I stayed at Conrad Bangkok in my earlier trip to Bangkok on 5th March. Location was quite a distance walk from BTS but there is shuttle bus on fixed interval arranged by the Hotel to the nearby BTS.

During the check-in, I was greeted warmly by the Front office lady and provided welcome drink (lemongrass flavour). The check-in process took longer than expected and the staff member seem occupied with other matters half-way during the check-in.

After more than 15 minutes of waiting for her, the check-in was completed and i was given the rooms key to go up. My friend rooms have to be delayed due to housekeeping still in progress. I asked if I could have late check-out till 1PM as I have a lunch appointment next day. I was told it will be up till 1PM only for my room after much request to her (her reason for not giving was that they will be busy with check-in the next day). However, the next day I tried to ask again for 2PM late check out through whatsapp chat - I was actually given this request. Lastly, I would like to mention that I am a Hilton Gold Member.

Despite the unpleasant check in experience, everything else was great. Gym look luxurious and clean. I can tell that the Gym has been properly maintained. My room was also clean and amenities very neatly arranged.

I went to dine at Liu Restaurant for Lunch dim sum - the staff was very friendly and accommodating to my request even though I came at 1:45Pm and they are scheduled to close at 2PM. Dim Sum portion was small but very tasty. I would recommend all to try Liu Restaurant as it is one of the best Dim Sum I had in Bangkok.

Breakfast the next day was awesome. The service crew was very friendly and greeted me around the restaurant. Complimentary egg tart was given to us. Also, the re-filling of food and drinks were done in a quick and orderly manner. Breakfast spread was huge and tasty with pastries, hot selection and cold selection (including local delight).

Overall, my stay experience was great except the unpleasant check in experience.

Hotel's Favourite
5.0 of 5 bubbles
I have stayed at the Conrad Bangkok for what might be almost 100 nights over the past 5 years, and of the nearly 50 hotels that I've stayed at in Bangkok, this is my favorite. The difference is the exec lounge staff and overall comfort of the stay. Let me share some of my tips and takeaways.

As a Diamond member, the exec lounge experience here is one of the best of any Conrad that I've stayed in, which includes Conrads throughout the US and Asia. The exec staff, currently managed by Chanel Somboon, is attentive and gracious. I'll add that I had a particular good experience with a recent university graduate, Net, who has been working in the exec lounge, and is both intelligent and affable while providing five star service. The lounge food is plentiful from breakfast with its special menu, to afternoon tea, to evening cocktails, where they make their own barrel-aged negronis and manhattans. Across from the main lounge is a more quiet lounge, where you can work more privately.

The facilities are impressive as well. The pool area is expansive and has an attentive waitstaff and broad menu. The gym is large and extraordinarily well-equipped, with every major piece of equipment even the most demanding enthusiast might appreciate. There is a spa which I have not utilized, but there is also a tennis court and recently 2 pickleball courts which are well-maintained. Even if you're not a Diamond member, the breakfast offered at the 2nd floor cafe has numerous food and drink options, similar in quality to the lounge.

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Compared to other Hiltons, the Conrad doesn't feel as stilted as the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, as old-fashioned as the Hilton Sukhumvit, or as dated as the Millennium Hilton or Doubletree Sukhumvit (I do like the modern vibe of the refurbished Doubletree Ploenchit). I like the desk/table that faces the TV and bed, the Herman Miller Aeron chairs, the sofa and seating area to enjoy takeout meals, the chair with ottoman for enjoying the magnificent skyline views, the numerous electrical and USB outlets on each side of the bed and near the desk area, the addition of Nespresso machines in some of the rooms, the option to hear the TV volume in the bathroom and view the TV through bathroom glass while lounging in the tub, the full toilet bidet, the ultra-high quality Byredo bath products, the bathroom scale, and the electric blackout curtains.

