Detailed Reviews
Our stay at Villa Boscardi was amazing! We had planned to stay only one night before taking the water taxi to San Pedro the next morning. This bed and breakfast was very clean and quiet. The grounds were beautifully kept, with a nice little courtyard just past a security gate and a plunge pool around back. Smokeez restaurant was less than a 5 minute walk and there was also a grocery store within walking distance which made it easy to get some Belizean cash at the ATM. The location was a perfect spot right near the ocean, and was a quick drive from the airport. The next morning, breakfast was wonderful, and they arranged a taxi to take us to the water taxi. All of the staff were great! I would most definitely stay here again when in Belize City!

Jolene is a wonderful host of this hidden gem. We were staying just one night before flying to Dangriga. This quiet, super clean B &B with a lovely courtyard was only a 15-minute drive from BZE and was a perfect spot a block from the ocean. All the staff are friendly and personable, and they kindly allowed us to check in a little early and check out a little late, which was much appreciated in the rain. They even arranged a taxi to take us back to the airport. Coffee and breakfast were tasty and filling, and the Smokeez restaurant and a grocery are less than five minutes walk away. If in Belize City, definitely stay here!

The Villa Boscardi is in a quite and safe residential neighborhood in Belize City and we enjoyed three nights there. The owner, Francoise is very friendly and recommended two wonderful day-long tours for us. Our room was one of the smallest available, but still was not lacking in any convenience. The staff was extremely friendly and served a delicious and relaxed breakfast every morning, which included eggs, a breakfast meat, some sort of bread and fresh fruit. Should I travel to Belize City again, there is no where else I would consider staying.

This is my first time in a B&B. I must write: The staff are beyond exceptional! Carlette is a gem. She checks on all guests, very attentive, makes breakfast meals to align with allergy restrictions. It really gets no better than Carlette. Carla is the most cheery individual. She is like a song bird in the morning. As our breakfast host, we look forward to seeing her face. Carlette and Carla work so well together. They even helped a couple celebrate their two-person wedding ceremony and took photos for them. That kind of service is unheard of. Jobie is the manager, and is quiet, but she addresses issues if there are any. Jobie assisted my colleague while she wasn't feeling well, late at night. She walked down from her room in her night lounge attire. That is service.
For the Owner: There are structural issues to address. 1. Room 4, the shower head needs to be changed. There is limestone buildup (or just old), which is not removed with bleach (I tried). Also, the air does not fully cool, check the a/c. 2. Room 6, there is a moldy odor and the air does not work properly. My colleague had to change rooms. 3. Room 7, repair the separated sheetrock on the wall beside the bed. My second colleague was not happy and for the nightly price, the room needs to be a room you would sleep in. They both changed rooms and shared the room that was available.
Would I stay at this B&B again, if the staff is here - yes. If in a room, outside of the rooms with issues, yes. It is the staff that make this B&B.

The owner and people working at the Villa were gracious and helpful. A tasty, freshly-cooked breakfast is included, available from 7 am to 8:30 am. It was nice to have kitchen privileges, and the room contained both a mini refrigerator and a kettle to make tea or coffee. I expect there is some variation from room to room. Our air conditioned room had several small inconveniences. There was a large gap between the mattress and the bed’s headboard, so pillows and/or heads fell into it. We could not get the lamp behind the bed to work. The main light switches are awkwardly placed across the room from the entry doorway. And, the sliding bathroom door had no handle, making it tricky to open when it was closed.

