For five years before covid, we stayed at this top-notch boutique hotel as tourists visiting DC, in all seasons. Then, we moved here and as residents got to enjoy it all regularly. It has always offered an outstanding level of service, class, and hospitality. As it has just re-opened, it is so wonderful to see it hasn’t lost its touch. It’s as beautiful and welcoming as ever. We’ve had breakfast in The Greenhouse and dinner in the main dining room this week. The food is still amazing. As noted in another review, everyone on staff is helpful and friendly. This is a unique and special place. Beautiful spaces; a gracious and professional staff; very comfortable, upscale hotel rooms; excellent food; and, a superb bar and wait staff. High class all around. The Jefferson is popular with both tourists and locals. The efforts of all who work there create an atmosphere a cut above and you love being part of it. They have a loyal following of professionals in the city and residents who know how great it is. For tourists, it’s well-situated for lots of activities around the city; and, the staff knows how to make your stay memorable. After a year+ of covid shutdowns, and outstanding businesses having to close, it’s so gratifying to see The Jefferson open for business again. Highly recommend it.…

Definitely one of the top hotels globally that I've had the fortune to stay at in my life. Original Jefferson signature documents on the walls, immaculate top quality build and materials. Superbly polite and empathetic staff. Spacious and very well appointed rooms, including iPads that allow the guest to control the room and read the news.

We had a nice stay at the Jefferson. Terrific location. We walked up 14th Street for lunch and our dinner was around the corner. The hotel lived up to our expectations for a luxury hotel. It was very accommodating and friendly. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. We had drinks in the lounge and breakfast in the atrium. Both were very good with quick, friendly service. Valet parking was very easy. A terrific stay.

The Jefferson is just an all-around wonderful place to stay while in Washington, D.C. The food was excellent and the staff were courteous and helpful. The Quill was also an excellent place to unwind. The facility itself is just absolutely beautiful. It definitely lives up to its reputation.

Luxurious stay in central Washington DC. Located within walking distance of so many things, the Jefferson is a welcoming and wonderful hotel. The staff is so professional and the room was beautiful! Loved the oversized bathroom and tub! Great bar for pre-dinner drinks too. Stayed for three nights and would definitely repeat.

This luxury boutique hotel is the epitome of "luxury boutique" and remains a hidden gem in Washington D.C. The staff upon arrival are always welcoming and set the tone for the stay to come. Arrival is seamless and special requests present little problem. The rooms are elegantly appointed and when you step inside you get the immediate feeling of comfort and luxury. The rooms as well as most of the hotel walls post various colonial and Jefferson-themed motifs and artifacts. One of the best features in the rooms of this hotel is the water pressure in the showers which are unbeatable after a day of sightseeing in DC or a after a night out in one of the great restaurants in the city. The bar here is also one of the coziest you will find anywhere and something we look forward to on every visit. There is also a private Library where hotel guests can enjoy a cocktail or two. We have been coming to this property for over a decade and have enjoyed with kids, on business trips as well as just couples weekend and it is suitable for all of these occasions. I recommend highly and would put this on my Top 10 hotels of the world list.…
