet and some of the worn fittings. It was however a large room with good rain shower and separate bath tub. Large firm bed (bit too firm for me). Fair bit of storage space and I made use of the iron. Good selection of tv channels. Toothbrushes, cotton buds, soap, shower cap provided.
There was a notice that room service is every 3rd day which was somewhat confusing re when/how do you get replacement tea bags/coffee sachets, toilet paper, free water bottles or say wet towel..... Turned out not to be an issue if you ask reception or see housekeeping on the floor. However, I don't think a guest should ever be in a situation of needing to ask for a toilet paper roll, and hotels should ALWAYS provide a spare, especially if housekeeping is not every day.
Breakfast buffet was good. Decent selection of continental, Asian dishes, eggs, pastries, fruit, etc. Was not included in my rate so I happily paid 199 baht when I decided to have breakfast in the hotel. Otherwise there are plenty of nearby options, including cafes and small coffee bars. Good location in Silom area, near little India. Also, Thai street food lanes nearby. BTS station not far and walking distance (okay for me) to each end of Silom Rd (Lumphinee vs river area).
In my room the air con vent on the balcony was a bit noisy/vibrating so reception kindly moved me after a couple of days to a higher floor without a balcony vent and it had a nice city view.
Pool area was not that inviting. No lounge chairs under cover (okay if you want to lie in sun and many did) but there is a covered seating area with tables near the bar. Bar not always attended so you have to work out where to find the towels. The pool water was also not very clear so I only used it once during my stay. Was pleasant in the evening with the breeze in that rooftop area.
Lift security was not functioning while I was there, so did not need to use room key card in lift.
A friendly travel agent on ground floor opposite reception. Good service but not sure about the prices since I paid much more for a bus trip than others on the same trip.

We have spent several nights in this hotel. The location is good on silom street, a main street with a seven eleven down at the door and easy access to the night market by public transport. It is a tall building with a small but pleasant rooftop pool to refresh you and a bar. The rooms are very spacious but it depends on the floor that touches you the floors are carpeted and not too hygienic. It needs renovations in general as the rooms are seen to be quite old. Breakfast seemed fair enough

for just a few bucks more you get a bigger room with great view (balcony was not accessible). Pool is clean and has a roof top bar. Better skip Travel agency close to reception (Taxi/Tuktuk outside called them "italian") They ask for 1000,- Baht deposit which you get returned at Check-Out. Could leave my luggage for a few hours without cost at Hotel

The BAD: The hotel's cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The carpets are not vacuumed, and the bed sheet and towels are worn out, with tears in them. The room is provided with only two coffee sachets and two non-dairy creamer satchels. Despite claiming to be "modern and contemporary," the hotel is in need of significant work. The hall carpets are old, dirty, and worn. I upgraded to an advanced room, but if this was their advanced room, I feel sorry for the people on the lower floors. The balcony is not swept and contains a lot of bird droppings.
Even when I leave in the morning and come back in the late afternoon with the "Clean My Room" button on, it seems like the room is never cleaned. I am lucky if the room is cleaned every other day. Although the room is quite large, it only takes the cleaning staff four minutes to "clean the room." This only involves replacing towels, straightening the duvet, and providing two coffee sachets. The staff are more interested in selling city trips, and repairs to the room are not taken care of, possibly due to the lack of staff.
The Good: The breakfast is plentiful and offers a nice limited range, including fruit, coffee, and tea. The cooks are attentive, and the staff always have a smile. The hotel is semi-central and within walking distance to the station. The rooftop swimming pool is a nice addition, with a 360-degree and amazing view. There is also a gym that would suit most people for some exercise. Additionally, the hotel is a short walk from Patpong Night Market and about 2km from the MBK Shopping Mall.
Overall Comments: I was disappointed with the hotel's cleanliness, and it could be a great place to stay if they spent a little time fixing it up. However, I won't be returning to this hotel any time soon. I chose to stay here as part of a package deal.

