Amazing views from our bedroom and terrace. Comfortable bed and spacious living area. Colette was charming, entertaining and very helpful with suggestions of what to do and where to go. Also, provided delicious breakfasts.

What a lovely stay we had at Whatamonga homestay! We were touched by the way Colette welcomed us and had thought about having a family with two young children (eg she gave us the apartment with balcony and not the one without so the children wouldn’t be in danger). Our eldest one was very happy to help her preparing breakfast and she was very relaxed about the boys (you could definitely see that she is used to children). Apart from that the apartment was spotless, the view was the most beautiful one you can imagine and we even saw dolphins passing! Overall a little piece of heaven on earth!

Beautiful location with balcony overlooking the bay. Borrowed the kayaks for a paddle. Apartment is lovely - real attention to detail, we borrowed Collettes barbecue one evening. Really enjoyed the personal touch with breakfast, the baked peaches were fabulous. Really nice to talk to Collette over breakfast too.

So glad you enjoy your stay with us. Colette prides herself on her breakfasts and feels it is really important to spend time with her guests so she can share her love for the Sounds and learn about their travels.

Our cabin was a great place to hang out, noTV or internet so very restful . Colette is a great host, providing delicious breakfasts and local knowledge ( eg the new Picton library has free Wi Fi if required). We had 3 peaceful nights, discovered the local, very unprentious but delicious Thai restaurant and explored. The weather wasn't great but didn't really matter, I borrowed some fishing rods and enjoyed a quiet morning, fishing on the rocks below. Finding the driveway entrance is tricky first time and quite tight parking if you have a large car but well worth the visit. A great find.

We stayed at Whatamonga Homestay in late Feb 2017 and enjoyed the great location and Colette's hospitality. The location on the waterfront provided great views in a tranquil landscape. The location is convenient for a trip into Picton whilst being outside of town and in a coastal rural setting.

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We do believe our rates are very competitive especially as our waterfront location also enables our guests to "get out on the water" and explore the bay at their own pace in kayaks and dingy provided for no additional cost...such an idyllic spot...Colette looks forward to welcoming you back to Whatamonga Homestay.
