Mosaic Hotel is situated in the heart of Riga; in the most respectable and quiet part of the city - the embassy district, surrounded by monuments of architecture style Art Nouveau included in the Culture Foundation of UNESCO also referred as the most beautiful part of Riga - "Quiet Centre" or ,,The Golden Mile". Nowadays the ,,Quiet Centre" is a favored place for relaxation by the citizens of Riga. Elizabetes street along with the other neighboring streets create a unique art and culture environment where men and women of virtue can enjoy the architectural pearls of Jugendstil and Art Nouveau in the very centre of Riga. Museums, concert halls and theatres are just in a five-minute walking distance along the charming "Kronvalda", "Esplanade" and "Viestura" parks. Old city is only a 10-minute walk away. Decorated in a minimalism style, all rooms feature beds and shared bathroom and shower facilities, include bed linen and towels. Free WiFi. There is a large double bed or twin beds in the room, blackout curtains, wardrobe, mirror, and desk. One of the main advantages of the rooms is their compact and excellent layout space. The hotel has a common living area with sofas and a flat-screen TV 42-inch. Facilities (shower and toilet) are on the floor. 24 hour reception, parking (on request). The Mosaic Hotel's front desk is open and ready to assist guests 24 hours a day.

Great experience! Very clean room and bathrooms. They had a place for parking, small breakfast (toast, bacon and cheese and coffee) and a realu good location! Only one thing I see as a disadvantage is that 5 rooms has 2 showers and 2 toilets... and sometimes it’s occupied.. :)

The hotel is more like a dorm/hostel with private rooms only. Because the Shower/toilet is shared between several rooms. However it did not cause any issues or discomfort. The hotel offers breakfast however it is pretty basic, but enough to start your day. The staff was welcoming and nice. The decor is good and the rooms were clean.
I think its a great place to stay if you are on a budget and want to visit Riga as the hotel is near most of the atractions.

Simple check-in, clean rooms, no que to the common bathroom. Breakfast is basic but keeps the hunger away. Could have better noise insulation, you can hear people walking by in the hotel corridor.
Location is good.

First of all, this is not a hotel, however they charge the price as for the hotel. There is only one bathroom together with the toilet for the whole floor. Through paper walls you can hear every single word from other rooms. The whole structure is shaking when someone on the floor closes the door. Since there are no toilets in the rooms, drunken people are crossing through the corridor all night long and you hear their every step. Besides you need to pay extra money for the breakfast, which is poor but sufficient. When taking the breakfast you meet people shuffling to the toilet which is right after the kitchen.

Great little place to stay for a few nights for a base. Rooms are basic but Clean and tidy. Decent little common room to socialise with friends as a meeting point.
Showers good condition also.

Breakfast is very basic but for the price you are paying there can be no complaints.
Polite and helpful staff if called upon.

Great location , short walks or cab rides to old town.

Very good location, easy to get around, short walking distance to the Old Town, but also this hotel is located in a beautiful Art Nouveau district, so it is worth to wander around the surrounding streets. I can recommend dining at the close by Flying Frog and on the opposite side of the street Casa Nostra. Nice and helpful staff at the hotel, cosy room, toilet and shower easy accessible on the corridor, simple breakfast.

Very good location, walking distance from the center. Free parking was a little misleading since the hotel only has a couple parking spaces... we had to bring our car to a public parking lot further away, which was not really expensive but still added quite a bit to our budget.

The rooms are small but clean. Nice bed! The breakfast is very basic, but still better than nothing!

All in all value for money if you want a hotel with good location and a basic but clean (and modern) rooms.

Dear guest, thank you for your kind feedback - it has been my pleasure to host you in our hotel and we are glad if you have enjoyed your stay over all and especially our convenient location, comfortable beds and clean rooms. We appreciate all remarks and comments from our guests so to make it fair, please kindly note that the hotel is located in the very center of famouse historical area known as Art Nouveu district. Parking here is either expensive or not allowed at all. But still luckily we managed to offer to our guests at least three parking spots in the courtyard for free - sure it is not enough for the whole hotel but this is the best what we can do for ourguests travelling by car. And that is why in the reservation details it is clearly indicated that the parking in the hotel is available but is based on current availability and thus needs pre-reservation from the hotel. We truly hope you had a pleasant stay in any case and we will be glad to see you again!

Nothing wrong with this place. Friendly staff. Bathrooms are shared but clean. Good value for money. The location is not that far from the city center but it’s recommended to install a taxi app like Taxify beforehand.

Never before in my adult life have I slept on rubber sheets, but here the chance was given. Under the regular sheet was an all-you-can-pee protection provided. The rest of the bed linens were already the sweaty kinds, so the rubber layer was removed. The staff and employees from the surrounding buildings like to use the courtyard as their smoking zone, which goes straight into the room. The new-ish carpet needs to be aired out, so it's a constant open-close game.

Location is good, and for this price one can't expect much more. Breakfast is included, but see this as an emergency stop before you go out and get something proper to eat.

Other good parts then? Nice staff, the room was big and so was the bathroom, modern and newly renovated. Soap and shower gel is included. Both rooms had windows to let air in, and there were three sockets next to the bed, so charging phones was very possible, nothing to take for granted.

Dear Guest, thank you for your kind feedback - it was really funny actually... :) Apart of all, we are glad that you have mentioned our convenient location and friendly staff. We appreciate all remarks and comments from our guests. To make it fair, let me point out that the sheets which you mentioned so dramatically are quiet commonly used in all hotels and are used not only for the sake of preventing peeing in the bed - as you are emphasizing on it so much - but to prevent any kind of liquids in the bed, like water, wine, etc, which is hapenning far more often than peeing. In fact in our hotel never happened something like that before and we don't really understand why you are focusing only on this matter. In any case, this kind of sheet makes it possible for all guest to sleep in clean beds since the mattras is not possible to clean if it's damaged but the sheet you can clean. And regarding breakfast your critics is sure appreciated but our breakfast is included in the stay and you certainly shouldn't be expecting something serious about it - as for example eggs with bacon or else. In the hotel description it is clearly stated that light Continental breakfast is included in your stay and most of our guests find it enough start of the day. We hope you had lovely stay over all and all the best to you in your future trips!
