This was our first time in Morocco so we decided to look for somewhere nice with good reviews. We didn’t want a Western style chain Hotel and this place did not disappoint.

The immediate impression as you walk in is the coolness from the heat and the sudden transformation from organized chaos on the street outside to almost stunning tranquility. A lovely welcome drink of mint tea was served as we checked in and bags were taken to the room. The staff took time to show us around the grounds on the way to our room which was really nice. It was an older style room in décor but it gave it an authentic feel and my good lady got very excited when she realized we had separate loos and bathrooms. I was not allowed to trespass in her domain!

The bed and lounge chairs were really comfy and the room temperature was easily controlled day and night. Every day the ladies who cleaned our room provided us with a new style of towel folding and petal arranging. Not something we usually expect but a nice touch to underline the superb cleanliness of the hotel.

There is loads of space to relax outside in the large courtyard, a haven for shade if you need some and there is a roof top pool and loungers with café if you want to soak up the sun.

We took breakfast each morning and it was lovely. Plenty of choice for all tastes with the usual continental style of cheeses, meats, pastries breads and orange juice constantly being freshly squeezed. We varied between al Fresco and inside seating during our stay.

The hotel guest relations manager (Sorry I forgot her name) was superb. She arranged a couple of tours by private car, one local and one to the mountains. Do expect to be taken to the Tanneries and spice shops and do expect to be hassled for sales but if you have a strong character you can overcome this. We failed miserably. The tour into the Atlas Mountains was well worth it and we persuaded our driver that we had no desire to stop off at any markets, Souks, Shops or camels! He got a free lunch for obliging!

This type of holiday was very different to what we normally do and the Hotel made it a really good change to make.

Most riad hotels in Marrakesh are small and intimate, which is great if that’s your thing but if you want spacious rooms, 2 pools, great breakfast and enough space for a family, this hotel is for you. Staff is courteous, concierge is knowledgeable, and the location impeccable next to the big square with easy access to the Médina and it’s amazing shopping, restaurants and night life. The SPA is a great deal for one or more days of treatments and the beds and showers amongst the beat we’ve experienced in our travels. All at a reasonable price. The only downside if you had to pick one? Having to pick rose petals off the bed everyday before going to sleep!

This is a fabulous 5 star hotel in a central location just off the hustle & bustle of Djema Al Finaa square & Koutobia mosque yet once you are inside it is a haven of peace & tranquility.

The hotel is set out like a large traditional riad, yet has an elegant & old world charm with the most stunning mosaics & decor throughout, including 3 pools & restaurants.
The views of the sunset from the rooftop were stunning with the Koutoubia Minaret providing the perfect backdrop

We stayed in a spacious & beautifully decorated suite Shona with a fantastic view of the Koutoubia minaret from the garden terrace balcony.
Breakfast was simple and plentiful and the staff were always friendly, polite & helpful.
Highly recommended & would love to return

We enjoyed our last three nights in Marrakech at Les Jardins de La Koutoubia. The hotels location is unique being that it is right next to the grand Mosque and the central market square. It is truly an oasis in the middle of the chaos that is old Marrakech with beautiful views and all the amenities expected from a hotel of this caliber. There are plenty of luxuries available and the restaurants in the hotel were fabulous. We wound down every night at the piano bar to have some drinks and listen to the piano player before dinner. Breakfast was very good with just about anything you could need including made to order omelets or pancakes. The entire staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. We really felt welcome and special the entire time at the hotel. The room was wonderful. We got a basic room with a courtyard view that was surprisingly large. Everything was very clean and the bed was perfectly comfortable. Truly a five star experience at a good price! We would absolutely stay again at the Hotel and will recommend it to friends. Thank you to the entire staff at Les Jardins de La Koutoubia for making our stay so memorable.

My husband booked this hotel for my birthday - it was situated in the old part of Marrakech, close to the grand mosque and the medina was around a 5 minute walk.
The hotel was very tranquil and beautiful and on arrival the staff were welcoming and we were given tea. Our room was very spacious and overlooked the pool.
Breakfast was included. The service was very good, and good choice of hot and cold breakfast with delicious fresh orange.
We had lunch at the hotel which was great and also the Moroccan restaurant which we would recommend.
The reception manager was very helpful during our stay and arranged a private guide for a morning called Abdul, well worth the cost, we visited the palace, museum and souks and was very informative about the area, all on foot.
The hotel has lovely spa facilities, we had a relaxing massage each which was a nice treat followed by the spa pool.
If we come back to Marrakech again we would definitely stay here again.

Very good hotel, located in a small street , 2 minutes walking from Koutoubia tower and another 2 minutes walking from Jemaa El Fna.

Despite the street was always busy, the interior was very quiet.

Pleasant lobby. Nice classical architecture. The central area is a large courtyard with a large swimming pool, snack bar, a billiard room, a small business room and other rooms to read, rest or talk. The moroccan restaurant and the piano bar also overlook this courtyard.

There was another very plesant swimming pool with snack bar at the rooftop. There is an indian restaurant located also at the rooftop and an european restaurant at the low floor.

The staff was gentle , polite and efficient.

My junior suite had good size. A well equipped bathroom (missing hooks for towels and a towl for the bidet, however). Bathrobes and twels had good quality. The bed was King size and very comfortable. Minbar was ok. There was a Nespresso coffee maker and a safety box addequate for tables. On arrival there was a large fruit basket. The living oom had tow sofás and a table and the balcony(only partial view of the Koutoubia, althugh it as advertized as “with Koutoubia view” ) was very pleasant and had two chair and a table. Lightning was good. Soundproofing was aceptable except at a certain moment of the moment when the guest at the upper floor arrived and every step from the upper floor was heard. Wardrobes had sufficient space but there was not a single cupboard in the room.

