My first bad review ever. Place was not open when we arrived during stated time of 3-6pm. Called number and got voicemail. Still have not been called back.
The place is rustic. It’s old. It has to be overpriced.
Made the reservation via Expedia. They could not get in touch with owner either. Took two Expedia calls (1 hour on phone) but new reservation at an Este Park Hotel was made for me.

Our family stayed the night here on our way into RMNP. Every member of the staff greeted us with a smile and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The sound of the rushing mountain stream just outside the window of our 2BR lodge room lulled us right to sleep. The kids enjoyed hiking the mountain hillside up to the church nearby and liked spotting the two llamas in the pasture across the river foot bridge. During our stay, the breakfast was continental. The owners were in the process of upgrading/adding equipment to serve prepared foods during our stay, but the variety of options was still impressive.