The entire property is overseen by the experienced and diligent Director of Operations Antoine Causel and GM Tim Sainsbury. The continued excellence of the Conrad is a testament to their leadership and the many stewards of the hotel, from before their tenure and I'm sure after as well.

A few notes that you may want to consider when booking here.

- For Diamond status, the hotel only does one-level upgrades. That means that if you book a premium room, you might get an executive room, which is essentially the same room but on a slightly higher floor. They used to give suite upgrades, but they no longer do that, which is a disappointment. I wish they would reconsider this limited upgrade policy for Diamond members.

- Rooms ending from 12-17 don't get afternoon sun, which I prefer; rooms endsing in 01, 02, 27, and 28 do get afternoon sun. Both views are nice, just consider the preference based on when you'll be in the room.

- If you're a guest here and want to book a tennis or pickleball court, you only get one additional outside visitor to play with you for free. So if you want to play doubles, which is especially common for pickleball, you will have to pay 500 baht each for the 3rd and 4th person, even though you're still only using one court. It's frankly a short-sighted policy. I understand bringing only one additional person to the exec lounge, or one additional person to breakfast, or one additional guest to the pool to use up more of the lounge chairs, as those consume food & beverage or chair space. But limiting additional people on the same single tennis or pickleball court, that fails to consider this game. And these courts are empty almost all of the time. I hope they change this courts policy.

- This is a solid place for a long-term stay. There is a shuttle that runs from early to late from Conrad to BTS Ploenchit, which is convenient for access anywhere, along with several coffee shops and Central Embassy shopping mall a 10 minute walk away. For laundry, there is a coin and full service laundry less than a 5 minute walk away, a 120 baht haricut place less than 10 minutes walk away, and the attached All Seasons Place mall has a 7-11, a Starbucks Reserve, several restaurants and retail places, all without ever walking outside into the Bangkok heat.

This review is a bit long, but I do have a deep love for this establishment and its people, and I'm sure you'll appreciate it as well. Mostly, it feels like more luxury home than hotel here. I hope this honest and candid review is helpful.

P.S. I'm also a Marriott Titanium member and IHG Platinum member, staying at more than 100 nights at Marriott each year. I'd still prefer to stay in this Conrad over the best Marriotts in Bangkok, including the Athenee and JW.

This Conrad in Bangkok is a beautiful hotel, with calming and modern interiors, and an amazingly delicious welcome drink made of what appeared to be lemongrass. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the shades (sheer and blackout) were automated with buttons over the nightstands. The location is fairly quiet, which we prefer, and the view from our room on the 22nd floor was amazing. We also very much appreciated the frequent weekday shuttle service to and from the Phloen Chit BTS station, which was really only about a 10 minute walk away, as well as the convenience of the All Seasons plaza/mall connected directly to the hotel lobby for a shopping stop to the 7-11 or to get a quick bite at the numerous restaurants or to get sundries at the TOPS market.

PJ and Cha were such lovely hosts at the lounge, and Nu, the Food and Beverage Manager at the 2nd floor, was very cordial and took time out of his busy schedule to give us a tour of the breakfast area near closing time, showing us the large variety of multicultural offerings in addition to the rotating daily dishes from various regions in Thailand. The lounge had a light buffet style tea service with fresh scones and cookies, and their breakfast and cocktail/dinner offerings were varied and delicious. I particularly liked the wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables available.

Overall, this hotel was relaxing and the location just right for being convenient to a lot of attractions, but not overly touristy or busy.

