This place was exactly what we needed after travelling all the way from North Europe: beautiful location, everything worked smoothly, loved the terrace & having a small kitchen, and the tranquility of the place! Also a nice beach nearby with delicious pizzas (Dragonfired). The place is so well located up on a hill, you get to sleep well in perfect peace & quiet and see the stars at night and yet stay within a nice stroll to the village for shops & cafés etc. Regarding the room everything was nice and well arranged, our room had only a tiny bit of ocean view so it was also possible to enjoy the view from a secret spot in the garden - lovely idea! No need for a taxi when arriving (too much waiting), just hop on a bus and the stops are very close by to the house - just a steep walk uphill which was a bit tricky with baggage, but the location and views are worth it <3…
We stayed for two nights and loved it. Perfect place with everything you need and an amazing view to go with it. Jo was fantastic as well, great communication leading up to stay and the day off. Highly recommend for a nice couples weekend away.
While we only stayed one night, our experience was fantastic. From booking, Jo, the owner was responsive, warm, informative, welcoming and professional. Our room, #3, had a lovely view of the bay, was exceptionally appointed, and contained everything you might need. A brief walk to the main town and right near the bus stop, the location was perfect. We can’t wait to return!
Just got back from a week staying at Watermark - just wonderful. A perfect studio with everything we needed plus views of Little Oneroa beach to die for. Jo, our host had thought of everything and there was even a bottle of fizz waiting for us. 5 minute walk to the most amazing beach and 10 minutes to the village with fab shops and cafes. Can’t wait to come back !
We really enjoyed our stay at Watermark Apartments. Our room was nicely decorated and very well presented. It had everything we needed. There are great views of the sea! It was lovely to wake up to the view and also very pleasant sitting outside in the afternoon looking out to sea. It's a short 10 minute walk to Oneroa shops - so great for visiting cafes and other sites. Little Oneroa Beach is a short walk - maybe 5 minutes down hill. There are a couple of very handy bus stops and it's easy to get to Watermark from the ferry by bus. (Even easier if you have an AT Hop card). The regularity of the buses has recently increased and they're a great way to get around the island. The owner, Jo, was very friendly and gave us lots of information about places to eat/things to do. She also gave us a lift into Oneroa when we left (which we really appreciated!) We highly recommend Watermark as a place to stay on Waiheke Island.…
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Apartment 1 - it was perfect and the view was spectacular. Jo was very friendly and welcoming and even gave us a lift into town. Would recommend this place for a stay near Oneroa, it was very convenient.
Lovely stylish studio, warm and cosy and only 10 mins easy walk to Oneroa shops and great choice of restaurants. Uphill on the way back but not too challenging and worth it for the views over Little Oneroa. Morning walk to the beach followed by breakfast on our private sunny patio. We only booked one night but ideal for longer stays to explore the island. Would highly recommend to family and friends!
This is exactly as presented with beautiful views, quiet and clean. Nicely decorated with modern furnishings and equipped with everything needed. Jo is gracious and helpful. Easy 10 minute walk into town. The hill is steep on the way back but that's why the stunning views. Beaches are fantastic and great local bus system.
The location of the apartment is perfect and the views are amazing. The apartment itself is clean and modern with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Jo was also very responsive both before and during our stay with any queries and recommendations. Would highly recommend.
My room was very spacious, light, and stylishly decorated with wall to ceiling windows looking out over the ocean. Equipped with everything that you could possibly need. A small terrace had a table and 2 chairs, which was delightful location to eat a meal or enjoy a glass a wine. It was fantastically quiet.
