Our receptionists are skilled at answering your pre-booking queries AND everything that can possibly make your stay in Marrakesh a holiday to remember. We will welcome you to our riad as we would friends coming to stay in our home. We have 12 rooms, individually styled. Our riad has a long history of ruin and grandeur, like many old riads, in the middle of the old city of Marrakesh. There is an interesting story behind everything in Morocco. We are perfectly situated at the entrance to the old souk and close to the Djemma el Fna Square. Taxis and transport are just outside our door. We have a swimming pool and hammam, jacuzzi and sun longing rooftop area. We offer practical advice and warm, caring support during your stay. We have a good restaurant onsite - with a delicious breakfast but also open for evening meals - some delicious Moroccan food alongside Italian specials, a local musician and rooftop views. Come stay with us and you will not be disappointed!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location was in the middle of all the Old Town action but you couldn’t the noise in the room. Only birds chirping in the mornings. My family and I visited during Ramadan (not intentionally) and the staff stayed committed yet provided us with comforts. We found the entire staff to be accommodating, leading with kindness and great care. Highly recommend the Hammam…just amazing. Although a very old building, the furnishings were beautiful and the property well maintained/very clean.

It's a lovely Riad, away from the the extremes of the bustle but central too. Staff are exceptional. Would recommend. Had beers on the roof terrace when we arrived. The other Riad has a prettier roof terrace and outdoor pool. Staff helped us book dinner each evening and am sure would have helped with trips. It was cheaper to get a taxi from the airport though than to use the Raid.

This was the highlight of our trip. The Anika team is warm, welcoming, kind and they think of everything. From the moment you arrive until after you leave they treat you like family. Building is stunning, food is amazing. It couldn’t be better. Thank you! We were welcomed with milk and dates followed by tea and cookies. The kindest woman has told us about the area. Marked interesting spots on the map, answered all our questions and even told us where is best to eat. This was all done in a kind and warm manner. You really feel like it’s your family. Our room was lovely and the shower products are AMAZING. My mom was staying somewhere else and they asked if they could invite her to join us for breakfast free of charge. I have never had any hotel do that and it was so sweet. Thank you, my mom loved it. Dinner is the best we ate on this trip. Also there is live traditional music while you eat which is just gorgeous. On the way out they send us off with some lovely sandwiches for the road. I couldn’t think of any way to improve our stay other than make it warmer. Don’t change anything Dar Anika and we hope to be back one day!

Very friendly, attentive staff who were very helpful. The individual welcome greeting my the manager was very informative. I would suggest that you listen carefully, when you venture out you very quickly understand what and why he told you what he did. With an easily missable entrance, you are pleasantly surprised by the very nice Riad. I would highly recommend the lamb shoulder meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Really great service and the rooms are up to expectation, bed very comfortable. Try to get a room upstairs! Location is great, just next to two main sightseeing spots and the souk!

My wife and I spent 3 days at this riad and could not have been more comfortable. The staff were brilliant! Very friendly and always on hand to help with anything. Our room was comfortable, as was the bed and the food was delicious. Very deserving of 5 stars.

My wife and I stayed for three nights at Riad Dar Anika and would highly recommend it. I did wonder if it would be too noisy being so close to the centre (my wife is a light sleeper) but not at all; it’s a calm oasis in the middle of Marrakesh. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a very relaxing afternoon on the terrace of the nearby Dar Kaiss which is a sister hotel and ended up having our (included) breakfast there for the second and third mornings. Two hotels for the price of one!

We booked our stay here based on 2000 fabulous reviews on trip advisor, it doesn't match up to these reviews in our opinion. It was noisy, we tried 3 rooms before leaving to spend the rest of our vacation elsewhere, pool and hot tub were cold. Dinner was poor.

Walked past this place in the Medina, booked for evening meal, booking was simple and straightforward. So glad we did, on arrival the ambience was calm and very stylish. Food was fantastic and the service impeccable. Clearly has a good reputation from the numbers of diners. Easily the best tagine I've had and my partners beef was reportedly very tender and subtlety spiced. Worth every dirham and a wonderful dining experience.
