One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! Comfortable rooms with comfortable beds, great common room, nice kitchen, a garden where you can harvest vegetables, fruit and herbs. Great outdoor area. Nice and very helpful staff! Absolutely worth the price!

If you are looking for a warm lovely place that just feels like coming home then Jugglers Rest is just the place for you. Snuggled into an enchanted secret garden you get welcomed into the owners home as part of the family. Prepare to feel homesick after leaving. Every room is spotless and individually decorated. I would recommend this place...

Pretty cool place a bit out of town in Picton, really good for people into the whole juggling and dreadlock traveler thing. The lady who runs it is really friendly and offers free organic food and lots of smiles, though did feel there was a bit of a clique to it.. have to be organic, frowned upon for using internet.....

What a little gem this hostel is! Really get a great vibe as soon as you cross the threshold. Nikki the host is warm and welcoming and she has certainly left an imprint on the hostel. Really feels like home from home. It's clean, comfortable and friendly. Only wished I had booked another night to really chillax.

I stayed at Jugglers rest for 3 nights - I only wanted to stay for one, but it was just too nice! Jugglers rest is a unique hostel with a vibe around it that makes you feel comfortable and at home from the moment you step through the door. The owner is very nice, motivating and helpful, and the cat...

Nicki has been running this hostel for the past 17 years. She is delightful. A dynamic bundle of positive energy. NO bunk beds, it seems like a big friendly home. Entertainment every night (weather permitting). I almost changed my address to Picton. Highly recommended. Lindie from Canada

Don and I had a fabulous time at the Juggler's Rest in Picton, New Zealand. The most striking thing on first arriving was the artfulness of the place, which was quickly followed up by the efficiency and 'yes we can' attitude of the owner, Nikki Hensen. The bathroom (that is, the room with the bath, as opposed to the two...

I stayed for 3 nights and could have stayed much longer. Very nice house with spacious rooms with cosy beds (NO buncks) and a priceless atmosphere. Learnd a little juggling and playing with pois which was great fun. We even had a fire show at night which all guests enjoyed to the fullest. Just love this place and hopefully come...

I've stayed here a couple of times and always aim for a room here if I have a night in Picton (book in advance, it's popular!). Bruce is fantastic. The house is warm and friendly, filled with little cosy nooks and fireplaces and old fashioned homely items and all sorts of circus toys. There are soft armchairs and hammocks and...

Though we just stayed one night we experienced the full hospitality of this place. As a family of three we were able to book into a 3 bed room and had our privacy when we needed it. Our child was immediately friends with the owners’ cat »Omi« and the atmosphere in the shared kitchen was great. In the evening one...
