Neighbourhood
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.

A few years ago I visited Celadon, the restaurant placed in the Sukhothai Bangkok. Almost all the food in the restaurant was fantastic, and the Interior design was cool enough. At that time I decided to secure accommodation at this hotel someday. And this time, I had a chance

2nd stay at the Sukhothai Bangkok in 2018, and quite miraculously, it just got better and better. The front office team, led by the ‘no request is ever too much’ Khun Tippie, made us feel ‘at home’ as soon as we walked in. A few notable highlights of this stay: - The new gym

The essence of Sukhothai hotel is not just the decoration mostly now and after all those years it’s THE ATMOSPHERE and my best people at the desk as Tippy and Toom and Natawan and their unique sweet characters. Sukhothai forever!!!!! Always come back

I have been to dozens of hotels in Asia, and this one stands out. It is what I think of when I think of Asian hospitality. Khun Tippie and Khun Ing made my stay SO enjoyable. Nothng was too difficult for them, and they made me feel like family. Can you find a fancier hotel?

Hotel accommodation prices can fluctuate greatly, a part of it depends on luck, really. I was lucky enough to find an executive suite also for about 5000+Baht/night in September 2017 on Agoda. I would recommend to check out Agoda, Booking, expedia...etc regularly to see if you can catch any deals.
