#3 of 25 B&Bs / Inns in Waiheke Island
Travellers' Choice
Kiwi House is a unique Waiheke Bed & Breakfast. A six bedroom home set on two levels, amidst spacious decks and an attractive garden setting, your next 'weekend away' makes the most of its Oneroa location, and all that Waiheke Island has to offer. Affordable, fresh, inviting, you will know yours is a seaside stay. This is a fabulous place from which to explore the vineyards, specialty shops, art galleries, and cafes... and yes of course the beaches. A most difficult decision will be whether to meander into the village, to Oneroa beach, perhaps Little Oneroa, or Blackpool. All are less than 10 minutes easy stroll, and if you want to venture further afield, bus stops are within 100 metres of the B&B.

This is a great place for a group to stay. 14 of us stayed here. Clean, tidy with Tracey hosting continental breakfast each morning. She lives downstairs and we had the 2 levels above. 6 bedrooms in total. Google it. 5 min walk to Oneroa. Highly recommend.

I booked Kiwi House via AirBnB but it was so good I reviewed on their app and found it here to review again. Stayed Sept 2020. Booking was easy, as was checkin. Greated on arrival, super friendly had all our details ready. Room was outstanding, clean, warm, homely. Shower was great and bed was soft. Breakfast was delicious. With amenities to warm your own food too. Tea and off on demand. 100% recommend this B&B.

Stayed for four nights. Tracy is an awesome host, there when needed and privacy when required. Beautiful breakfast, ample and delicious. I am a clean freak and Tracy has her B & B top notch clean and pristine. Fantastic value. Tracy also went out of her way to courier left behind clothes. We would totally recommend Kiwi House. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Thanks Tracy for a fantastic break

Just got back from a 5 days stay on the island. Tracy is a great host, professional but friendly. We had family friends on the island so was only a skip hop jump away from Kiwi House. Breakfast every morning provided a great platform to meet other guests, good conversations and exchange of travel stories. Highly recommended, rooms clean, beds comfy & great location. Look forward to go back!

Not worthy to go if you want to see kiwi I had a 3 days train tour from Auckland to Wellington and the very last day before heading to wellington I was arranged a Kiwi tour with no guide and no transportation - I was dropped at a tourist centre where I was given a local street map that I was supposed to WALK to the kiwi house The map looks simple but when I was at a junction there were 3 roads in front of me where a KIWI house sign didnt give direction I tried one of on the left but not going uphill which was correct but after 5 mins walk there was no more sign and nothing seems like a farm site .... finally I stopped and asked for help from a local driver in a passing by car and the lady driver was so nice to offer a drive to the place which was more much far away from the map shown (12mins from tour centre) I was given a zoo map with 22 spots to visit but you cant find number on each site and you dont know where you are with no one to ask no sign to follow Worst part was they said there are 2 kiwi birds in the glass house in the dark zone and the dark zone was really dark that you cant even find your way to walk you can only use your hands to feel what is in front of you and find no way to get out - that was really dangerous to senior people or children Staff said I should spend one hour in the zoo but I have to run and nothing special to see the zoo was old and small no managment at all - tourists should aware there is no signal in the zoo and the parking lot so you cant call cant arrange Uber or anything to do Only way is to walk away from the site I had to rush for the train and felt really frustrated with no help and no choice that I have to walk to the train station ..... it was a bad experience

Hello, hey this is the wrong site for your review! We are a B&B on Waiheke Island and other the odd kiwi ornament you won't come across a Kiwi. Would be much appreciated if you could redirect to the correct site. Kind regards Tracy :-)
