We had an amazing day here to celebrate the end of the year with 100 guests for a long italian lunch. The weather was incredible, venue perfect and all our staff haven't stopped talking about it. Definately goes down as one of the most memorable events we have done as an agency.

We have just spent a wonderful night staying in one of the beautiful suites at Lavender Hill & would like to endorse previous comments.
Lavender Hill is ideally located in an elevated position amongst vineyards & olive trees with beautiful views over Oneroa (easy walking distance) & the western end of the island.
The suites are immaculately presented with everything you would need for a special experience - including an espresso coffee machine & a wide variety of capsule flavours.
Tracey is a charming host, is incredibly welcoming & helpful and cooks an absolutely amazing breakfast. As part of the service she shuttled us to & from the ferry and dropped us off at nearby Cable Bay Vineyards for dinner (also a great experience).
We loved our stay there & highly recommend it to others.

We stayed at Lavender Hill for one night over Queens Birthday weekend. We timed it perfectly and had some fine, warm weather despite the time of the year.

There are two suites, however we were the only ones staying that night, so it was very private and quiet. The suite was immaculate with a very Italian feel. The coffee machine was fantastic too and we sat outside on the garden chairs drinking coffee and admiring at the view.

Tracey arranged to meet us at the ferry on our arrival. She also kindly made a reservation on our behalf at Mudbrick for dinner and even dropped us off there. The breakfast in the morning was fit for kings with a huge range of fruit, cereal, yoghurt, juice, and bacon and eggs.

Overall we loved staying there and left feeling very relaxed. Would recommend to those wanting to treat themselves to a few special nights away.

Romantic place, excellent services, stylish rooms, kind owner, and beautiful views. Lavender Hill was definitely one of the best luxury and romantic stays we had in New Zealand. Tracey was extremely friendly and she makes the stay so memorable.

We recommend Lavender Hill to you all for a romantic weekend, birthdays, adversaries, weddings or other special functions.

Quite honestly the best bed and breakfast we have stayed. It was the perfect place to spend our wedding night. The attention to detail is amazing and not a thing is out of place. The quality of the breakfast is superb and the location and view from the property spectacular.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Lavender Hill exceeded everything we could have hoped for to conclude our already amazing wedding day. Not only did it provide a regal experience for the bridal party to prepare in, a stunning backdrop for some wedding shots but also a perfect romantic setting for our wedding night. The attention to detail is 2nd to none, with every angle of the Lavender Hill experience being so tantilising and luxurious.
David and Judy made outstanding hosts, both discreet and extremely hospitable.
The 360 degree views from this Tuscan beauty are stunning, looking across the water, the island and some of its vineyards. You're close to the ferry, and some of Waiheke's best vineyards and restaurants yet you still get the feeling of seclusion.
The only letdown of our stay is that it came to an end.
There is truely nowhere better to experience such a slice of heaven! We'll definatly be back.

Lovely welcome from owner. Beautifully clean and spacious. Bed was extremely comfortable. Highly recommended. Just along the road from Mudbrick Vineyard (sumptious dinner, but must book due to number of weddings they have) and Oneroa shops. Great drive along the gravel roads to Stony Batter Tunnels and Man o War Vineyard, love their bubbles. Calista Miro is worthwhile finding for a late lunch, great food and interesting cocktails. Peacock Sky Vineyard does a wonderful Rose and if you arent too stuffed from all that food and wine, have a go on the Zipline.

What a wonderful place to get away from it all and relax. The views and atmosphere at Lavender Hill are terrific. I can understand why so many people celebrate their special occasions at this place, as did my wife and I. Tracey and Pam are lovely hostesses and are anxious to look after your needs. The suite we stayed in was delightful with so many quality touches to enhance your experience. A couple of things to be aware of though, there is no air conditioning which can make a difference on very hot days, and no Wifi reception at all in the suite we stayed in. That can be an advantage at times too I guess.
Thanks Tracey for sharing your great environment , good luck for the future.

Gorgeous, comfortable, secluded. What more do you need when retreating to dissect your wedding day. We loved our stay and Tracey was a delightful host. We'll be back without hesitation. Thanks Tracey.

In March 2013, we celebrated our wedding anniversary by staying in Lavender Hill. Everything was so perfect we decided to go back there again this year! And once again, it cannot be faulted. The rooms were extremely clean, the hosts welcoming and very helpful, the breakfast was delicious and grounds' very well maintained. Unlike our first visit, which we enjoyed clear blue skies and little wind for the whole trip, we were in for the exact opposite this time - when cyclone Lusi hit NZ!! However, we were most impressed by how solid (and sound proof) the construction was! The wind might be howling outside but there were no rattling sounds from the construction. And even on a wet and windy day, the views were still breathtaking! Because of the terrible weather, we spent a lot of time just lounging around in the Suite, reading the many magazines they had, while listening to the CDs from their music collection. I can truly say that Lavender Hill is the type of place that you will relax and enjoy in any kind of weather!
