Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Best accommodation ever! Comfortable fit for 21 of us with loads of space. Modern, family-friendly, pet-friendly & we loved it so much we are planning a return! Really appreciated the covid-proofing of the home with lots of tissues, hand sanitizers, gloves & cleaning products. A home away from home with gorgeous views across the valley. Fakaaue lahi Trevor!🇳🇺😎👍🤩

Our team of 22 stayed at the house and were all happy to share rooms. There is so much space and it's set up as almost 2 completely separate houses which was great for those that wanted a quieter space. The main lounge was large enough to very comfortably seat 22 people for training and when watching movies in the evenings. The main kitchen has EVERYTHING you could ever need and more with a large long table outside to eat together whilst watching the sunset in the distance! The 2nd kitchen is great as it has an additional large fridge freezer and dishwasher which was great with being such a large group. We would highly recommend this house for both accommodation and meeting facilities - thanks Trevor for being an amazing host too!

Thank you Kaitie and your team so much for being our guests at the Lodge, you are most welcome to come again. We are very pleased that you enjoyed the facilities of the Lodge for your presentations and movies in the main lounge and socialising in the living areas - the two kitchens and two lounges prove very useful at times. The sunsets are something special from the large outside deck and it was great that you made use of this to have a meal and enjoy this. Thank you for leaving the Lodge tidy and locking up - much appreciated. Hope to see you all again. Regards Trevor

Trevor was incredibly helpful. Our request to stay at the property was very last minute, but Trevor managed to pull out all stops to make it happen for us. It was a very special time for the family to get together and we’re just so great full that Trevor managed to make it work for us all. Some very special memories were made over the weekend and the property was immaculate and all our needs were very well provided for. Would recommend 11/10

Just back from a fantastic few days with family and friends to celebrate a 50th birthday and New Years Eve. The house is easily big enough to accommodate 5 families with kids, There are enough living spaces that the kids can have their own area away from the adults. The views across the island back to the city are superb and the sunsets from the deck are incredible. The house is extremely well-appointed and Trevor is one the best hosts we have ever come across - extremely helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful place to stay as a large group. Kitchen well stocked, everything you need is there. Individual rooms that suited all our families, and the second kitchen came in handy for one of our families preparing baby food while the main kitchen was being used. Beautiful seating area on the deck, amazing view. So much room. Great place to stay.

One of the best trips the family and I have had away. We had friends and extended family join us on one of the days to celebrate our engagement (arranged with the host prior to our stay) and everything was perfect.

Waiheke lodge is absolutely stunning with an amazing view and it has everything you need at the house. We had 19 of us stay the weekend and it felt so spacious and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Trevor is a lovely host.
Thank you for having us!

You are most welcome to come again - we are very careful before allowing parties at the Lodge, but your organisation was properly done and arrangements fully understood before you came. The clean up was excellent - thank everyone for doing a great job. Lovely guests and would love to see you again.

We had the most amazing time at the Waiheke lodge the views are amazing and the entire home is huge great for large groups. Thank you so much again for having us and helping where we needed it. Trevor went out of his way to drop our driver off, put names on the doors and make things easy for us. We will be back.

Thank you Vanessa for your kind review. Your organisation and communication was excellent and this made it easy to provide what you needed. Thank you for leaving the Lodge so tidy and for reporting the minor damage quickly - no charge, this really helps. I have posted the two cell phones left behind and the watch charger cable - no charge - I am sure they will be happy to get these back; with large groups it is most common that something gets left so not a problem. Looks like you had a great time. You are most welcome to come again.

We had our extended family of 18 people (5 family groups, including 6 young kids) stay for three nights at the lodge for a 90th birthday get-together. It was incredibly well kitted-out, provided great spaces for each family group and had a couple of sizeable living spaces and kitchens. The views and sunsets from the deck were beautiful. We enjoyed the cascades bush walk and vineyard (the Batch winery), which we walked to from the property. The hosts were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone. Thanks so much Trevor!

Myself and a large group of friends recently stayed at Waiheke Lodge for a long weekend, and cannot recommend it highly enough. What an amazing spot. Amazing views, complete privacy, and a fantastic large house with huge decking and communal areas. Everything was spotless and ready for us upon our arrival on the Friday.

Trevor also provided great communication and instructions on the best options for getting food and groceries delivered, and was fantastic host in general.

Great villa for a large group. Comfy rooms with all the facilities and an amazing view. Would recommend for celebrations and work trips. Good communication and tour by the host. Batch Winery is a 5-10 min walk away. I’d recommend hiring a car as public transport is limited.

Thank you so much for being our guests at the Lodge and for leaving everything so tidy - much appreciated. You are most welcome to be our guests again - look forward to seeing you ! The Fullers Waiheke Island Explorer bus tour stops at the batch winery not far away and we can pick your cases up from there. Many of our groups use a mini bus or two and we recommend local companies who our guests have said looked-after them well. Auckland Transport is limited on Waiheke to just the main road from the ferries to Onetangi beach and Rocky bay.
