When we arrived our room was not ready, this was at. 6pm. We booked the deluxe suite and since our room wasn't ready they tried to put us in a regular king room. That room was too small, we went back and said we wanted our room but was told we booked the Jr suite, we showed them from our confirmation that we booked the deluxe suite. We were told it wasn't available and they were sorry. No refunds of the difference were offered or any type of comp was offered either. The lady at the front was not very ppl friendly, the available parking is very LIMITED. Overall we are very disappointed in every about this experience. And sadly, we won't be returning to this particular hotel again. On a personal note, please bring your own tissue paper, you'll thank me later!

Staff shortages and other COVID-19-related issues have created many challenges in the service industry. However, my recent stay at this property was below the standards I have experienced since the pandemic began. The smoke detector was malfunctioning, and could not be repaired during our stay. The staff said the only solution was to remove to battery, to prevent it from beeping. The halls needed to be vacuumed, and we were given very little toilet tissue in the restroom.

Wingate by Wyndham Augusta Washington Road was generally a nice place to stay. The staff that dealt with my group was very pleasant. I experienced a few very minor issues that the cleaning staff had missed when preparing the room prior to or stay. That being said the room was comfortable a clean. Breakfast had a variety of choices (cereal, fruit, eggs & sausage, bagels, muffins) and was also good

The hotel was clean. The staff was great. It was the first time a staff member asked me what was most important in a hotel room. He then selected a room based on my answers. I told him the most quiet as we were travel weary. It was very quiet. Rooms were updated. Large TV's, refrigerator, all the hotel conveniences. The bed was comfortable. Price was good for the accomodations.
Most important to me was the bathroom was clean on every corner of the floor and the door was clean on both sides. The breakfast area was neat , modern and clean. Well set up.
There is an elevator to second floor and parking is very convenient.
Within two block area there were five steak restaurants. We tried three of them, but the lines were long and we did not want to wait 30 plus minutes. We chose T-Bonz - great meal.

They had not cleaned the shower. I was promised that someone would come to clean the shower in 15min, and not only did no one show up, but they literally didn't clean the room at all. I was switched to another room after asking for a solution. The room they switched me to had a toilet with human waste dried inside the toilet, old urine and hair on the toilet seat. The General Manager Sabrina was extremely rude and refused to refund my money as "she already paid commissions on it". The free breakfast was suppose to end at 10am, however it ended at 9:45am, so get there early as you might miss it. A random loud knock happened in the early hours of the night. I heard a woman's voice, so I got up. When I got up no one was there. The carpet in both rooms and the hallway is extremely stained, and looks unsanitary. Don't stay here. Not even if they charge $20.00 a night. Not worth it. The pictures look nice. The pictures a very deceiving. The General Manager Sabrina should not lead a normally well ran hotel. You have been warned.

We made reservations with a valid credit card 2 months before our initial stay. The morning of our stay, I called the hotel to let them know that we would be late checking in, but we’d be there. We arrived at 11:50p to be told that our room was double booked & we were left without a place to stay at midnight with our 6 month old son. Therefore we stayed out until 1 am trying to find another hotel with an available room. We ended up at another Wingate & had to pay an extra $60 for someone else’s mistake! I reached out to corporate & the general manager for this location & was told that there was nothing that could be done as far as getting refunded the difference for something that we had no control over. We had done our part by booking months in advance with reservations to our card & even called to let them know we were still coming. All in all, just BEWARE or you’ll be left without a room at midnight & nothing will be done about it.

I arrived to check into the hotel around 2:45pm and the clerk denied me to check in 15 minutes early. I told him I was a reward member and he stated I still had to wait. I should have looked for another hotel because the clerk clothes looked unkept and dirty. When I finally checked in the room it looked dirty and red stains was throughout the room. I called the front desk to let him know and he told he thought house keeping cleaned the floor. He sent a maintenance technician and he said he haven’t got around to cleaning it and I had to stop him at the door due to not wearing a face mask. I decided not to stay there because of the hotel conditions and customer service. I explained to the clerk why I couldn’t stay in those conditions. This has been the worst hotel stay I can remember.

Probably the worst experience I've had. The doors are falling off the hinges. I couldn't even close the door in my room. They don’t have toothpaste or shampoo. I had to go look around the stores nearby until I finally found some. But by the time I finally found some toothpaste and shampoo, I went back to my room and by the time I got there they kicked me out of the room because I had to check out by 11 that's before I could even take shower or brush my teeth. I even offer to pay a late fee just so that I could brush my teeth and the guy at the front desk refused and told me he was going to charge me for another night if I stayed there any longer. This had never happened to me before. The managers are rude/disrespectful they don’t try to help you out, I’m sure I’m not the only one with an unpleasant experience at this place. I honestly wouldn't stay at place like this ever again, I would rather sleep in my car. I feel like I would’ve had a better experience at any other hotel around the area.

The property was touted as a 3.5 star property and was a 2 at best. I won't go into all the details but the hallway and room smelled. The toilet "ran" until you took off the tank top and jiggled the chain. Never fixed even though we asked them to. The ice machine on our floor did not work and there were dead bugs in the bottom of it. The ice machine on the 1st floor had towels on the floor in front of it like it was maybe leaking. There were bugs in the bottom of that one too. There were tears in the window shades, there was a shampoo bottle on the top rim of the tub which told me they did not thoroughly clean it after the last guest but the topper was when we discovered black mold on the ceiling above the bed. My husband went down and talked to the front desk. Refused to give us the name or number of a manager. They called the owner and he refused to talk to my husband. Offered to move us to another room but my husband asked if they could guarantee it would be mold free (I have asthma) as was told they could not guarantee that. They refused to give us a refund so we just left and drove the almost 6 hours home because we were so upset that they would not give us our refund. I have since read many more terrible review so I would definitely NOT recommend this facility.

accompanied my husband on a overnight business trip. This hotel was booked by his cooperate travel department. He had stayed here a year ago when it was new and had better management, so we were expecting to atleast be in a clean and newer environment. Upon stepping into the building and onto the elevator, we were overwhelmed by the smell of bug spray. As we were walking to our room, we noticed the carpet was fairly new, but terribly stained and looked as if it had not been vacuumed in a year. Upon entering our room, the carpet looked the same, newer, but stained and not vacuumed. I pulled back the sheets and nearly vomited. It was obvious someone had slept it the bed. There were crumbs and stains on the fitted sheet. The comforter had blood stains on it and the edges of the comforter looked as if it had not bed washed in a year. We were horrified and checked out immediately.
The manager and the other person at the counter never came up to see what our complaint was. We came back downstairs to find the manager folding sheets and towels in the lobby. She had a tacky rag on her head looking like she just woke up. I showed her pictures of the filth and she never apologized or seemed surprised. She stated the stains were burns from the dryer, bull crap!! The sad part about this hotel is it has potential, but the management is so ghetto and trifling that it doesn't stand a chance. I blame the owner because someone should be looking at how this place is managed. The new updates to the hotel are ruined by the filth. Rotating filthy sheets is a health hazard!! I guess people have to do what they can afford, but take your own comforter, sheets, lysol, Bleach, etc if this is your only option. We will never set foot in this place again.
