The hotel was lovely — very unique in design, and comfortable accommodations. And, the staff is very friendly and hospitable. The breakfasts were outstanding. We enjoyed 2 dinners — though one restaurant was ‘international’ and the other ‘Moroccan’, we were surprised that the menus were the same, just the set up and atmospheres were different. Still, the food and service were excellent. The Jazz Bar provided a lovely interlude for us before dinner (after full tour days). Location is central and allowed us to take morning walks to interesting and beautiful sites before our touring began.

Beautiful Hotel! Other than walking down an alley to get to the hotel everything was great. Very nice suite with a very large outdoor terrace. The staff is super nice. The restaurant in the hotel was very good. We ate their twice. Great rack of lamb! The pool in the hotel was a little weird as it is in the middle of the restaurant and the temperature was way to hot. Having said that they have a great pool club about 10-15 minutes away with a nice poolside menu and great staff. They have a shuttle bus to take you back and forth. They also offer a really nice cooking school. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Marrakech.

Beautiful facility but even more impressive is the warmth and kindness of the staff. Unfortunately, I injured my knee prior to my trip and the staff went out of the way to accommodate me and my wife. Raja on her own initiative upgraded us to a first floor suite. Absolutely stunning! Dinner in the restaurant was yummy yummy yummy! Staff were anticipatory of our needs and smiling the whole time! Morrocan hospitality at its best!

Anything you needed, they bent over backwards to assist you. In route I sent an email with questions about tipping, car fare, etc. The response was timely. The room was lovely, quiet, comfortable, and the took our luggage up and down the stairs. The breakfast was tasty. Dinner was as good as any restaurant in town. Staying here is a pleasure as we sipped wine in the courtyard after strolling all day.

Our stay at maison arabe was wonderful.!! The hotel staff were all so kind and helpful and our room was palatial. The king bed was soo comfortable and the bathroom and closets were luxurious with gorgeous wood detailing and a beautiful lamp above our heads. It was the most beautiful and comfortable room we stayed in during our two week trip. We also had a really nice experience at the hammam which was so relaxing, and were able to spend a day by the pool at the secret country club which was serene and beautiful. The experience was 5 stars and we hope to be back very soon! Thank you

This is a great hotel hidden in the alleyways of Marrakech. A gem of the old world with fantastic service from all staff who are happy to organise guides, taxis and restaurants. Nothing was too much. Plus they have an amazing secret - the country club is a 20-30 min shuttle and is. Calm is the middle of chaos. Amazing pool with bar and good lunchtime food. Just what we wanted after sightseeing and the Marrakech crazy

Beautiful hotel very close to the Medina. Each and every member of staff offered exceptional service that made our stay all the more enjoyable. From mint tea served daily in the afternoon through to the hammam and spa treatments, the staff could not do enough to make our stay truly amazing. Our room was beautiful with an outdoor terrace. The hotel has everything you need for a truly memorable stay in Marrakech. My friend and I will be staying again and are already planning our next trip.

La Maison Arabe was an absolute marvelous experience. Upon arrival the staff treat you with such deference and respect. The lime drink and tea were superb. After an informative tour of the premises, we went to our room, which was fabulous. I was appreciative of the decor and amenities. Breakfast was such a great choice. The omelets made to your specifications were a treat. The Moroccan pancakes with Nutella hit the spot. Dinner was also filled with good choices. The deck to go outside the room had a lovely view and was filled with the sounds and sights of Marrakech. The staff was exceedingly gracious and helpful. Always were there for you with a helping hand and a smile. I will forever have such a good feeling for the riad but also for the people of Morocco. Such great role models! Thank you for all your kindnesses. Linda Hammond

My sister and I took a cooking class today and it was a FANTASTIC experience! The staff was warm and friendly. We started by watching traditional tea being made, which we were able to enjoy while being educated on the key spices that inform Moroccan cuisine. Then, we got to watch (and smell) bread being made from scratch. Then we cooked a super-delicious (and I mean DE-LICIOUS) meal. We made chicken tagine, an eggplant and tomato side dish and tomato/roasted pepper salad. I cannot share how wonderful everything was. Oh, and they even made fresh gluten free bread upon request. And, they offered to allow me to make my meal vegetarian. This is a MUST DO experience during time in Marakech.
