Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Overall this was decent value for money as one of the cheapest places in and around Augusta.
The room was very basic and although non-smoking, someone had definitely been smoking in there in the past.
Either the room wasn't cleaned properly or the cleaning products they use left a slightly tacky film on the floors and table.
Comfortable bed.
Sound insulation between rooms wasn't great.
The reception staff are friendly enough if you are friendly to them but being the cheapest place around, they obviously encounter some customers with less than perfect manners.

I stayed 7 nights and got charged for 8, booked for 8 but my customer didn't quite have enough work so I ended up checking out a day early. Was told no refunds so they billed me for the room I'm not using. Killed 3 roaches, 2 I couldn't reach. Didn't clean before I checked in, big hairball on the floor. Didn't service room while I was there. Bed was thin with no support. Kept getting woke within the 2-4am time block by people.

When I first arrived (3:15 pm) the lobby was packed and they were turning people away. I told them rather than my two night stay I will do one night with my family. They said they could do that but that my room was not cleaned to come back in 3 hours. I’m order to save my room I had to go ahead a pay for it and they would give me the key when I got back. So we left and walked around the mall and returned around 6:30 pm I went in got my key and my brother and I walked up to the room. When we walked in there was and odor but I was like hey it’s motel 6. We walked into the bathroom the shower floor had busted and wasn’t in working order and there were roaches in the bathroom. So we walked back into the main area of the room and a roach was on the wall. I went to kill it and it fell behind the refrigerator. When I move the refrigerator easily 30 roaches were underneath. I went down to the desk and I was explaining the problem. The lady at the desk said “you know we ain’t got nowhere else to put you so don’t even ask.” I told her I was not asking for another room but a refund. She proceeded to call her manager and who then informed me they would not give me a refund but a voucher for a nights stay at motel 6. I still am working on getting this resolved. So don’t waste your time.

I looked nice.
It was clean and the room was clean.
Somewhat of a language barrier with the personnel.

However the biggest disappointment was we went to lunch and requested no service.
We had two small dogs with us so we didn't want service.

At the last minute we took the dogs with us.

When we came back from lunch and found a set of towels were on the unmade bed.
The dirty towrls were still there and the garbage was full.
We asked for no service so that wasn't a problem. When we came back the light was on and it looked like everything was rearranged.
That evening when my friend went to take his medicine his special bag he keeps his medicine in was open inside his big bag.
He had a full prescription of painkillers minus 6 he had taken.

All but 15 we're missing along with 3 other medications.

We called the front on the desk and they couldn't understand our complaint.

We called the police and they were at our door almost immediately.
They were already on site for another problem.
They took a police report and told us how to get a copy.
They were very nice. It was Thanksgiving and I am sure they had better things to do.

It was our fault leaving anything of value in our room.

I don't leave Money or cameras but I hadn't thought someone would steal prescription.

So beware and take anything if value with you.
Anything.

We won't get any resolution but the poluce patiently took our report.
