Hotel's Favourite
The staff were so polite and accommodating during my stay. The hotel has a great outdoor patio that is the perfect place to relax at night.
Parking is complimentary with plenty of available on both sides. Room and bathroom had a lot of space.
I would stay here again.

This is a very good hotel. The room is spacious with a desk and seating area, the bathroom is also a very good size. The beds are comfortable. The staff is polite and nice. I would give Hampton Inn five stars but I am disappointed with the breakfast. Because of coronavirus the hotel makes ready to go packages for the guests. The package contains muffins, a cookie, and a bottle of water. You can also take mandarins, cereal and milk. The breakfast was exactly the same every day. no varieties. Last two days of our stay there was no yogurt. I believe breakfast could be better and should vary from day to day. Also the number of towels should be equal or more than the number of guests in the room, the guests should not have to ask for more towels. Everything else was fine.

We arrived mid-afternoon and received, upon request, an upgrade to a huge room. We also received a bag of goodies on arrival. At first, I thought there were only 2 Diamond parking spaces but saw 2 more of other side later. When we arrived, we parked in one, but when we returned from dinner, the parking lot was very full and we had to park on backside of hotel. The hotel is located about 100 yards off the main street and very near I-20 so there can be noise!..
The room had a comfortable bed, but as usual at Hampton Inn, the pillows were small and too soft! There was only a shower. The toilet sometimes wouldn't reset so the handle had to be jiggled at times. We were in Room #432 and had enough room to have a square dance! We were at the end of the hall, and it was mostly quiet. We got a good price even though the hotel appeared to be full.
Breakfast was as expected at a Hampton Inn. I had an omelet with cut up Kielbasa plus a strawberry flavored batter waffle w sugar free syrup. The expected sausage and gravy was not present! They had bottled water plus pastries in plastic wrap with bread slices for toast. Hampton Inn's breakfast is a step below its competitor, Holiday Inn Express.
In summary, this hotel ranks high in Augusta is less than a mile from my 94 year old aunt's house (the reason for the quick visit). I also was able to visit with a friend who moved here 2 years ago. If back in the area, I may try another Hilton brand or even an IHG brand at this exit! Overall, a good stay!

I have stayed at this hotel at least 10 times in the past. I realize times are tough with this pandemic but don’t cheat your guests. After being away all day visiting family we came back to a room not touched by housekeeping. Room not clean, no fresh towels, and no spare roll of TP. Went to the front desk to enquire the front desk clerk handed me a roll of TP and said rooms were only to be cleaned every 4 days for extended stay or when a guest checked out. Really??? Where does it say that on the online booking or at the front desk when checking in?
When I mentioned I was being charged the same price for a dirty room as a clean room he just shrugged his shoulders and said “ New Corporate Policy “. I have cancelled 2 future bookings for July and will destroy my Hilton Honors card.

Overall, our stay was just fine, & I’ll elaborate on that in a bit. Our room was desperately in need of attention. The light fixtures were rusty, the wallpaper was peeling and there was a big chunk that had come out of a ceiling tile. This particular hotel is utilized by The Masters golf tournament visitors. During Masters week, this hotel charges $700-1,000/night, so with the amount of money this hotel is generating, there’s no excuse for these rooms to be in this condition!
On a positive note, the common areas were very nice and well kept. Lisa, the lady who tended the breakfast and dining areas, was awesome! Lisa was always wiping areas down and keeping the food items replenished. She was very friendly to the guests and was constantly going around taking guests’ empty plates and asking if they needed anything. All the employees we encountered, were very pleasant and professional.

I was very disappointed, as I did not see additional cleaning measures being taken. I did not see any evidence of cleaning of common areas. Tables in the lobby area were filthy, and no staff members were wiping down elevator areas. We had stayed at another hotel in Augusta in July, and their staff was constantly cleaning high-touch surfaces.
Our room had not been vacuumed prior to us arriving, and we had to request it be done. The room itself, other than the carpet, appeared to be clean.

Restrooms near lobby on first floor needed cleaning., told desk attendant and the next day the mens room looked the same and the ladies room was still out of paper towels.
The hotel was older and had a slight musty smell.
It was difficult getting in and out of this hotel due to the location of the entrance being right off the highway close to a busy traffic light. Dont believe I would stay here again.

We stayed at this property for one night on our way home from vacation. The property is located on Washington Road which has to be the most crowded from a traffic perspective in all of Augusta. Even though it is set back a bit from the road, the road noise at night was a bit much. Fortunately, the loud air conditioning system helped to alleviate most of the road noise but I would be concerned to stay there when air conditioning is not required. I was also disappointed that breakfast only consisted of a brown bag and a sausage biscuit. Of course, the brown bags were all gone when we came down so basically breakfast was not included. The property did a great job implementing virus safety precautions, and we always felt safe. Overall, this stay was a bit disappointing.

The hotel looked clean and it appeared to be fine for a short night stay. However, we pulled back the covers and there were 3 long curly hairs on the sheets. We didn’t know if this came from housekeeping when they put the sheets on or if the sheets had not been changed from the previous guests! We laid towels on the sheets and slept on top of them. Also, we had to get out of bed 3 times during the night and pull the fitted sheet back over the mattress. I politely told the desk clerk when I checked out that our stay was great except for the problem with the bed and explained. She basically asked me if I wanted her to do anything about it. Not wanting to appear to be one of those people who try to get everything free, I replied that it would be up to her to decide that. She offered no concession and apparently didn’t want to do any thing about it. Would chose hotels differently next time.

Great 2 night stay in Augusta. Staff all very friendly and helpful other that one lady the first morning working/?supervising the continental breakfast our first morning. We had been told breakfast lasted until 10a but on arrival at 9:45 were told all the waffles, grits and oatmeal were packed up at 9:45 so the area could be cleaned up by 10--guess she had somewhere else to be @10?! Please post the hours you really plan to serve breakfast! This lady was the only rude employee we met there during our stay but is why I can only give 4*.

I'm pretty certain that there is not a hot tub at this location.
I know it's a nonsmoking hotel and I don't remember seeing pets on any of my visits so I'm inclined to say no they don't.