He TVs at the bedroom and living room were large but the channel selection was poor.

The wifi was poor, very slow.

Breakfast was very good, with moroccan and western choices (including bacon and ham, unusual in muslim countries). The lady at the eggs cooking station was good and fast.

My experience at the spa was good with the massage but very poor with the hamman.

Summarizing, a very good hotel, with high standards, at an excellent location (probably the best hotel very closet o Jemaa el Fna).

Value for Money was average (i paid around 550 euros for the junior suite for two, with breakfast), however i would recommend this hotel due to its location and its high level.

Hotel was in super location close to the Medina with some beautiful architecture however they let themselves down a little by not keeping up wit the maintenance especially the electrical fittings.

Staff at breakfast/room service / cleaners were superb but the reception staff appeared a little abrupt not very helpful.

I would class this as probably a 4 star, the hotel also caters much more towards French clientele. Could not provide adapter as they do not hold any, also no tea/coffee making facilities in room.

The shower riser was only waist high so could not have a proper shower without having to hand hold the shower head

We paid approx £200 per night for a twin room and were surprised to learn that this did not include access to the in door heated swimming pool & they wanted an extra 20 Euros per person per use to use the pool

The service at the Indian restaurant on the top floor was poor & very rushed they tried clearing the table whilst we were still eating & then issued the bill, one the bill was paid they started turning the lights off, if you want a nice relaxed meal this in not the place, food was mediocre for the price, many more restaurants in Marrakesh which provide super food and service for a similar price.

Overall disappointed

I have searched for a nice hotel inside the Medina but I was a little afraid of reaching them walking at night. So I decided to stay in a hotel not far from the main roads that could be reached even by taxi. So I found Le Jardin that suprised me in different aspects: the inside patio is wonderful, the room was cozy, the breakfast was fantastic and the gastronomy options inside the hotel was amazing. There is only one complain about the indian restaurant: the first night there was a mistake in our bill that was prompetly solved by the manager (they charged two desserts that we hasn't ordered). On another night I invited my Family to have dinner with me (a total of 8 people) and I ordered 4 rice pots as side dishes. The waiter brought 3 and I reminded him about the missing one. He replied that he thought 3 would be fine. Everyone on the table was awared of the happening because I asked everybody if it would be ok. When the bill came, there was 4 rice pots charged on it. Ok it could be a mistake - another one, but ok. Then I called the marrocan hostess and said there was a mistake. She called the waiter and he told her that he had brought 4 pots instead of 3. She seemed to agree with him even my whole family witnessed the fact. At the end, she decided to charge Just 3. The problem was not the mistake. The problem was to face 8 people against one. In a bill that costed us almost 2000 Dirham, it would be not 40 Dirham the main problem. We decided for other restaurants during our stay. Even so the hotel was a great option and I Will recomend it.

Stayed at this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary recently for 3 nights (mid December). The hotel is so fabulous. We were welcomed with mint tea and Moroccan cookies at the lobby.

Thanks for upgrading our room, much appreciated since it was our wedding anniversary. They did not know about it so I guess we were lucky. We were shown around our room by a staff, we didn’t like it how he was expecting a tip once he was done showing us the room. You could just know that he was expecting for a tip.

Another guy came upstairs and deliver our suitcases. He didn’t even expect a tip and just go once done.

The room is excellent, we had the swimming pool as the view. The housekeeping came everyday and put petals on the bed for the first 2 nights. What a nice gesture.

Breakfast was just excellent! Really enjoyed it! Thanks for making our breakfast superb with the crepes, eggs station, fresh fruit juices, selection of Moroccan pastries, etc.

This hotel is situated in Jemma el Fnna, it’s very quiet inside. But once you go out, it’s a circus and completely different.

Went for a facial at their spa. Again, excellent experience. But I didn’t like it how the lady waited for me to put on my clothes once done in the same room. She should have given me the privacy to put my clothes on after the facial. Herbal tea was provided after the treatment at the reception.

First impressions are often right, but not here. Arriving down a dusty street I thought we were in the wrong place, but once through the door you are transported to another world! The reception area is beautiful - dark, sultry and very Moroccan. We had arrived an hour early (despite French air traffic controls best attempts to route us the long way around) but our mini-suite was ready and oh, what a fabulous room! Large, luxurious, well equipped and with rose petals everywhere! Lovely bathroom, lounge area and a private outdoor terrace
Hotel itself is rambling, but lovely. Very quiet despite being right in the centre of Marrakech. Two lovely pools including one on the roof that has the benefit of a gentle breeze. Comfortable sun loungers make it a pleasant place to relax either in the shade or the sun.
Restaurants very good, serving a range of different foods. Also discovered vin gris which is rather good (apologies to any sommeliers for my appalling grasp of wines).
Gorgeous spa area underground. Gym small, warm but perfectly adequate...let's face it, you are unlikely to be spending much time in it!
Helpful staff on reception organised a private tour of the Medina and attractions which was was well worth it.
Overall, a fabulous hotel in a.lively and interesting city.

We came back last weekend and no mention nor any screening or precautions. At airport in Marrakesh u need to fill out questionnaire if you flew in from one of the red zones but never asked for it. Get a guide to travel in the medina and ask for Abdul. Excellent English and nice guy
