Amazing B&B! Absolutely stunning property , beautiful and comfortable. The place has a great style, all needed facilities provided. Sharon and Noel are such an amazing hosts, we felt very welcome here. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and will recommend it to everyone. Will look forward to come back.
We had one overnight stay at the fabulous Beaufort House in Akaroa which on arrival looked beautiful set in gorgeous gardens and stepping inside was just as wonderful. The many antiques, paintings and marine collectibles create a relaxing ambiance to totally unwind amidst luxurious surroundings. Our hosts Noel and Sharon made us very welcome and with such genuine hospitality that we soon felt 'at home', almost like long lost friends! The suites are spacious with top quality amenities, gorgeous bedding and towels and we felt like we were in a 5 star exclusive Lodge (without a $1800 price tag). Breakfast was delicious and substantial. Thank you Noel and Sharon for making my birthday so memorable. You are great hosts and we had a truly lovely stay ❤
To hosts Sharon and Noel thank you so much for making our weekend away such a delight. Your incredible service and attention to detail in every way was fantastic. From wine and canopies on the lawn, to the stunning breakfast, the whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable. The house is stunning, and the facilities in this beautiful heritage building make this a "must do" if anyone is thinking of having a weekend away of utter indulgence. We loved our stay and will be back again. Such a special treasure in Akaroa. Thank you again... Mike and Nancy.
We stayed 3 nights at Beaufort House and enjoyed our stay. The house was built in the 1870’s and has been converted to a bed and breakfast whilst preserving its character. Set on a hillside with neatly arranged gardens and a small vineyard, it also has the original servant’s quarters. An extensive continental and cooked breakfast will set you up for the day. Drinks and canapés add another level to the experience. Thanks to Sharon and Noel.
Akaroa’s special boutique B&B What a find ... super hosts with Sharon and Noel. What a gracious and much loved heritage house. Filled with a wide ranging collection of nautical and antique finds...everyone has a story. Pre dinner drinks and canapes to meet the other guests. The room fit out is jaw dropping. The breakfast table setting iwould not be out of place in a 5 star london hotel!!! Chef Noel delivers a unique customised breakfast for each of us. So sorry to leave this haven. The only regret is we should have stayed 2 or 3 nights to explore akaroa fully. Thank you Sharon and Noel ... you made a great stay a perfect stay
We stayed for 3 nights at Beaufort House at the end of our 9 week holiday in New Zealand. The house, which is only a few minutes walk from the village centre is fabulous, full of treasures carefully displayed and our room was full of character and spotlessy clean. Sharon and Noel's hospitality go one step further than an ordinary B&B by inviting all the guests to join them for a drink and canapes in the evening and the breakfasts round an enormous table were a feast! Both were really helpful with suggestions of good walks and places to eat.
Two nights here at the end of our New Zealand trip. The house is delightful, and the hospitality is five star. The early evening gatherings for canapes with the other guests and Noel were a highlight. Breakfast was excellent and designed to suit every guests requirements.
We stayed in this delightful House for three nights, after a long trip through the South Island, staying variously in apartments and motels. Sharon and Noel have created the most wonderful oasis of calm, and we felt so much at home, that it was difficult to leave. They are both full of ideas and suggestions of things to do, and places to eat - if you need help it is gently given. Breakfast was a total delight, freshly prepared each morning, and no sense of having to rush. Drinks on the terrace each evening we’re wonderful, a great opportunity to meet fellow travellers and to hear their tales. Beaufort House is a treasure trove of wonderful and quirky things, collected by Sharon and proudly displayed. Each piece has its own story - we hope you have the time to linger and enjoy. …
Amazing, luxurious, period property set in beautiful gardens and walking distance to the main street. The wonderful hosts helped with recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. Fabulous drinks/canapes/breakfast in a lovely location.
Sharon and Noel both know how to make their guests feel special and treated well. Every little thing in the house contributes to the overall pleasant atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed a very relaxed bath in the lovely tub that came with our room. Breakfast was wonderful and all dietary restrictions can be easily catered for. Treat yourself to something special, you won’t regret it!
