Good points
The reception staff were all very helpful and friendly. In particular a lady called Oumaima made me feel very welcome.
My room was clean, comfortable and spacious. There were no problems with noise and hot water was always available.
The evening meal was vey good and it was nice to be able to order wine with my dinner.
The location is convenient and safe. It is a 30 minute walk to the Old City but taxis are always available at a reasonable price - around 50 dirhams.
Not so good points
The breakfast could be more interesting- it included a selection of large cakes which is not really to European tastes. I think a buffet breakfast would be nicer.
My room was on the 5th floor and when i returned at night the landing was very dark. It would be good to have a light which came on automatically when someone arrived on the landing.
Tip
If you het the number 19 bus from the airport, tell the driver you are going to this hotel and he will stop nearby and show you where you need to go - only 100 metre walk from the bus stop.
On arriving I found the hotel to be in an excellent location a short walk from all the amenities of the new city and a 50Dhm taxi ride to the main square taxi's pass regularly so there is no problem getting one.
On arriviving I found the reception staff to be extremely helpful, polite and cheerful, a Safety Deposit Box costs 25 Dhm per night. The young lady on reception was extremly helpful, always cheerful and smiling and ver polite.
The rooms were immaculately clean and cleaned everyday sometimes a little late but never the less cleaned to the normal high standard. The hotel is a little dated but I would call it homely and cosey.
The bar serves excelent food of a very hight standard and the staff are very polite and attendtive - one comment is that the menu is the same every night and for long stays it would be an added advantage if there was a Today's Sepcial on the menu.
Check out time is 12pm but there is a baggaeg room if your flight is not till later.
Al in all an excellent stay and well recommended with no disturbances at all - highly recommended
Thanks to the team

Everything was as it should be.
Very clean, nicely furnished and decorated in Morrocan style.
The staff were lovely and friendly.
The breakfast was included and consisted of 3 pastries each, yoghurt, fruit, olives, bread, honey and cheese, also a freshly cooked omelette was offered along with coffee and the best freshly squeezed orange juice I ever had.
Very plentiful.
There are 2 bar/ restaurants on site which we didn't eat in but had drinks in and were always given complimentary olives and nuts .
The location is good for shopping, there is a shopping centre less than 5 minutes walk, which has an amazing gourmet supermarket inside plus a food court and a wine/bottle shop.
We really enjoyed our stay and would like to thank the staff and management for being so accomodating.
Highly recommended!

The room was very nice for the price I got it at, very clean with free safe and fridge. Bed extremely comfortable with nice linen. Plenty of cushions and extra pillows, warm and comfortable with working aircon. There are many flights of stairs but a lift if you need it! good security with always someone on the front desk and room card needed to use the lift.
Money exchange is available at receptions and I did get 12 MAD to £1 which was much better than the 8 MAD to £1 at the airport. Don't exchange too much money as you should only take 260 MAD out of the country even if you plan to come back.
The food in the restaurant was superb, as good as at Royal Mansour where I also had lunch one day. The Oualidia oysters were delicious....I had them twice over 3 days with absolutely no issue so if you love oysters like me I recommend and I'm from an area in Scotland where seafood is second to none. Juvenile oysters (spat) are shipped in from France and spend 3yrs sitting in a fresh water mineral rich lagoon in Oualidia. Great French cuisine al la carte menu I'm sure to suit all tastes.
Breakfast was substantial for me....
As is always the case in Morocco the staff at this hotel are so helpful, caring, fun and respectful, they just can't do enough for you . Special thanks from a solo female traveler to the reception staff Marwa and Anas. Marwa was a gem, great company for me (and I noticed others) during my stay and she was so lovely, thank you!!.....Anas was so helpful with advice, money exchange and taxis, what a handsome polite young man and a credit to his employers.
Bear in mind this is in the western side of Marrakesh, however the hotel stills feels traditional, also that people live differently there due to the heat of the day.....it can be very noisy over Fridays and Saturdays to the early hours but when I go on holiday I want to experience the real places and immerse myself in the culture so although there were a few sleepless hours I embraced it!! Also what may seem noisy to me, someone who lives rurally in Scotland, may be normal or expected to others....
I would definitely return and recommend!! LOVE Morocco, LOVE the people!!!
Restaurant served good food, and had a wide variety to choose from, the deserts were of high standard.
I would definitely stay at the La Caspian again.
The staff at reception is nice and helpful but the staff at breakfast are really not happy chaps. They don't make you feel welcome.
The pool is quite small and the terrace on the roof top is kind of abandoned.
The breakfast is not buffet and it's nothing special, but ok for a 3 star hotel .
In short, I don't think that to call this a boutique hotel is correct. It is a good 3 star hotel.
Táxis to center are about 40/50 dirahms, but they will always ask 100 first, so you need to be quite firm before you go in.

The room & bed were comfortable and cleaned well every day including fresh towels.
We ate in the tapas bar and hotel restaurant, both were lovely, great value and excellent service. Good cocktails in the restaurant.
The location is perfect for people who want to be close enough to walk to the medina but not stuck in the loud & business of it. Plenty of shops around the hotel area too.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
