My sister booked this hotel for us for our trip to visit “the house of mouse” ie. Disneyland. When I read some of the reviews I must admit it did concern me a little however I was pleasantly surprised. The staff at reception were friendly and efficient. The room we had was large ( they had us in a double room which had a double and queen sized bed separated by sliding French doors). The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Just a couple of little things were that indeed the walls are thin so if there is a Large excitable group like we had on the first night it can get noisy ( nothing that a polite would you mean just keeping it down a little wouldn’t fix). The second night no noise issues at all. The other is that breakfast is only served until 9 am ( other hotels is usually 10).so you need to get you skates on. The breakfast is continental re: breads, waffles, cereals, yoghurt, fruit coffee juice. There were also hard boiled eggs. Basic but fine to fuel up for the morning. Check out is quite late which is great 12 pm so after a long day at Disney you can sleep in and not have to rush. Overall for the price you pay it was great.

Room Tip: 5th floor. 2nd floor has the breakfast room so I imagine would get noisy.

Stayed here in 2016 for 5 nights whilst visiting Disneyland.

Room was brilliant, it was made up of a main room with 2 double beds, a second room with double bed and double pullout, tv, wardrobe and fridge, small area for hot drinks and a bathroom.

Freshly decorated and plenty of room for us all.

Took about 10/15 minutes to walk to the park, although I believe there is a bus you can catch.

Staff were all brilliantly friendly and helpful.

Hotel style, over motel style so you felt safe coming home of an evening.

Right next to Garden Walk with plenty of restaurants and a few shops etc.

Breakfast was included and good, however super busy as to be expected at a hotel so close to Disneyland.

Only downside was the pool, it was super small and built under the hotel, so was covered around 3 sides. Most probably wouldn't be bothered, but we were there as part of a road trip, so wanted to spend our first day by the pool.

Other than that, would absolutely stay there again. Looked to book for 2019, but it was already full

My husband and I traveled from Utah to visit Disneyland and Universal Studios. We reserved 4 nights at this hotel. When making the reservation, something came up enticing us to save $75.00 by applying for a Windham credit card. We did so (only to save the $75.00). We were approved, and used the card to pay for our room. I even called to make sure we were doing it correctly. When we arrived, they said we hadn't paid. They would not allow us to pay with the new card because we did not have it in our possession yet. We had to pay with another card, and forego the savings. Our room was over $800.00 for the 4 nights.

Strike 1: Unkept promise

Strike 2: Nobody ever came in to clean our room/make the beds/replace towels etc... for the entirety of our stay. We had to go ask for another shampoo bottle. One is not enough for 2 people for 4 days.

Strike3: Breakfast was awful. The worst breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. They gave us a to go bag with 2 granola bars and a really bad muffin. They only offered coffee to drink. We don't drink coffee, so we took waters out of the cooler. They asked our room # when we did that do I am pretty sure we will be charged for those waters.

I liked the room. It was spacious. We were not bothered by any noise. The bed was comfortable. We could easily walk to the parks. The Cheesecake Factory is right across the street. I guess I like the hotel itself. I am just not a fan of the people running it, and their policies.

Wow, I typically don’t write bad reviews for places (this might actually be my first one-star review ever - you can see my history!), but I feel the need to warn others about this place. I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with other family members, who chose and booked this place. By no means do I expect anything nice for a hotel like this, but it was actually disgusting.

The room and hallways smelled like a mix of chlorine and mildew. Since there was no housekeeping service whatsoever, I requested my own clean sheets, as they smelled musty and felt itchy my first night. Two sets of “clean” sheets had literal balls of long black hair in them and several strands all over the “fresh” pillowcases. I want to gag just thinking about it (see photo, which I’m deleting from my phone immediately after posting this review because it grosses me out so much).

I would highly recommend NOT using the pullout bed because I’m pretty sure those sheets and blanket have not been changed in ages. Is it normal for the pullout to be all made up already when you unfold it? I made the mistake of using it, even after adding an additional set of “clean” bedding, which I requested and received directly from the front desk. They smelled moldy/mildew-y and made me itchy! Even after taking a shower and putting down yet another set of “clean” sheets, I still felt filthy. My family members and I actually purchased sweatshirts and blankets from Disney (the reason for this hotel stay) after our first night because we knew we’d need them to get through our second (and last, thank goodness) night.

Also, their official website boasts free breakfast, which is not currently being offered because of COVID, according to the front desk. So this should be removed from the website, and customers should be given partial refunds, in my opinion, as this was a selling point for my family. But my main issue with this hotel was the total lack of cleanliness. Disgusting.

