Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent stay at Jasmine Court! The location was perfect for us. Easy access to the ferry, train station, and hiking trails, as well as the restaurants and shops along the breathtakingly beautiful harbor. Super clean and spacious rooms, very comfy beds. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful (which seems to be a general New Zealand trait!). We would definitely recommend others stay here…and hope to return someday ourselves.

We stayed here in January 2023 prior to walking The Queen Charlotte and March 2023 prior to an early morning Cook Strait crossing. We were very happy with the service, the size of the rooms and everything else. Very very clean, we would not even look around anywhere else – just stay here

My partner and I stayed here for only 1 night as we were taking the ferry to the north island the next day. After reading reviews for others in the area, we chose Jasmine Court and I'm so glad we did. The bed was comfortable, check-in & check-out (not 24 hours, so note the hours of availability) was a breeze, the room was super clean and the man at the front desk was very nice. Our room had a king bed and a kitchenette; rather spacious for the price (which was very low, by the way). Plenty of parking as well. I would highly recommend Jasmine Court to anyone staying in Picton. We noticed that their sign said "no vacancy" while many others did not...I can see why!

Great hosts, hotel and location 11/10 with communication. Extremely well presented twin studio: king bed and single, very clean, great facilities with friendly and helpful hosts. Motel very close to amenities too. This was excellent value for money too! Book direct. Best of all - a comfortable bed AND thanks for turning on the light and heater for us arriving late. Being understanding for addition at last minute. Thanks.

Great place to stay - very clean and well presented, with very friendly staff. Walking distance to London Quay, the main street, supermarket and the RSA is right next door- great evening meal. Our room was a good size with a separate bedroom and small kitchen. The bathroom has a spa bath with shower over it. A rubber mat is provided for safety which was most appreciated. The heated towel rail held 2 towels easily. Bed and linen all very good We could look out over the harbour and into Queen Charlotte Sound. Off street parking, free wifi.

My wife and I stayed here for one night recently to be near the Ferry Terminal for our trip from the South Island to the North Island. I was pleasantly surprised by the place. It was very clean, nice and the woman at the desk was very nice and helpful. My expectations were that it would be average at best but it was actually nice. The room was large, the bed comfortable, parking was adequate and it was very quiet. I would recommend it to someone taking the ferry. The ferry terminal is only a mile away.
