Absolutely divine spot. A rustic charm. Stayed Saturday night. Great little touches: candles, insect repellent, ground coffee, fresh milk. Fantastic shower pressure,Perfect for a short staycation... has also wonderful grounds near water & big sharing table & umbrellas if chose to have a few drinks. Spent day at Poderi Crisci most beautiful vineyard on the island. We had 2 cabins as with friends. Will be back. Thank you Jenny & Paul.

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful super clean property. Cute little boatsheds converted to a high standard with everything you need included. Roomy ensuite bathroom and amazing view from the bifold doors out to the tranquil water.
The hosts were lovely and really helpful. We loved the location, we loved the accommodation and we especially loved the ducks and chickens strutting around the garden areas.
Would definitely stay again!

Room Tip: Steep driveway to the car park but just drive slowly and it's fine.

My wife and had I lovely 1-night stay in the Starfish Apartment (wished we could have stayed longer, but we had limited time in the Auckland area). It was nice having the 2 rooms even though it was just the two of us. I really liked the outdoor space outside of the apartment which overlooked the bay and the boatsheds below. The common area was nice too, down by the bay. Was thinking about taking out a kayak or going for a swim in the morning, but the low tide completely dried out the bay! Oh well, maybe next time. Only thing I didn't really like was the bathroom, where the toilet and shower had no separation - this was a bit too rustic for my wife and I and took away a bit of the romance of the apartment.

this is what my friends all said when they saw my pics on social media. These little blue boatsheds are charming and so cozy. I love the all white interior and the bed was extremely comfortable. They are also well located for exploring Waiheke Island. I can just see myself living in one for a few months.

Boatsheds on the Bay is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway! The grounds were immaculately manicured with a small deck outside each shed facing the Shelly Beach estuary. They had direct access to the shore. The facility was very clean with everything cleverly tucked behind cupboard doors. Showers had good pressure and bathroom well stocked with toiletries. We especially appreciated the insect repellent provided as sitting outside the deck for a cuppa in the evening was really enjoyable but could be ruined by bites. This was a very cute place to stay and the rate was not bad compared to other properties on Waiheke. And most important of all, hosts were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely 2 nights here after Christmas. Despite the crowds, Boatsheds is lovely and quiet, tucked away on it's own little spot on the inlet. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped, though a little small if you are planning a longer visit. Wi-Fi was excellent. Lots of friendly ducks and chooks as well as the resident cat. Close to a very nice winery Goldies and an excellent coffee shop in Ostend outside Countdown. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
