The hotel is fine. It's in a good location. The free breakfast is fine and the evening social (which is only done on one weekday since Covid) is also fine. Fitness center has a couple of treadmills, an elliptical, and hand weights.
If you want your room refreshed daily, look elsewhere as the front desk will more than likely tell you that they might not get to you due to them lacking housekeeping staff. It's been this way the last few times we've stayed.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying 2 nights here in a 1 bedroom suite for a Valentine get away.
We were welcomed and thanked by Zach upon our arrival.
Our suite was ready early and we found it to be well appointed, clean and comfortable. We slept well and enjoyed reading the complimentary WSJ with our delicious breakfast which included:
fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, french toast, grits, a variety of cold cereals, bagels, muffins and bread for toasting, waffles, an assortment of yogurts and juices.
We felt the location was perfect for us as we were minutes from the Riverwalk.. the mall of Augusta and fine restaurants.
We are Diamond members and felt very appreciated by Zach:)
We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when in the area:)

We were in town to attend a visitation and a funeral. We asked for an early check-in so that we could change clothes before the visitation. It was pouring rain and we were exhausted. The hotel had been full the night before, so we were worried that our request would not be able to be filled. However, the staff was kind and helpful and worked us in shortly after lunch. Amazing customer service!

I give it a 5 only because I love Homewood Suites, however I give it a 2 because it’s not advertised anywhere except when you check in that there is no breakfast, only a granola bar, an apple and water as your breakfast in a brown bag. There is no housekeeping service either during your stay, if you need more towels, toilet paper, etc you have to go to the desk to get more. The lounge area where breakfast usually is is completely closed off . There are coffee machines in each room, I just enjoyed having breakfast in the lobby, with my coffee. I understand about the changes with the virus but bare bones isn’t the way to go.

Stayed at the Homewood Suites, while we were there we had some car trouble and we’re suppose to be checking out Saturday night. Tiera the booking specialist was awesome she listened to our situation, empathized with our situation and even though they were booked she worked it out to make sure that our family ( which consisted of 2 adults and 2 teens) had some where to rest our heads with room and weren’t all cramped up. Stephanie our housekeeper was excellent. Our room was clean. Whenever we had a request she was so accommodating. We are so thankful for the astonishing service that we received.😁

I stayed at the Homewood Suites in Augusta, Ga March 2023. Tiera and Destiny were on the front desk and were very helpful getting me checked in and sharing local information so I could better understand the area and plan my visit accordingly. They are truly an asset to the Homewood Suites team and I really appreciate their help. As for the hotel, it is very clean, great area to access the major roads like I-20 and Washington roads. The suites are very roomy, beds/pillows are very comfortable and the hotel is quiet at night. I would definitely stay here on my next visit to Augusta, Ga.

Was very disappointed with our stay at this property. We are Diamond members and were not recognized at check in. The AC was off in the hallways and it was almost oppressive walking to the room. The property is somewhat run down and not tot he HIlton standards. We could not get the Wi-Fi to work in the room originally and when we inquired, the gentleman at the desk acted like we didn’t know what we were doing. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast. It was well prepared and looked and tasted fresh.

This hotel was a let down. The staff was nice, but that’s the only thing that was nice about this hotel. The two-bedroom / two bathroom suite was spacious and the beds were comfortable, but EVERYTHING was broken, outdated and needed replacement. One toilet wouldn’t flush because the handle / lever was broken. It didn’t get fixed until the 5th day of being there. The suite had broken drawers, leaky shower and tub faucets, the ironing board was broken and had to be rigged to stand up, the iron was missing buttons, two outlets didn’t work at all, the legs on the only chair in the living room were facing the same direction (broken), the air/heat only worked in one bedroom and the living room, so my husband and I froze every night and morning in our bedroom and bathroom, the carpet was sticky in spots and felt disgusting…( I kept my shoes on), the wooden floor pieces in the kitchen were loose and broken, the carpet had pulls as of a cat sharpened it’s claws on it, the bedroom with the king bed had zero closets, the ceiling fan had cardboard wedged between it and the ceiling, the HDMI plugs did not work on one TV, the laundry room was out of service for the full 9 day stay, the furniture was beat up and outdated. However, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was nice and polite. I’m not sure what conditions the other rooms were in, but this one was trash. There were so many things wrong with the room that I was in disbelief. Overall, the hotel is not worth the price At All. I woke up thinking I was at Motel 6. I was extremely disappointed, especially since I had to live with the fact that I just paid Hilton to be uncomfortable and frustrated during my vacation.
