Detailed Reviews
We were staying in Augusta for one night before a business meeting the next day. We often book with Hampton Inn and generally have a good experience. The location was good for us and we found the establishment clean and the staff helpful and friendly. Check-in was smooth. The only place I found that had not been cleaned was under the chair cushion in our room. I always inspect the room well so as not to leave small items behind and there was food crumbs under the cushion. The bed was comfortable and the sheets clean and crisp. The shower was great with strong pressure and temperature. The air conditioner worked well but was a little loud. The complementary breakfast was good for how things are during this pandemic. There was a fair selection of food available including hot food and the coffee was good. The food is served cafeteria style rather than self serve as it was before Covid. There was some road noise but the A.C. blower helped drown that out. Overall a good stay and we would stay here again and would recommend this Hampton to others.

Carlos was very accommodating when we came in that night. He made sure we had enough linen, and he asked if there was anything else we needed just call him. The breakfast was great as well. A variety of options and I like the CDC safety precautions provided at the breakfast area. Great service.

Easy to find on south side of Augusta off Hwy 520. Check-in was quick, friendly and easy. Clean rooms, usual nice Hilton beds and comforter. Fair/heat worked to keep us comfy and hardly heard the thunderstorm in the middle of the night. Breakfast Hostess was as attentive and careful as you'd hope. Food was the usual, but hot, and dining area continuously wiped down. A pleasant stay.

I will not stay at this hotel again. The room service was pretty good but they didn’t change my sheets once during my three week stay. The gym stayed out of water, the Internet was mediocre, the front desk workers seemed to always have family members there, the laundry’s washers and dryers were terrible, the hallways stunk and you will sleep in uncomfortable beds. I would try the Homewood Suites behind the Hampton if location near the base is important.

Our stay was great. We arrived a couple of hours early from Baltimore for a funeral and were allowed to check in early. That was greatly appreciated. The staff was very nice & respectful & the room was very clean. The price was affordable and the only issue we had was the WiFi service. I would certainly recommend and stay again.

This looked like a great hotel. I'll never know because we won't work with them again. We did a same-day booking at this hotel for one of our pilots and immediately realized it was in the wrong city. TOTALLY OUR FAULT! But we called back within 3 minutes of making the reservation and were refused the ability to cancel and either get our money back or have it transferred to another property. The manager refused to be reasonable and held to their policy. Completely their right to do. We messed up, but not making an exception for 3 minutes is a little ridiculous.

First the front desk staff was great very friendly and ultimately helpful after BED BUGS where found. They let us check out early without penalty as expected when something like this happens.
My coworker found them in his room and has suffered multiple bites all over his body. He was told the manager would be in touch with him, he reached out to them by text, call, and email with no response. You would think you would like to take care of a consumer that was effected in this way. As of today he has not heard from them and has reached out to the corporate office.
On a side note the rooms smell musty like they have had water damage or a leak at some point, but at least my room didn't have bed bugs so there is a bright side.

The staff and management at the Hampton Inn Augusta are friendly, helpful, and go the extra mile. The hotel is close to I-520 making it convenient for the general Augusta area.
While I do wish they had a greater variety of healthy options and fresh fruit at the included breakfast, the offerings were well prepared and the warm food was good and warm.
I'd definitely stay here again when traveling to the Augusta area!

The hotel is located conviniently close to Ft. Gordon, so great if you have business at Ft. Gordon. It is right next to the relatively busy Gordon Highway, but in my experience, the rooms are quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful. I have been using this hotel since it opened. It is a newer Hampton Inn, but starts sporting a bit a more tired appearance. After Covid, housekeeping was reduced to once every 5 days. You can ask for more, but in my experience, the requests are ignored. Overall, I didn't find the room all that clean. There is no "store" in the hotel, but a larger gas station just next to the hotel has everything you would find in a hotel store. Breakfast is in line with other Hampton Inn locations.

We grabbed a last minute room while in town visiting family but the experience wasn’t 100%. The check in process was easy and fast. The young lady that checked us in was absolutely wonderful! The next morning we are using the shower but the water was filling up in the tub. IT NEVER DRAINED the entire time I was in the shower. My husband calls the front desk and they send maintenance to begin to fix the issue and it’s almost check out time. So I call the front desk and ended up speaking to the GM of the hotel. I asked if we can have an extended check out. She said absolutely not. So I begin to explain the situation and maintenance was literally in the room and we couldn’t prepare to leave. She says no we don’t have enough staff for that. She didn’t emphasize with the situation of having messed up plumbing. She didn’t even attempt to accommodate us in any way! I’m extremely disappointed with the service received especially from a GM! I won’t stay again