Thanks to Villa Boscardi, I had the best birthday of my life! The owner, Ms. Lays made me feel like family, long before my arrival. I spoke with her several times before my stay to discuss accommodations and excursions, and she basically planned my entire week long trip. She gave awesome recommendations for everything from car rentals, restaurants, transportation, activities, and sight seeing. The recommendations she gave allowed my friends and I to cut costs so that we could get the most bang for our buck. We were able to do so much, and I truly feel it would not have been possible without her thoughtful guidance, even taking the liberty to book excursions for us.
The rooms and common areas are very clean and well lit. There is hand sanitizer available everywhere and temperatures are checked upon arrival. I know that traveling during the pandemic was risky, so thankfully Villa Boscardi did their part to make us feel safe.
The housekeeper, Kendra, was TRULY AMAZING! She went above and beyond and always gave service with a smile (you can tell when someone is smiling through a mask). She made the most amazing breakfast every day, with variety, each equally as delicious as the next. I can honestly say that her breakfast was one of the best parts of the trip. She also gave great recommendations for must try food around the city that the locals love. Her recommendations did not disappoint.
I don’t like to travel to the same country more than once, because there are so many places I’d like to see, however after staying at Villa Boscardi, I’m contemplating another trip to Belize. I absolutely loved it here and would recommend to anyone looking for a charming, home away from home feel. You’ll know and feel that they truly care about yourself experience at every level.

We came to Belize for a 5 night stay divided with 2 nights in Belize City and the rest in San Pedro. Our two nights in Belize City were well spent at the Villa Boscardi. The team there had excellent customer service from start to finish.
It was our first time staying in what is described as a bed and breakfast but it did not disappoint. The location felt clean and safe and the breakfast for the two mornings was great. I would recommend the deluxe room for your stay it was a nice size but I couldn't imagine what the smaller rooms look like. All in all would def stay again if I catch my self in Belize, all the other guests were from all over and it felt like a small community when catching breakfast out in the patio area. The manager made herself available to my wife and I with all of our requests and gave suggestions on local restaurants and called taxis when needed.
Very close to the airport and the ferry locations so if your journey has multiple stops this if a perfect place to stay.

The staff were amazing ~ very friendly and helpful. The villa was clean and comfortable and perfectly placed for exploring Belize. The breakfasts were the perfect start to the day and they even provided some sandwiches for the day we left the villa early in the morning for a day trip.
We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back again.

We enjoyed 3 nights at Francoise's lovely B&B around the Christmas Holiday, 2022. She is a lovely hostess; very helpful with dinner and activity recommendations. Her B&B is very clean, comfortable and in a safe neighborhood. We walked to dinners, a grocery store, the rum factory, the Belize sign and enjoyed an evening Christmas festival in a nearby park. Breakfast is very filling and delicious, served every morning by the lovely Carlit. There is also a water tank in the kitchen/common area, for guests to enjoy purified water, and a small fridge and coffee maker in our room The splash pool is wonderful, esp after a warm day touring the Mayan ruins. I would highly recommend staying here.

The calm and welcoming atmosphere at Villa Boscardi is enhanced by colorful plants, fountains, a small backyard pool, and seating. We were in room 8 which overlooked the backyard and was facing the open water a block away. We were comfortable and catered to during our short stay and the only blip was that we didn’t get truly warm water for our shower…which wasn’t a big deal for us so we didn’t say anything. This small blip was more than overcome by the wonderful breakfasts and friendly staff.

Absolutely. Call Villa and the caretaker will arrange for someone to pick you up from another hotel. If you like. Your first hotel can make all of Our ride arrangements. The whole country is so supportive of moving travelers from one place to another. They really like to keep you with one driver. Each hotel have their preferred drivers and taxi company. If arranged right, you can have the same driver the entire trip or at least most of your trip. Your driver can also serve as your tour guide. Our driver drove us to the Mayans, guided us through the Mayans, brought us lunch and it was all included with our reservation for the tour.

Call VB. They have a driver that they contract with that will pick you up and return you to the bus station at less cost than a taxi. He is really good.
Hello, We are located 9 miles from the International Airport. There are many attractions around the city. Go online and Google 'what to do in Belize City and surrounds". Upon request, we would arrange Airport transfers to Villa Boscardi. The standard fee for two people is US$25.00.
Thank you for your interest.
