Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a great time here spent 1 week, the staff are great like Mehdi and others. All the help i needed was provided and the location was really good, can get into center of medina within 10-15 mins witg a bus just round the corner. Restaurant is great and the prices are good.

The rooms are very poorly designed. It feels like you are entering a train compartment. The rooms have nothing apart from a bed and a bath/toilet. No glasses no water bottles no TV and no consumables in the room. Not even shampoo or a set of glasses to drink water!! One of the worst IBIS I have travelled to in the world. A strict AVOID for all.

The TV didn't work and it was from the nineties anyway. The room could do with some refurbishment especially in the bathroom. The room wasn't very clean and we had to wipe down some of the surfaces ourselves including in the bathroom. We initially got a room facing the motorway and we might as well have been sleeping outside due to the noise. We asked to be moved to a non smoking room - BIG MISTAKE - Yes we were moved but not only were we moved to another smoking permitted room, but the room was facing the pool. I've never been bitten by so many mosquitoes in my life. I've had to seek medical attention following my holiday. The reality of the room became clearer in the morning. There were marks of dead mosquitoes everywhere implying that previous guests had spent time getting rid of mosquitoes just to get some sleep. The toilet flushing unit wasn't working properly. I would not recommend this hotel and other reviews about insufficient serving spoons in the dining room and the poor level of cleanliness are true.

This is really a very unpleasant experience especially with me having platinum accor status, really no benefits whatsoever, no upgrades, breakfast, etc. Only one advantage welcome drink. In the room is not provided drinking water, and bath amenities. Yesterday's lights went out and I called many times but the technician didn't come and finally came but he misinterpreted the lights and the AC, so when I waited he didn't come until I called again when he was repairing he made a mess more like breaking the lights even the glass was still in floor, and that's not all, early in the morning, in my room there was no power in the socket, I called many times but the technician didn't come, my cellphone battery was almost dying and when it finally came but it didn't look like technician and he said to wait until it was I waited 1 and a half hours but the person didn't come, and what's worse is now the phone is dead even though it was fine before, and I went to reception with all the problems, and the reception was very unfriendly, instead of solving the problem and asking people to go there immediately he actually challenged I. really accor, my experience staying in one of your hotels was VERY VERY BAD

Room was very dirty. Crumbs and dirt in the corners, soap scum in shower, dirty/moldy grout, the dead bolt lock just comes out when you touch it. Breakfast was included and some of the buffet dishes did not have serving spoons or tongs so guests just used their hands. Saw someone use their hands for scrambled eggs. The hotel advertises free parking. Well we parked in front of two parked cars and I went in to check in and next thing I know the bellman is screaming at us to move our car. Now there are 2 unattended cars in front of us blocking us and one behind us. They finally moved and we were to park in a dirt mud puddle lot next door for a fee. Bathroom towels were dingy and paper thin. Huge problem to ask for more.

While staying in the hotel for 5 days first thing I noticed is the smell of raw sewage coming from the lobby the staff asked me if we were married I'm 63 years old 😳 the manager mr mehdi was rude when I asked him to lower the sound and change the music from Mexican narco music to some Arabic or amazigh music. The brackefest was basic. I will never go back to this hotel,

good reception staff. internet was very good. getting taxi's was easy. they called the local taxi company. not too far from jema-el-fena. about 15 mins. not too far from gueliz. about 10-15 mins. next door is a 24 hour mini mart which was great, and there is also a cafe and restaurant next to the mini mart. Internet is good everywhere - hotel, cafe next door. advice to Ibis, don't charge 2.5 x the price of coke compared to the 24hr minimart next door. The ibis in agadir offered drinks the same price as the mini mart. also they Ibis agadir have a fride near reception where you can buy 24 hr drinks and hot beverages. The Marrakech one does not have this. swimming pool was good and great feeling relaxing at night near the pool would stay here again definitely. Thank you Ibis

Really enjoyed our stay here. Our first room wasn't great but we asked to be moved and they did so quickly and we couldn't have been happier with the one they gave us. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful; on many occasions we asked for recommendations and help booking taxis which they were more than happy to do. The food was also lovely and super affordable. We stayed for the 5 nights and would do it again.
