Property's Favourite Review
The staff is outstandingly friendly and attentive to their guests. We saw hyenas and an elephant some 300-500m away from us - a mind blowing experience. The staff cares a lot about the safety of their guests - we felt absolutely safe and secure in the middle of the Serengeti national park. The night sky is absolutely amazing - have never seen so many beautiful stars! The shower was weak but good enough to have a bath every day. The food was good.

After I booked this property I was informed the high costs of airport transfers (250 usd) most companies charge a maximum of 100usd. Game drives are also 250usd per person per day. When I asked if I could reduce the number of game drive days to save on some costs the property informed me the 250 usd daily charge was compulsory regardless of if I go on a game drive or not. These fees are not show on the properties advertisement when booking. Please be aware park fees are also an additional 130 usd per person per day. The property mentions additional fees but does not advertise the amount. In total the property tried to charge me an additional 1770 usd in compulsory fees which were not advertised. Other lodges are more transparent and offer better value airport transfers and game drives. Dealing with the property is also very difficult as they fail to respond to most communication.

Hi Leanne We are very sorry that you did not manage to stay at our property. As mentioned to you earlier park entrance fees to Serengeti and activity fees are beyond our control and that are mandatory as are not collected by us but the national park authority and are not part of the accommodation which you booked with us. We hope that in the near future you will get the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and hospitality of our camp Best Regards

Nice tented camp in the center of Serengeti and in this time of the year (16 - 18 November) right in the center of the migration of the wildebeest, millions of wildebeest and zebras around this area. During nighttime you hear hyenas. Tent are comfortable without insects, good shower and toilet. Diner in the dining tent and there is also a tent with a bar to relax a bit after your gamedrive, although you can also sit outside your tent and enjoy the sunset.
