My wife and I stayed for three nights at the Royal View Resort in Bangkok. From the time we checked in till the time we left the hotel for the airport we had a wonderful stay here. On arrival at the hotel, as we were being checked in, we were given hot towels, a cool tasty fruit juice and a delicious dessert. The room was large and clean with comfortable beds, enough storage space, colour TV, a safe, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities. There were complimentary packets of cookies and wafers! The staff was polite, eager to please and helpful but most of them do not speak English. Only two staff members, at the reception, spoke English well enough to answer our queries about sight seeing, tourist attractions, directions to shopping centres, etc. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel so I cannot comment about it. The hotel is next to a large recreation park and close to major shopping centres such as Century Mall (almost next door), Indra Market, Platinum mall etc. There are several restaurants, a seven eleven and a Tesco store within walking distance. After an early check out, during which we were again given a cool, tasty drink, we were allowed to keep our bags in the hotel while we went for some last minute shopping and sight seeing. On our return the hotel arranged for a private taxi to Suvarnabhumi airport for a lower price than usual. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

We stayed for 2 nights. Hotel lobby and room are so clean. Just five minutes walk to Victory Monument BTS station. Staffs are so friendly and hand sanitizer bottles are placed in every floor infront of lift.

Royal View Hotel gave us 100% great service and customer satisfaction! I and my husband enjoyed our stay here in this Hotel while we are in Thailand. The staff are very friendly, alert for service and helpful. We love the Buffet breakfast the food is really delicious and you will feel at home eating for sure! The Front Desk attendants, bellman and housekeeping team are very professional and they understand English well. I think it Royal View Hotel is better than the two hotels we had which is the Picnic Hotel and Rama Gardens Hotel. The room is very clean and the area is peaceful. It is near the Center Mall, walking distance to 7/11 store, local vendors, and even laundry area. Overall we love this place!

Stayed here for 2 nights and what a fabulous hotel. The check-in was smooth with great reception staff and a welcome drink and small snack. Nice touch. The location was great only a 5 minute walk from Victory monument station, and 15 walk to Phaya Thai airport link station. The room was large with a king size bed and sofa. The shower was hot, a tv in the room and great air conditioning. Didn't try the breakfast as it was 500 baht. I think maybe you can find cheaper in Bangkok. I only paid £18 for a room only per night. What a bargain. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable well designed semi-antique rooms. Good breakfast with local and continental food. They have even soup for breakfast :) And you also could choose from the menu for free.
Helpful hotel staff. Everyday complete cleaning.
170 - 200 THB for GRAB taxi to most of the touristic points (or you can take metro or bus). Cozy park Santiphap just under your window. Nice city view. Oumi cannabis coffeshop just few minutes of walking. CentralwOrld mall and big supermarket Big C - 25 minutes of walking.

Royal View Resort was amazing the room was very clean and lobby as well. You can not beat the price and location VERY close to malls and easy access to BTS Victory Monument with airport connection. The staff was Very Kind and helpful so Thai Like and smiles everywhere! The breakfast in the morning was outstanding either so many choices and the wait staff 5 stars! Oh did I mention a beautiful park just across the street with a circular track with orchards along the way. Let’s not forget a free exercise class in morning and night in the park as well you can spend a whole day there listening to the beautiful birds. If you are on a budget and want a 5 start experience this is your HOME!❤️

I was with my mom and sister. We've enjoyed our stay so much. It is near the BTS station but I specifically chose it because of its proximity to the Phaya Thai Airport railway. There are a lot of eateries around because it is near a college. Century mall has this nightly eatery as well where you can eat (hot pot style), drink, and chill. It is also near the Grand Palace where you can have the option to just go there by Grab/Taxi, so it is perfect for first time travelers of Bangkok.

I stumbled across this hotel about 10 years ago. Great location; walking distance from the BTS, a beautiful park at its front door, plenty of local and western food choices and coffee shops. A three star hotel with 5 star service, best buffet breakfast with a full service breakfast option as well. It is a credit to the hotel management; the staff are so well trained, respectful, service oriented, friendly and such naturally beautiful people. Don't be put off by the fact that the hotel external is probably due for a paint job. The entrance and lobby is quite grand for a three star, spotlessly clean, excellent dining space, comfortable lounging chairs with good space and all in very good condition. We usually book a delux room with breakfast and a park view. The bed and pillars are cloud like and the blackout curtains insure a good sleep. This is the type of hotel that you want to keep secret and at the same time tell all your friends about. Fingers crossed that they have a vacancy for my next visit.

I was very surprised when we just arrived outside your hotel. Your staff was there at the entrance to welcome us by helping to bring our luggages into the lobby with a big smile on her face. Very friendly and polite indeed. She even helped us to do the check-in while we were enjoying the welcome drink provided by the hotel. Every time we went in and out of the hotel, your staff would very politely greeted us. Even for checking-out, we just sat at the lobby, and everything would be taken care of. This is the first time i ever encountered such good services. But the only con here is the hotel room. The room is very clean though but it lacks sufficient lighting. The room and toilet are considered quite dim. In the toilet, my husband couldnt shave his beard properly due to lack of brightness and i couldnt do a proper make-up. Hope the management could improve on this. Location wise, it is near the BTS Victory Monument Station, quite convenient i would say.

I've stayed in this hotel a number of times, and my most recent stay was the best. The room I had was up to their usual standards, and of course Santiphap Park is just across the street.

The breakfast was better, with more options, including waffles with ice cream.

The staff was wonderful as usual, very attentive and responsive. But I must point out one of the staff, I believe her name is Bho, who brightened my day each time I saw her. She checked me in, and from the beginning I appreciated her warmth and humor, as well as her professionalism.

She is a great representative of the hotel.

I'm not too sure if they do a transfer But it's very convenient to take a Cab from the airport . There's a Taxi Queing Counter , whereby you take a ticket and it'll direct you to the Cab driver waiting to pick you up. Bear in mind,I paid for a Flat rate of 500Baht and was advised by the Hotel staff to ask for meter charges which is cheaper as told. On my departure trip to airport , it was book by the hotel staff and the staff even pass me 20Baht to pass to the driver , she told me it's for telephone call booking, paid by the hotel. It turn out the meter reading was much cheaper than the 500Baht I paid for.

Yes, you can leave the baggage with the hotel before or after your stay, as hotel guests. Usually it's free but I'm unsure up to how long they allow. I left with them for about half a day, it was fine and they didn't charge.