I stayed at the Conrad Hotel in Bangkok for 13 nights in February. The booking was made for the first time via hotels@frankfurtflyer.de, which included a number of other benefits in addition to the good overnight rate, such as a room upgrade, free breakfast and 100 USD hotel credit and much more. Since I have Diamond status with Hilton, I was also upgraded to an executive room on the 31st floor with a great view. The room was just great, clean, with evening turndown service, water bottles always refilled and a Nespresso machine with at least 4 free capsules per day. The air conditioning was quiet and worked very well. I was able to attach my Amazon Fire TV Stick to the smart TV without any problems and thus had all my apps, from Netflix to Prime to German TV, available. By the way, you can also install a VPN on the Fire TV Stick as an app (e.g. NordVPN) and this means you receive the signal as if you were in Germany. Great thing. My status gave me access to the Executive Lounge, which in my opinion is one of the best Hilton lounges. Great food, great service, enough staff to provide pleasant and courteous luxurious service from morning until late at night. The evening happy hour from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. also offers free alcoholic drinks, including wine, which is still often very expensive in Thailand (except perhaps in the Wine Connection). The lounge served breakfast, cakes and sandwiches in the afternoon and evening service, all of which I think are well worth booking the Executive rooms directly. The gym is great, there is also a spa and the pool is big enough, has greenery and enough sun loungers - most of the time anyway. The pool service is friendly and helpful, so a big compliment to all the staff, no matter which area of the hotel, just great. The hotel shuttle also takes you quickly to the next SkyTrain station - Ploen Chit - and from there it is 2 stops to Siam Paragon, or change and another 2 stops to Silom Road. I felt totally at home in the Hotel Conrad for the 13 nights and was very rested and relaxed after my stay, although I'm sure there are other opinions about spending your entire vacation in Bangkok. Once again, a big thank you to Frankfurtflyer Hotels for the absolutely brilliant hotel deal, where I was lucky and was able to take advantage of an offer where I could stay 6 nights and only pay for 5. By the way, I can also recommend the Asian restaurant LIUI in the Conrad Hotel. Great service and great, plentiful food, it was a pleasure and a very nice evening. I would stay at the Hotel Conrad in Bangkok again anytime. I would personally recommend it without reservation. TOP!

After a couple of weeks in Thailand we choose the Bangkok Conrad to spend a night at before moving to a hotel closer to the airport for the final night. We enjoyed our time at the Conrad so much we opted to spend a second night. This was no small decision as we had already paid for the other hotel which meant a much earlier start to get to the airport, but we didn't want to say goodbye.
The room was comfortable and loved the shower, and while the tub looked so enticing my wife and I opted for the amazing outdoor, large, and luxurious hot tub and pool. Our daughter reported that the tub was awesome.
Poolside we were greeted and treated excellent. The staff doing a wonderful job in catering to anyone's needs around the pool. There was a children's play area, pickleball and tennis courts, and a little patio away from it all. The pool offered food and drink right there and it could have been a vacation unto itself.
Equally impressive was the Executive Lounge. We camped out there for quite a while both evenings and the staff was excellent. Attentive without being overbearing and the two small quibbles I have are minor. Sometimes the plates piled up and they weren't removed as quickly as we would have liked, but we were also playing card games which made the table space a premium. While the sliders looked great, there was so little meat on them that it was all bread. The tempura shrimp had so little shrimp in them and was too much breading as well.
With all the time we spent in the Executive Lounge, I have to shout out to those who made us feel so welcome and helped make the stay great.
Thank you, April, who was pivotal in keeping our glasses filled her great smile, excellent English, and sense of humor. PJ, who was wonderfully friendly and ready with a smile. Pla, Rose, and Gigi helped make sure we were happy and not wanting. Gigi, who stated she "liked my energy" which gave me a big smile I liked your energy too and it was appreciated. And Tewley who spoke to us about some of the games he played and his interest in Dominion. And Vivian at breakfast who was our point person and was always around when needed a coffee or tea.
The breakfast was a feast for the senses. We are so sad we didn't get a second breakfast because we left too early. (turns out we did have enough time, but its better to be early for flights) It was so great to see sambar in the buffet.
The front desk and concierge were also of great help with taxis and planning. There is enough restaurants and a "street food market" nearby which is helpful. It looks like you are in an isolated area, but you really aren't and there is plenty to do.
All wasn't perfect and there were a couple of oversights, but how a property responds to problems is important. When these issues were raised they were resolved and dealt with. They were followed up on and fixed, and that is the mark of a hotel that cares.
Thank you for the treats and a great way to end our Thailand stay. We will be back as I think we all agree that it's a great way to exit Bangkok. Next time we will take later flights!

