Detailed Reviews
We found unit 6/30 London Quay, Picton through booking.com. What can I say except wow! The apartment was 1st class and the warm reception from Janene the owner was second to none. Nothing has been left to chance with this apartment with every extra thought of. So quiet and peaceful and plenty of room for everyone. Highly recommended!

Stayed here in 3 bedroom unit with family for Dads 70th.
Clean and tidy and the view is insanely good- as the photos show. Location is right in middle of town, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants all within a stones throw as are all tourist facilities.
Would highly recommend, had a great stay !

This is an excellent place to stay. whether waiting for the ferry or spending a few days in the Marlbourgh area. A good sized, well appointed kithched was provided. A very large sitting room and two good sized bedrooms made for a very comfortable stay. All details necessary for a good stay were attended to. Highly recommend.

Our family stayed here for 2 nights after driving from Nelson.
This is a lovely apartment - well fitted out and decorated.
However the garage door was non operational so our car was never secure.
My other negative was the check in and payment process.
The drive took twice as long as we'd planned and we arrived later than expected. This attracted a phone call from the manageress asking where we were. We got the impression we were inconveniencing her. There is no onsite management and in retrospect, it's awkward. We also had issues with the payment - our Visa cards weren't accepted on their particular credit card machine so we paid cash and never received a receipt after I requested one. It left a bad feeling.
We will not be returning.

This apartment is warm, modern, comfortable and has wonderful views out over the Picton waterfront. It has a large deck/balcony with two different seating areas and a BBQ, all of which also overlooks the waterfront. The kitchen has many kitchen tools in the drawers and lots of plates and wine glasses. It has a large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave, all high-end brands. The bathrooms have shampoo, liquid soap and tissues as well as towels and face cloths. The shower is great with high water pressure and hot water. The master bedroom also has wonderful views and has an ensuite bathroom with a shower (no bath in the apartment which didn't bother us). The other two bedrooms are at the back of the apartment and have a queen bed and a single bed in each. These rooms are quite dark and have no view. The apartment is right opposite the lift so you can hear it and any people around it very clearly from the bedrooms. There is a bathroom close by to the bedrooms. The whole apartment is mobility friendly and the only steps are up into the apartment and a small step over the lip of the shower. We were there in the winter and the whole apartment was very warm with a heat pump, which we often didn't have to use as the apartment retained the heat very well. There was a washing machine and a drier in the main bathroom (and a tub). The apartment has Wi-Fi. There is a secure basement parking and a ramp up to the lobby/lift area.
The apartment is very central to everything in Picton (shops, restaurants, water activities, the Picton-Wellington ferry ...) and it is all within walking distance.
We had a lovely stay here and would definitely recommend it to others.

One of the best places I have stayed.
We booked a 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the marina. The lady at reception was really lovely, and showed us all over, and gave us a primo recommendation for dinner.
The apartment was stunning. Well appointed with a breathtaking view over the marina and sound. Sitting on the balcony watching the ferry's and enjoying the sunshine was hard to beat. Down the lift, across the road and your right on the beach.
The main bedroom had a queen bed with access to the balcony and a tasteful ensuite. The second room was located across from the main bathroom and had a queen and single bed. Parking provided in a secure gated lot for one vehicle.
Full Sky TV, and a large well equipped kitchen.
I can't wait to return, and have recommended to everyone I know.
Brilliant!!! :)

Location is great, with a cafe/restaurant down stairs, and right in town, short walk to a mini supermarket, shops etc
View over the harbour was lovely
Check in was efficient, offsite office.
Apartment was booking via hotels.com and in there the name of the apartments is actually Picton Waterfront Apartments. I booked last minute and they only had a 3 bedroom available - i was travelling for work - it was expensive, but well worth the $.
Internet was great, fast and unlimited. Everything you needed for either a short stay or a long stay, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 was an ensuite, lovely large rooms, and a large balcony with you can access from the master bedroom or the lounge.
Carparking downstairs with remote access to the doors, so nice and secure.
Bed was comfortable, good shower pressure, nice large tv in the lounge, no tvs in the bedrooms, air conditioning
On the balcony it had table and chair and a small bbq.
I would definatly go back

Couldn’t fault this wonderful apartment. For a start it is in the best location possible for getting around Picton and if you are catching the ferry to Wellington the terminal is a short walk away as are the car rental offices if you have a car to pick up or return and there is undercover secure parking. It is also a stones throw to shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarket if you want to self cater.
The apartment is very well appointed with everything you could possibly need to have a comfortable stay.
The kitchen is very well equipped, dishwasher, microwave, cooking equipment, tea & coffee, plenty of cutlery and crockery and they even supply washing powder to use the laundry and free Wifi.
To top it off...the beds are blissfully comfortable.
I’d return here to stay in a heartbeat.

Only booked last minute the night previous. Other half did the booking so I didn't realise where we were staying and that it was privately owned apartment. What a lovely surprise!!!!! HUGE apartment, 4 bedrooms, massive kitchen and living spaces, right on the harbour with amazing views. Talk about spoilt for our last night in the South Island before getting the ferry the following day. We loved it here and will keep in mind if we ever return and would definitely stay again and recommend.
If I was to be picky about anything is that I was surprised that for such a luxury apartment with HUGE spaces that the master bedroom did not have a king size bed (was only a queen). Also we used the laundry facilities and the dryer was full of towels so I had to empty and fold before we could use the dryer. Also check out was 10am and although we were on our way out anyway, literally at 10am the cleaner is opening the door, perhaps they could wait just 5 more minutes to ensure the paying occupants are well and truly out.
GREAT location, lovely place, we were in apt 10. Highly recommend.