The website stated they had a fitness center and continental breakfast. When we arrived, both were canceled due to Covid. They did offer a chocolate muffin and granola bar each day. They did not clean the rooms and we were there a week. They did not take out the trash, give fresh towels, or clean linens. And if we asked for more towels, they questioned us. We asked to store our luggage for a few hours after we checked out and they refused. They refused to accept a scooter from a rental company for us, even though all of the other hotels in the area provide that service.

Late check in due to hotel staff, no internet on 5th floor, broken TV remote on check in, dirty pool area, no breakfast, understaffed. I would not recommend to anyone for the price. Motel 6 leaves better impression and costs a fraction of the price

Our only regret other than booking and having to stay at this disgusting hotel is that we could not simply go elsewhere because our contract was with Priceline.
The front desk was unbelievably uncivil. Thankfully we had our car for refuge when we arrived early to check in at this La Quinta as we had requested an early check-in but when we arrived, we were told no check ins until 3:00 regardless of earlier requests. As we were denied, we and our grandchildren were sent back outside into the heat to wait for hours. Unthinkable rudeness! We, nor they were even allowed in the lobby "due to covid". We saw this repeated many times with families throughout our stay.
There is no breakfast, no maid service, no amenities of any kind at this La Quinta. This place was filthy and stank with lack of care. The two maids they have employed were totally overwhelmed with work to do just keeping up with preparing rooms for new check-ins. What an offensive and repulsive hotel experience!

The room has an extra $100 deposit added to your fee and is returned two or three days after your visit. You will also pay an additional $18.00 per car parking fee to park your car at the hotel you just paid for. In case you don’t see this information on the website they will show you in bigger print at check In. Apparently this is a problem and others must have complained. The room is charged immediately not right before you leave.

We arrived and were surprised to find out that our reservation we placed months prior AND called to confirm 48 hours prior was cancelled in the middle of the night before we arrived. They claimed that our credit card declined (spoiler alert: another hotel was able to run our card just fine an hour later so it wasn’t an issue on our end). So we were 1000 miles from home with 5 kids and suddenly no accommodations. However, as we dealt with the nightmare level customer service of this place, I began to realize what a blessing this might be while I had nothing I could do but look around the lobby. Rodent feces trailing under their worn down lobby couch, nasty old fake nails popped off and laying on the ground in random areas, old food chunks in corners, a thick layer of grimy dust on most things in there. If this is the state of their lobby, I shudder to think what the state of their actual rooms must be. The lobby is what introduces people to your business, and if they don’t bother cleaning even that, I’ve got to assume the rooms aren’t fit for anyone to safely occupy. Photos they have posted all over the internet are deeply misleading as this place has clearly gone down the drain at some point and no one there is actually taking care of anything.

They ran through a list of changing stories as to why they were doing this to us, seemingly entertained at how frustrated we were. They tried to pin the issue on Expedia to make us disappear and suddenly they changed stories again when Expedia customer service proved their accusations to be completely false. Employees claimed there was no way to contact management and that management wouldn’t be on site for “several days”.

They very proudly showed us a list of many people they cancelled reservations for on that day over “declined cards” and I asked if they ever attempt to contact the customer before cancelling, they said no. As I stated earlier, our card was ran just fine by another hotel after we left. This business might want to consider their system has some sort of issue instead of silently cancelling on people and acting like it’s just all a bunch of people with no room on the credit cards they put on the reservation. However, there appears to be no room for logic at this business, and they seem pretty content to be running their rat sh** chateau as is. We found much cleaner accommodations for a better price with excellent customer service elsewhere.

The property is showing wear and needs some polishing and replacing. Unlike other La Quinta's, they do not have a hot breakfast other than oatmeal and toast.

THEY CHARGE $18 (+tax) a day to park and DO NOT disclose this openly on the Wyndham website while making reservations. You have to click on the terms & conditions link for this disclosure.. NOT RIGHT! I felt very ripped off as they basically stole $60.00 from me as I had no choice other than to pay the additional parking fee as other hotels in the area were full. Shame on Wyndham for not posting the parking fee or just including it in the cost of the room

Hi. We stayed in a king apartment and had 2 king sized beds with French doors between effectively like 2 rooms. I would assume normal king just has the one bed. Hope this helps. Enjoy your stay and stay healthy.

It’s about a 15-20 minute walk at a reasonable pace, easily manageable and we felt safe walking it even at night. We didn’t feel the need to take the shuttle. Enjoy the trip
Answer from Beth5674

There is an ART bus system to get you around a limited local area, mostly for hotel to Disneyland but you can ride any of them to get you closer to a restaurant, store, etc. The cost is based on days needed. For a 5 day pass we paid $23 each, use as often as needed during day. Many choices for transportation to and from airports. Will depend on which, LAX or John Wayne. We prefer John Wayne as its much closer. Buses, vans, and private options. I checked with several and determined best price based on per person. We ended up with a private van since we had 6 in our group making it the cheapest option.