Highlight is the refreshing welcoming Thai drink right as you check in at the front desk. The staff were very professional and if I'm not mistaken, housekeeping was about twice a day because each time the room is made and I return a second time during the day, I find that something has been rearranged in a perfect manner.

Breakfast was a spread cut across 3 continents. It's almost impossible to not get something to one's taste. Complimentary cocktails was offered daily throughout my stay but I not partake in it and complimentary fruits, water and coffee were provided in the room separately from the mini bar.

There's a shuttle to the nearest BTS station every 15 minutes and it's quite popular. The hotel itself is well located and a walking distance to the BTS station.

The customer service at this property falls short compared to other Conrad hotels I’ve stayed at. The amenities are underwhelming, and the front desk staff is unaccommodating. Breakfast was disappointing on both days of my stay, with items running out and only being refilled after I requested it—clearly an issue of understaffing. There was no acknowledgment of my Hilton Honors status, which was disappointing. Additionally, I ordered food and asked the front desk to have a staff member bring it up to my room, but they refused, citing concerns about hygiene. Yet, if hygiene is truly a concern, little kids were running all over the breakfast area, coughing openly near the food. The location is not ideal, and upon check-in, the staff failed to explain all available amenities, such as the shuttle service to the BTS station. Overall, if I were looking to stay within the Hilton brand, there are better options in more convenient locations.

We stayed in Conrad Bangkok for 3 nights. I’ve traveled to Bangkok for 10s times, Conrad Bangkok is the best one I’ve ever stayed. The room is big and clean, with different types of shades for the room so you can get nice privacy also enjoy the sun, or blackout during sleep. For bathroom , the nice clean bathtub, and shower is powerful (it’s important when travel in this hot season, you would definitely need a good bath everyday).

The most amazing part are the staffs! They are nice and friendly. Aya found that it’s my kid’s birthday when we checked in. She secretly prepared a birthday cake for her.my kid was really happy when she saw the cake in our room. She also introduced us all the facilities that for kids in the hotels so that we don’t miss any part. We spent most of time in the nice swimming pool and playground. My kid also has fun for the stamp collection games in hotel. We’ve traveled a lots and this is one earn my kids top as they are really nice and make them feel respected.

We were worried about it’s a bit away from BTS. Turns out the shuttles are really intensive and we always catch the shuttle a go and back. never need to walk back to hotel by ourselves.

recommend this hotel for your Bangkok stays.

To sum it up, it’s a beautiful hotel with incredibly kind staff. The attention to detail in the room was impressive, the pool very inviting and to top it off we were able to play Pickleball on the outdoor court (on the hotel’s 7th floor). Breakfast in the restaurant was truly amazing and the executive lounge tea as well as evening snacks very well done. Great location with easy access to the elevated train… We really enjoyed the hotel, can’t wait to go back.

Great place to stay, a little bit away from tourist circuit, more business people here. As soon as you enter inside, the lobby can transmit a feeling of peace and elegance. The rooms are good, clean and well decorated. All the hotel is quite peaceful. The breakfast is huge with a lot of choices and good quality. The executive lounge is amazing with careful staff and good choice of food and beverage all during the day. The pool are offer a relaxing place to rest. Is quite close to BTS, but there is also a free bus ride. Next to the hotel there is a little mall where you can find a lot of things. The only sad thing is that Hilton Diamond never get a Suite upgrade (as it should). Anyway I will be there again at the end of february for my 5th times (maybe I will be more lucky).

Yes but they are also going to ask you for a deposit for incidentals which if there are no incidentals than you will get that money back. Quite frankly that hotel is over priced and over rated and there are better hotels around Bangkok that will treat you better and give you a better value. That’s my experience and opinion.