They call it Hotel **** 4 stars. It does not correspond to reality. Old facilities with stinky carpet throughout the hotel. The room is even worse: the bathroom is dirty and without the minimum required: a shower curtain, a powerful water jet.... We are in a 4-star hotel with a superior room supplement! In addition, the room is cleaned every 3 days and they boast about it by announcing it (see photo). In short: this hotel is not worth it, especially when you realize the magnificent offer that Bangkok offers.

Not quite sure how to start this review as it was just so underwhelming from the moment we arrived.
The hotel is filthy with dirt, staff just lounging about on sofas and chairs in the reception, and a front door that is continually locked/blocked off in the evening which mean you wanna enter the hotel from Silom Road.
I am sure back in the 90's this hotel was on-point and trendy, but now it's outdated, dirty, run-down, unattentive staff and seems to be more of a hotel that is housing migrants, rather than tourists!
The plus point is that the rooms are huge, the biggest I've ever been in when in Thailand, however they are filthy and have a rather strange full size large fridge just standing in the corner of the room - no integration into the decor or layout of the room, just a freestanding fridge that you would usually find in a house!
Thre is much more value in BKK at this price point and the hotel is absolutely not a 4*!

For years, Furama Silom was our regular hotel in Bangkok because of its price-quality ratio and location. We were here for one night in January 2024 and we noticed that things had deteriorated considerably. The room smelled a bit musty, there were stains in the carpet, the carpet in the hallway was dirty, the breakfast is quite pared down and even more aimed at Asian guests, the entrance and hall are without atmosphere (previous decoration is missing) and the whole thing makes a dingy impression. What also does not help is that there are vacancies in buildings around it, while there used to be nice restaurants there.
We therefore canceled the overnight stays we had reserved later in the month with this explanation. An overhaul is needed here.

The hotel is quite large but the parking space is rather limited, with a spacious top floor pool and a fitness center.
But the point is that the hotel already looks old (the hotel's furama in some places must be old aura), although it has been renovated still feels old, we happen to book a deluxe room with a bathroom full of glass but the curtains can not be closed all so there is a gap.
The rooms have a sofa, TV, separate tub and shower, as well as a closet. Locally it is located in Silom, but a bit away from BTS and crowds, maybe a new 550-meter road starting MCD and actually not too far from Mahanakhon, as well as some bars.
If you take a taxi you can go to Patpong because it's not too far too far. Yeah, I think I used to this hotel.

After covid, when the hotel was closed you had plenty of time to renovate the hotel or at least clean it. They chose to do nothing, save money and deteriorate. The balcony that should be locked at all times for security reasons was open. The breakfast was better before covid. For westeners cereal, toast and scrambled eggs is available. The rest is all for Asian visitors. The baked Beans and cheese slices has disappeared from the breakfast, cost cutting I guess. The breakfast bar side had fallen off and not replaced. The 80’s style laminated wood effect table in the breakfast hall is so dated and makes budget hotels look posh. The pool area is only good for a view. The pool hasn’t be maintained at all. Had to wait for staff to go to the pool to give me the towels. Dirty floors only need cleaning and decking needs painting. Room floors are stained. Tv programs are very basic and limited for English speakers. I will try another hotel until this is back to standard.

Dirty, disgustingly dirty rooms and stinky too. Had to complain so they changed the room for a bit better one, please see photos below. We only stayed for a couple of days, but if you plan to stay in Bangkok for longer, then AVOID choosing this hotel. Breakfast is average. The receptionists English is poor , very poor. The restaurant stuff was against us taking some bits for breakfast for Our 2 year old child who was asleep during these times as a change of time zones. The only one good thing was a view from the roof top pool. That is it

I don’t know. We had tours booked before we arrived in Thailand. All of the hotel personnel are very helpful, though. They answer emails promptly, so ask them!!
There are more places to choose from in the Bangkok area.
