We visited as a family of three in mid April. We found the Kenzi Rose Garden hotel a good family hotel in a great location to access the sights and sounds of Medina and nearby shopping centre. The hotel was larger than we expected but the two swimming pools set around a tranquil rose garden made it a very relaxing environment. Our son loved the kids entertainment offering led by a very friendly and helpful Tima, joining the daily football sessions and kids disco in the evening around the pool area. We used the hotel as a base to visit Medina, which was walkable or a short taxi ride away. Our son is a very fussy eater and while my husband and I were happy to try the delightfully varied Moroccan cuisine the Italian restaurant La Terrazza Delle Rose served wonderful Italian food options and the pizza's were excellent authentic Italian style. We had a great room overlooking the centre of the rose garden and a very large balcony area. The Superior room we stayed in was very spacious with a pullout sofa bed for our son. We found all the staff very friendly and welcoming. We stayed during the end of Ramadan and the hotel put on an amazing Eid al-Fitr celebration in its Moroccan restaurant.

So this was our second accommodation within 24 hours of landing in Marrakech. Our first one was horrific (Marrakech Palm Club or Il Morro as it’s sometimes called, avoid at all costs!!!) Anyway we arrived here the day after we landed as an emergency booking for a week due to first apartment being so awful. We explained our situation and they were very friendly and accommodating, they allowed us to eat breakfast straight away even though they didn’t need too. They hurried a room along for us as we couldn’t check in till 3pm but by 2pm we were in our room. It was clean, comfortable and had good facilities. Housekeeping was in daily changing the towels, sometimes they wouldn’t forget to bring clean ones so couple of times we had to call down to reception for someone to bring them but there was never an issue in doing so. Bottled water topped up daily too. The food was average, breakfast was ok, there was choice but not huge amount. Lunch and dinner buffets similar, it was pretty much the same every day, little variation. It was edible though and saw us through the holiday. The staff on reception and the housekeeping ladies were friendly, however some of the bar staff were quite rude, mainly male. Never had any issues with female staff. We visited during Ramadan and we struggled to find places to eat and buy food/drink as they closed at different times. Equally the restaurants on site opened and closed at different times because of this. I know this was our fault as we didn’t check Ramadan before we went and everyone is entitled to their own culture so although frustrating, not really a reflection on the hotel. The location was great, 20 mins walk from Medina, 10 mins walk from shopping mall which had Costa, Burger King, carrefour supermarket, and other places. There was a cafe/restaurant called Paul, which was lovely we went twice during our stay. Overall this hotel was good, in fact in comparison to our first apartment this was 5*.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are delighted to know that our team's responsiveness and friendliness stood out to you, particularly when accommodating your early breakfast and check-in requests. We aim to provide a haven of comfort, and it's heartening to see this reflected in your appreciation for the cleanliness and amenities of your room. While it is pleasing to hear that you found our location convenient and the local amenities such as the shopping mall and restaurants to your liking, we regret to note your experiences with our housekeeping service and the behavior of some bar staff members. Please rest assured that we strive for excellence in all areas of guest service, and your feedback is vital in guiding our continual improvements. Regarding our culinary offerings, we hope to delight our guests with a variety of choices, and it is with regret that we learn our food selection did not meet your expectations. It is also reassuring that despite the unforeseen timing of your visit during Ramadan, our hotel's proximity to the Medina and other attractions contributed positively to your overall experience. We are glad that our hotel served as a significant upgrade from your previous accommodation, and we hope to maintain that high standard in all future stays. We would love to have you return on another occasion. Best regards, Med Chafik MAHFOUD FILALI, General Manager

Did not expect that the hotel would be so big as it was. Two large pool’s, one heated and one that was cold. Many sunbed’s to relax in during the day. The restaurants had great food and the breakfast was good. Close to the Medina which took about 20 minutes to walk to. The female staff at the hotel was really serviceminded and offered us a new room when we had problems with our first room, they always strived to give us as good service as possible. Unfortunatly we had a lot of problem with the male staff. We visited during Ramadan which meant that the closing hours for supermarkets etc was a bit different than normally. At our first day we had been traveling for 11 hours without eating anything and when we arrived at the hotel and asked for food around 17.30 the male staff laughed at us and told us that everything was closed until 19.30 since it is Ramadan. The receptionist told us that the supermarket Carrefour was open so we went there only to find out that it was also closing earlier everyday during Ramadan. The next day they informed us that Roomservice was available at all time. There were a few similar coincidences with other male staff during our stay, which gives the overall picture a lower grade. I was in desperate need of menstrual protection one evening and asked again the male staff (since no woman was working) about were to find it and if the hotel had any to sell. They didn’t even understand what it was and told me to go to a pharmacy or supermarket (but nothing was opened after 17.30!) and in the end I found like a mini-store after walking around for 1,5 hour. The gym at the hotel is OK. The rooms were pretty dusty and the standard in the first room that we had was below average. The other room had a better standard but was still a bit dirty. Overall we would say 3/5.

First time In Marrakech. It was an experience of a lifetime! I will definitely be coming back. All the hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure you had a pleasant stay. So polite and accommodating. My room was beautiful amazing view. Woke up to birds singing every morning and evening. Room was cleaned daily. The food was amazing. I spent a lot of time outside by the pool which was beautiful. The life guard team was very helpful and professional. The atmosphere within the hotel was so relaxing and peaceful. I felt truly relaxed.

This is a large well run hotel. Reception staff a little slow and didn’t explain about the number system for different buildings, however a lovely kitchen staff man came out to help when he saw how lost we were! That said that is our only complaint after a 3 night stay. Rooms are clean, plenty of bedding, a kettle and coffee (I took my own English tea of course!) Breakfast was ok, the freshly made omelettes were gorgeous. We used the pool on the last day and this was lovely too, pool towels provided. You ca

The hotel was nice and clean service really nice where the cleaners would always decorate the bed differently every day, wouldn’t say it’s a 5 star hotel but a top end 4 star hotel, breakfast was the same every morning but can’t complain as it was nice especially fresh omelettes and the fresh doughnuts, the swimming pool was nice but onky 1 out of the 2 is only heated and the time we went it was a little chilly, spa in the hotel was exceptional but little pricy compared to other places might be due to the valentines special at the time, overall good experience and nice get away for 4 days

We spent six nights at the Kenzi Rose Hotel. It's a gorgeous establishment, impeccably clean and fully equipped. The staff were courteous and attentive, and the hotel boasts a lovely garden with seeming pool and a serene ambiance. The breakfast selection was impressive, the food in general was good although it could have been enhanced with more local cuisine and desserts. Its location is incredibly convenient, just a five-minute walk to the local shopping mall and restaurants, and a thirty-minute walk to the town center. Overall, our stay at this hotel was enjoyable, and we highly recommend it.

Lovely stay, the facilities are lovely. 5-10 away from the Medina, perfect location. Facilities are clean and kept amazing. The rooms themselves are a little run down and could do with some time and attention cleaning wise. All in all, would stay again.

The hotel is well situated being an approximate 20 minute walk to the Madina. The pool and garden areas of the hotel are really nice. Downside is that the hotel inside is very basic and unfortunately not very clean. Our pool view room 11008 and the main dining room were the dirtiest room and restaurant we have ever encountered in a hotel. We appreciate this is Morroco and we have been before but they need to address cleanliness. Concierge was super helpful and suggested some great places to eat.
