Detailed Reviews
My family's experience at this location was what I have come to expect from Hampton. Clean room, clean facilities and a nice breakfast selection which saved us from spending additional money on breakfast for 5. The location is convenient to I20 and local restaurants are close. The staff at this location were all very friendly and quick to smile and help.

First time staying at a Hampton Inn in Augusta. The room appeared to have been renovated recently, but there were still signs of wear and tear in the bathroom. The positives: Friendly staff at check-in, water was hot, water pressure was excellent, bed was comfortable.
The negatives: 1) limited parking. There are about a dozen parking spaces in the front of the hotel, but at least three of those are for Diamond members. You could also park on the side of the hotel. Just don't park in the Waffle House parking lot next door. 2) The lighting in the room is inadequate (even with the curtains open it was dark). There is a small desk lamp and the lights by the bed. I had to get a new desk lamp since the one in the room wasn't working. Went to the front desk to ask for a new lamp. The clerk said one would be delivered to my room. No lamp after 2 hours so went back to the front desk to ask again. It was another 20 mins before they brought the lamp to the room. 3) If you need to do any work, the room has a small desk area which is right at the end of the bed so not much space. Overall not good for working. 4) Noisy A/C unit which is probably due to its age. Might be time to replace it.
Overall it was okay, but I will stay at a different hotel on my next visit.

Accommodations and initial customer contact excellent. Nice room, clean, and spacious. All outlets and appliances worked. However, no room service was provided or notification for lack of service given at check-in. After being informed that service must be requested the day before, we did so next two nights, but still no service was provided. Had to get towels refreshed at the front desk. Service restrictions allegedly due to Covid, although no masks, social distancing, or proof of vaccination were required (thank God)

We have stayed in a lot of Hampton Inns and this one by far has been the worst. There are no seals to show that the rooms are clean and sanitized; you can’t use your phone to open your room - you have to get a key; while taking a shower the tub was filling up with water and not going down the drain; the room and hallways did not look clean and the hotel is very outdated; no snacks or drinks were available to purchase; as a diamond member you are given snacks when coming in - this one did not have any; the air conditioner was extremely loud and the front desk said they were booked so we couldn’t trade rooms. Overall, I would not recommend this motel as a nice, clean place to stay!

When I arrived I found it hard to find a place to park and had to circle around to find the correct place for the Hampton Inn parking. I had to wait 25 minutes to be checked in even though I’ve made my reservations through the Hilton app. Upon check-in I was informed that my room would not be ready and was given a different room, a downgraded room. The room was dirty, with pieces of food all over the floor and other trash like they didn’t own a vacuum cleaner. There was no towels so I went to the front desk and asked for towels and was given towels, I did not say anything about the condition of the room as it was late and I was tired. I also cannot cancel and did not want to go looking for another hotel so I laid my towels on the floor to walk on after I took a shower. I wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me too.

The location is great. Everything else just plain sucks. We only stayed here a night and would’ve chosen elsewhere if I would have know. For starters, the hallways are HOT. Like walking in to a sauna every time you leave your room and because of it, they smell like an 8th grade locker room. Our room had an adjoining room door and someone put a hole in it. Apparently the cleaning staff thought shoving the hole full of tissue paper was satisfactory. However the people on the other side of the door could easily push it through to see in our room.
The bathroom was the best part of the stay. Very clean and no mold in the shower. I don’t expect that to last much longer since there is not vent in the bathroom. So if you stink it up, your whole room is going to smell too. When we called to ask for more towels since there was only 1 in our room, hotel staff said we had to retrieve our own and we were only allowed to use pool towels. Their pool towels are MUCH smaller than the towels they offer in room.
The indoor pool is not heated and is so cold. At the time of our stay, the hot tub was not working.
This was the worst hotel we stayed at on our 2400+ mile round trip. I don’t ever leave reviews but i felt compelled to do it would save you the trouble.

Please do yourself a favor and don’t book a room here. Everything was terrible except the big tv that my toddler enjoyed watching on and the “ok” breakfast they offered.
Customer service sucks, dirty bathroom particularly the bath tub (I have pictures of it without water and when it clogged), two towels for a family of 4, cheap and not a whole toilet paper roll (looks like from a dollar store)

Parking at this hotel is TERRIBLE. There are only a few spaces. To get to the front of the hotel you have to walk up a steep incline, terrible if you have luggage and knee problems. Location is not bad, right off the interstate. Rooms are large, but dingy, old, dirty. Staff is okay, not rude but not welcoming. Stains on the sheets are nasty. This hotel is not up to date and does not let you use your phone to unlock the door. I will not stay here again. I have been to Augusta many times and this is the worst hotel I have stayed at. The positive side is there is a waffle house next door if you are hungry. If you are here for work, the internet sucks and the business center is closed. The pantry does not really offer much.

This hotel was clean and well kept. While the rooms were updated and very nice, the most notable part of the experience was the staff. They were all amazing! Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful. No one ever passed us without speaking to us with a kind greeting or asking if we needed anything. Will definitely stay here next time I am in Augusta.

I could tell they recently upgraded the rooms. The room was clean and set to a comfortable temp. They stuck me in an adjoining room and the people next to me were very loud. They did not go to sleep until after 1am and were up at 3am and 5am. It was very distracting, but I did not report it. The front desk rep in the morning told me I should have called down and they would have moved me. Next time, I will ask to be moved. Excellent stay other than inconsiderate neighbors.

This Inn has a no pet policy but doesn't enforce it.
Hi Paspadaro,
We do indeed have accessible rooms, and I am currently showing that we do indeed have an accessible room with 2 queen beds for arrival on July 31, departing August 6. The room will sleep up to 4 persons. If you would like, please give us a call at the hotel directly, and we would be more than happy to reserve this for you.
Thanks for your question and have a great day!
