Nice Marriott Hotel near UGA campus. The hotel has a nice lobby, helpful staff and very comfortable rooms. The hotel was extremely clean. The electronic key for my room would not work. The breakfast was VERY disappointing Overall good stay
This hotel is fantastic! It is very well appointed and clean. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I want to give special thanks to Alison, the Director of Sales, & Sam the Chief Engineer, for making my trip so special. Both of these employees really impressed me. I watched as the dealt with different guests throughout my visit, and their sincere and genuine willingness to accommodate their guests needs was refreshing.
Stayed several times over the course of 2020. Greeting and welcome by front desk staff virtually nonexistent each time we checked in, elite status was not acknowledged or recognized. Front desk staff seemed younger and inexperienced. Busy property conveniently located next to campus and downtown. Double queen bed rooms are larger than king bed rooms. Nice shower in the bathroom, but no fan. Air conditioner blows directly on bed it’s closest to and that was unpleasant. Lots of open space inside the lobby area and some outside to sit with friends. Breakfast buffet was good before pandemic closed it down. Although friendly, housekeeping is inconsistent and is an ongoing issue here. I like the location and layout, but staffing needs help.
2nd visit to the SpringHill Suites on Hull Street. We stayed here for the UGA versus UT football game. This is a perfect location. Easy walk to all of the great downtown bars and restaurants. Room was very quiet which was great considering the hotel was full. Breakfast was limited due to Covid, however Ana and Janeth went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed. All surfaces were clean and social distancing practices were observed. The staff is very well trained. Parking garage is convenient.
Nice, clean, spacious, convenient to downtown and campus, staff is great. Manager was kind enough to find us two rooms across the hall from one another on a busy game weekend so our family could be close by. Our new Athens go-to hotel.
