This lodge is relatively isolated, about 90 minutes from the west Serengeti entrance and away from the main roads - it takes a good 40 minutes from the main road to reach the lodge, crossing a river by car or using a very small pedestrian bridge. The main advantage is that this lodge has a lot of space! From our tented chalet - beautiful wooden construction with a large indoor bathroom - overlooking the Serengeti, we barely could see any other room! In the center of the lodge is the front desk with large sofas, while the restaurant, the spa and the pool sit on the edge of the hill, offering a 180+ degrees view on the park. You can see from a distance the animals from the pool and while dining… Excellent food, with sometimes barbecues served on another terrasse, nice cocktails and good wines. Highly recommended.

Visited the place early this August, We received excellent services right from reception! It is a wonderful place giving amazing wildlife experience and different views ( sunrise/set, animals and beautiful plains) All other services are as well perfect. Some recommendation, please keep the towels at the reception warm always and also due to the current pandemic situation add hand washing water with soap/sanitizers to make make things even better! We will surely come back!

We were there July 30-31, 2021. The lodge is breathtaking with amazing views. The staff was very gracious and accommodating with our needs. Our only complaint was the steep, rocky paths that you had to navigate from the chalet to the restaurant area. We were in #13 and it was a good 10-12 minute walk, uphill in the dark with the guards. Just be sure to ask for a room close to the central area. The food was great as was the cleanliness of the facility.

Some of the best days ever with all the necessary facilities in the hotel. We had 3 days there that we will never forget. The very room was for two families or couple with children. Two large bathrooms fully equipped.
